Let us agree with this man for a moment that the Principal Officers at the National Assembly in fact need not be distracted, hence deserves immunity. Any curious observer will quickly strike the similarities between what was happening during Shagari's '83 regime and what was happening under Jonathan. The second coming of Buhari is seriously discomforting the "Chopping Choppers". They are worked round the clock to avert it, but surely it came. The intervention of General Buhari in 1983 saved Nigeria from these "Chop Chop" regimes. Continue reading on... http://olalekanadigun.com/buhari-the-second-coming/ |
I think some people are right in their analyses of the issues. Even the most optimistic party supporter will deny the existence of “irreconcilable” differences within the APC today. There were early warnings which the party strategists for reasons best known to them simply chose to ignore. The only logical explanation one could find for this is that beyond winning the 2015 presidential elections (defeating the PDP), these factions or “trends” within the party had no other ambition hence, this post-presidential election crisis! What happens when an organism suddenly stops growing? My guess is that you know the answer but I don’t want you to tell me. If we agree that the main purpose of life is growth, then the extinction of certain creatures like dinosaurs from planet earth can be that they suddenly stopped growing. A cell that stops growing or fails to subdivide or die becomes cancerous and useless. Just like when our leaders continually apply the same old, failed methods in our public life, showing stagnation, portends danger for the country’s growth. There is disquiet in the once-peaceful house of the All Progressives Congress (APC). To put it more lightly, all does not appear to be well. After the March 28 presidential election, most people only imagined “doom” for the party’s bitter rival, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after it lost the presidential election. The APC strategists must have thought that with the presidency in the bag, all will be well after all. But this was never to be. Can it be the case that the tables are turning fast?
