What I don't understand is how the Northern governors are able to pay salary while their counterpart in the South are owing salaries. yet, Southerners always abuse the North as the decayed part of Nigeria.

We cannot remove political base and history from political projections.

It takes the amalgamation of ACN, ANPP, CPC and a part of APGA to form alliance , for them to defeat a very formidable PDP.

At that time, there are key traditional swing regions for PDP....the SE and SS.
Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Goodluck Jonathan....all won because of the solid votes from SE, SS....ACN, ANPP cannot penetrate that region.

If you look at the patterns the North have been voting, it is more of who the political gladiators are...A Buhari, Atiku, Ali Modu Sheriff, El-Rufai, Shekarau, Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, and many others...each usually control their political bases.

Now, the United PDP couldn't withstand the United APC..

The 3.5M margin of 2019.....remove the SE and SS PDP votes, and see the margins goes wider..since we all agree LP will win those zones...who will that affect, APC or PDP

APC will also lose some votes, especially with Kwankwaso in Kano...but then, LP would do more damage to PDP.

In 2019 Apc controlled far more state than pdp and you saw how PMB won with about 3.5 millon votes . Hausa/ Fulani are always hungry for power. They will rather support Atiku than go with Tinubu. Infact in 2019 many big politicians in the north supported Buhari cos' PMB is more popular than Atiku

In Obi case , na only se the guy feel win . Ipob people are just disturbing us . They know the truth . Kwankwaso will rather do more damage to Apc than Pdp . Kwankwaso didn't really support Atiku in 2019 judging by what pdp got in presidential and Governorship election. Apc should write-off Kano , Abba Yusuf Gida will win .
