Greetings to my esteemed readers, while have been inside the confine of my room, ruminating on my school experience while I was an undergraduate on campus, my ups and downs, my dreaded nightmares, my vision and mission outside the school curricula even as I Forge into the world beyond the four corner of the school and beyond the scope of my studies, I found it imperative to digest carefully reasons I should embark on serving my father land eventually I found none.

National Youth Service Corps as established by Law on 22nd of May, 1973 by the then Military regime under General Yakubu Gowon after 30-month civil war that ravaged the country, the said bloody civil war emerged from disunity, misunderstanding and cultural differences of Nigerians. Gowon administration set up an investigation panel which later suggested this scheme should be introduced in a bid to reconstruct, reconcile and rebuild the country after the civil war.

          The major purpose of this scheme is to foster national unity, inculcate the patriotic spirit in our young and promising graduates, build inter, Intra ethics relationship between youths from diaspora who are brought together to serve their father land. This scheme is meant to empower graduates to be self-dependent via exposure to skills acquisition programs, integrate man into the society of common man. This scheme as its root in solving national problems through the youths who are crops of different institution but were posted to different ethnic societies to study the environments and proffer a lasting solution to the prevailing problem devoid of the language he/she speaks, devoid of cultural barrier etc.

          Now is something that saddens one’s heart to see this scheme as it has become national impediments to teeming graduates, it is totally sardonic, demonic, satanic to see different employer of labor base their employments yardsticks on this rotten scheme that has wasted precious time of youths who are supposed to have invest the year spend in serving their father land on something fruitful. The scheme that subject graduates to 3 weeks program that has no multiplier effects on entrepreneurship skills of our youths, a year program that will not expose our youths to problem solving skills, a scheme that majority of our graduates from different works and fields of studies are subjected to majorly “teaching profession” that apparently halves of this young mind has no idea and ethics of impacting knowledge in leaners, now this phenomenon contributed more crisis in the teaching profession. Average secondary school management all over the country under employed staffs all because they knew another crops of graduate will be churn out to serve their father land using this opportunity to fill vacant teaching seat ditto organizations and promising companies who ought to be employers of labor, rely on the man power (corps member) supply by the government yearly, this indirect employment that cost the Federal government #19,800 but cost the company #0.00 turning the corps member to  a slave who has no wages for service render but subjected to his master decision.

          NYSC has done more harm than good it intend to serve, if your mates are mobilized to serve their father Land but due to issues or complications with your results you are not mobilize with your collogues, people tend to look at you as an unserious fellow, you will be the household name among your equal, did you know Mr. A was not mobilized?, your parents will start asking some nauseating question like when will you be going for your youth service, if unfortunately you have carry over in any of your courses, what will come to the mind of average student is “am not going with my mates” NYSC indirectly becomes another way our government colonized our youths then disperse them to different region to serve the so called father land.

          Permit me to quickly talk about the allowance given to this youths, average youth are posted to a region he has no relatives, he will be force to integrate and strife with conflicting cultural practices, unknown myth, Taboos  in a new society he/she found himself, he will have to get an apartment, probably where he/she will be posted to might not be a walking distance he/she will have to transport himself/herself down to his PPA, feed himself, cater for basic needs with just #19,800!, How on earth did you want me to serve my father Land under unfavorable atmosphere and unsmiling economic  comatose?, some who were to serve the nation relentlessly were busy serving the nation in a well furnished apartment, exotic fleet of car with factory fitted air condition, national recognition, expensive goods etc., are they not serving the same country?, After a year of the slavery sentence with hard labor, the promising youth who are expected to be the nation’s future , investors and leaders are sent home with zero account, no compensation to invest in their dream careers, what a country we live in.

          Most institutions are interested in book banking education as opine by Nyere, knowledge driven, performances base on reading and assimilating abilities, no room for practical questions, no place for innovation and creativity, just on NUC curricula which are practical on papers but theoretical in practice. This scheme was established to provide a remedial remediation to the loop holes and lapses in the Educational sectors.

          If truly we wish to change the country, we need to change our orientations towards this scheme, it should be a voluntary scheme not mandatory, it should not be made rudiment/yardsticks for employment but can be an added advantages, serving corpers should be pay reasonably, accommodation should be provided, a skill acquisition program should be included in the curricula of this scheme that at least a member can depend on to cater for his family after serving the country. Life impacting Conferences, seminars should be organize for all corpers, corpers should be encourage to serve their father land at will not on compulsion.

          Finally readers, let us learn to be an apostate of old traditions, let new innovations, yearly improvement in this scheme, as it is one of the grass root the youths can be truly prepare for the future. The future of this nation depends on these ill-treated potential-full graduates.

I am pleased to write you today and to congratulate you on your victory as the Governor of our beloved Sunshine State. Sir, do accept my best hearty wishes and prayers for a wonderful and fulfilling tenure In office with great achievement for the development of a new Ondo State.

