The subject refers,
I am a Christian. However, I have been struggling with a whole lot of non Christian like habit. One of such habit is watching of pornography and masturbating. This habit has lingered for more than 10 years now.
I am an introvert probably what has made it worse and perpetual.
I don't like this act. But I usually still practice it.

I believe God loves me but he hates this act. I really don't know how to STOP IT.

Pls I need help. This has really affected my relationship with the Holy spirit, myself and other people please help.

Also I have discovered that in the past 2 years i have been so disorganized, and forgetful.

At work I have been termed a LIER. I feel really embarrassed with myself when people give me something and I forget I have been given or I don't know where exactly I kept it. Then I will be asked of the same thing I won't be able to find it. Sometimes I deny it was ever given to me because I can't remember It was ever given to me.

This has brought me a lot of struggles at work(banking) and has made me ever so frustrated with myself.

I WASN'T LIKE THIS[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][/font] before. It so unfortunate this is happening to me.

My prayer life too has gone down the drain it's zero. I attend church service Sunday however due to the current lockdown I can say I don't have any relationship with God!

I can relate perfectly to your current state, I was once under this menace but thank God I'm on the pathway to freedom today... Don't mind those suggesting marriage is a cure for it, marriage would never cure lust. The first thing is, do you desire sincerely to be free, it is easy to mouth it off but are you really sure? If Yes, the solution is both physical and spiritual... You need to replace those habits by cultivating Christ like habit, I'd recommend you start off by reading books you can find on overcoming lust e.g "Every young man's battle".... God will only help you if you're willing to run, he won't run for you but be rest assured he will run with you.. Make it a daily goal to pray at least for 30 minutes each day, read at least one chapter of the Bible, also get one verse of the Bible you'll meditate on each day, you can set up constant reminders for this verse using your notepad. The battle is gradually won, it might look difficult at first but trust me as you continue, you will begin to see improvements not only in this aspect but other areas of your life as well

Great discovery.
Science keeps making new discoveries.

I have noticed something on science related threads.
There are usually these set of unintelligent religious folks who have refused to grasp knowledge and tend to make silly, childish remarks. Why? Simply because the information contradicts their religious beliefs. So they refuse facts based on research and rely on books written by men who never knew how the world worked.
If this research had mentioned "50 million years", here are the kind of ignorant comments one would expect.
"How old is the world again"?
"How did they know this"?
"were they there? so how did they arrive at the age"?
"Science and lies".
"What is the benefit of this research"?
"These liars are always trying to discredit the bible".


You see, these comments come from people who are unintelligent, and have refused to do little research, simply because they don't want to feel the earth dates back to billions of years, which will prove that their beliefs are false.
They're always quick to discredit scientific discoveries like this because it doesn't suit their beliefs.
They'd rather lie to themselves than admit the truth.
If you're ignorant about how scientists come up with the age of an object, or how they arrive at certain conclusions, just a simple Google search would do. Information is power. Widen your horizon.

Just so you know: If you don't believe research which is based on evidence and facts, but believe that a virgin gave birth to a boy who walked on water and turned it into wine, only to die and resurrect three days later to ascend into the sky, then you're a compound fool .

Lol.... If you're really under pressure to insult when making a point, then it shows the comments must have really gotten to you... Life's easy bro, you can't force your convictions on people, learn to make your points without derogatory remarks... Peace!
