Please how old should a bank statement being submitted be?

I know. I want to get a study visa but there are no available appointments in either SA or Egypt so I’m thinking of going straight to Lithuania to apply for a national visa.

Please is there anyone who has applied for a short stay visa through France in Lagos and then proceeed to apply for the student visa on getting to Lithuania? If so please can you share your experience with me?