I am writing as a Sustainable Development Goals Champions, one out of the successful 400 SDGs/NYSC Champions that was commissioned to carry out the 17 SDGs within Nigerian community by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) and the NYSC Director General, Brig. General S. Z. Kazaure.

Your Excellency, It worthy of note, that you are a proud visitor to one of the Best State University in Nigeria, the University that houses the most well organized, cultured and law abiding Students in Nigeria. Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State houses the most compelling Senate Building in any Nigerian University. Your Excellency, AAUA students are not only cultured and well organized, they have become a force to reckon with within the academics, sporting and entrepreneurial circle of activities in Nigeria. Thanks to the past governors efforts, the past and present Vice Chancellors, Academics and Non Academics Staff, the Students' Union bodies and the entire students of AAUA for their efforts geared towards making it an enviable institution.

Your Excellency, AAUA produces outstanding Law graduates in Nigeria. She produces athletes for the nation and a lot of award winning Alumni in various fields which include the most recent SDGs Champions, whereby AAUA produces 7 out of the 400 NYSC/SDGs Champions across Nigeria.

Your Excellency, God has brought you into power in a time like this when SDGs is very paramount to the present administration of our ever gallant President, Muhammadu Buhari, as great Nigerian and a lover of great minds and sound education, may I inform your Excellency, that Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, where I happened to be an Alumnus and a former Students Union President of the University and its host community needs your urgent attention in regards to implementing the SDGs agenda.

Your Excellency, out of the 17 SDGs that the 400 SDGs Champions have been charged to take action on, AAUA and its host community is seriously been challenged with 2 of them, which includes:
* Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
* Goal 7 : Availability of affordable, reliable Power Supply (Energy)
Your Excellency, the University and its host community in a "Change and Act A New" era needs your urgent attention on the Goals 6-7 of the SDGs, which on behalf of the Students of Adekunle Ajasin University and its host community can be rest assured on your quick intervention.

Sir, having gone to many universities in Nigeria, and having seen the differences between AAUA and others, I must given kudos to the Students of AAUA to have been successful despite the unavailability of the Goals 6-7, yet AAUA students still went on to make a good name for themselves and for the Info State owned University of great reputation, which according to Jamb became the second most sought State owned university in South West.

Sir, with the great efforts of the Prof Igbekele Ajibefun led administration and the increase in the population of the Students of AAUA as a result of the new faculty of Agriculture, which as a result will have more effect on the little or no water supply in the host community and absolute lack of power in the community, I therefore ask that state government come to the aid of the students of Adekunle Ajasin University and its host community by introducing "water and light for all project" by supporting the University with internal means of generating of electricity and less dependant on the use of generation, which also have effect on our climate. Also, drilling of boreholes across the nooks and crannies of the host community and to see into why Akungba Akoko Is in total darkness for the past years.

Your Excellency, I am more than confident that this request will be given urgent attention, as I have the assurance of your special love for AAUA and it's host community.

After a long vacation, have concluded to go back to my writing table to drop one out of my much anticipated write ups....

Now to the business of the day, it is a common ecstasy that has cascaded and marauded many mind and in a subtle way replaced "Favour" in place of "Labour". After my thorough researches, oral interviews and discussion on various platform, now I realized where religion opium has lead many in Nigerian..

The word labour market is a generalized concept denoting the interaction between the supply (number of persons available for work) and the demand (number of jobs available) and the wage rate. While Favour has no market, some religious leaders has consciously insert the word Favour in place of Labour to be called Favour market in place of Labour market.

Even though with sampling techniques adopted in course of this writeup, many people has their own view why they decided to adopt the word favour in place of Labour market, some cited different instances, for example, a case of a young graduate who recently graduated from university and got employed immediately without any year of experience, NYSC certificate, referee, low CGPA and the case of a graduate who has completed his one year mandatory youth corper service, good academic stand, immense experience, good human relationship and has searched through the nook and cranule for job opportunities but all his effort end up without substantive and substantial job, yet walking aimlessly without hope for the future of securing a job..

Many even said, is only those favour can be employed,further more, some backup their belief with biblical reference,excerpt God build the house those who build, build it in vain, and the common biblical passage *not of he that will nor of he that run but of he that he show mercy*, but the logical question is, is Labour market limited and confine just to the wall of white collar job?, absolutely no!, if you set up a business and you employ able hands and minds, that is an example of Labour market, where services are render and goods are demanded and in turn get the worker wages settle that is Labour market...

Labour has literally denoted by individuals to Mean to suffer or to undergo pain or stress, or to undergo difficult tasks, has logically setup the space where people are ready to reproof and reject pains and suffering, but conceptually Labour market is like a world or a system where demand, supply and workers interact.

Religious beliefs and egocentric system of man has lead to establishment of favour market which in economic world and employment world is an invalid word...

Hence it is argument that lack logical support (argumenum ad logicam) I will urge my readers to desist from using the word favour market but use the right word which is labour market, because no one has been favour if not worth the favour.
The Holy scripture opine to study just to show thyself approve. So no Favour in Labour market, only the market favour the able and vibrant worker who has what to contribute to keep the system in equilibrium .
