Hi every one. I am new here. Pls I am having g problems with my concrete pond. After restocking. I notice my fingerings dieing. From 2500 to 1800 within a period of 1 week. Pls I need advise on what to do since I have use drugs like aqua cure, I change water every day. Though some one said I should have disinfected the pond before restocking. But I don't know how to go about it. Help me save my fishes

Is it a new pond?

Do you notice anything abnormal about the fish before the deaths start to occur?

What feed do you use and when you feed then what is the response like?

Good day all. Just stumbled on this thread. PS I want to ask, the concrete pond and the tapolin collapsible pond, which is better, can same result be achieved using either type of pond, thanks.

From my experience, the tarpolin pond is a better one because the concrete pond takes time to properly mature for use. It may take as long as six months to get all the chemicals from the cement out of the pond in some instances. We normally use chicken wastes to make this process happen faster but generally the concrete pond takes longer time to mature. The tarpolin however does not emit as much chemicals into the pond provided the tarp is not directly in the sun; the same way pure water left in the sun tastes funny.

I suggest you go for the tarpolin pond.

How often/intervals can it b used..
In a pond of 13ft by 7ft by 4ft deep how many tablet will be optimum.

Once a week is okay. Depends on the fish density in your pond, 50-100 grams.

A little tip I learnt is to purchase chicken intestine during festive season, and if you have free access to them, good for you.

I usually boil it with salt only and then feed my fishes. They love it like crazy, even after eating the usual local feed.

I was just playing cutting some moringa on leaves on my concrete pond and I noticed they ate it, dunno what that does for them, but I stopped it.

I also read somewhere that you can starve the fishes for 2days and then feed them with paw paw leaves, it acts as an anti bacteria, I have not tried it but it could be a subject of discussion.

Good one with the chicken intestines, Just make sure you boil them properly and don't add salt next time. You could also try egg shells from boiled egg or simply boil the egg shells. Excellent source of calcium for bone development. Thank me later.

madan don't mind them... Most of them are theory farmers.... You are very correct provided your water exchange is up to 90%. ... My experience so far I never see where person go stock pile feeds for fishes.....as they grow they feed less... It's a sygnoid curve for goodness sake..... Increase at increasing rate and later increase at decreasing rate. Oga o teacher dn plenty pass the student..... We are all still learning sha.... As knowledge is a continor.... White Vitamin C is good as it boosts immunity and increases the fish appetite. Too much can lead to acidity of your pond as vitamin c is also ascorbic acid.

Processors are in clusters. The most power efficient clusters are A53, A72, and the more recent A73. Older clusters like A7, A53 etc are not power efficient. You should avoid phones with these type of processors (mostly in Snapdragon 810). Newer clusters in Snapdragon are the kryo cores are very power efficient even under intense load like gaming and browsing (used in the Snapdragon 820 and higher).
