I can't say for sure. Different news but the range for MSc should be between 200-300k

No it does not need one, just go to your previous school and ask them to forward it to Uniben

Gdday fellow Nairalanders, can someone give an info into how d postgraduate (masters) programme is being run for Engineering. Is it FULL TIME or PART TIME and timing for their lectures. Am luking forward to be a student next year.

Welldone adibo. According to the advert I think the referees have to mail their reference letters to the university before the application can be processed. Will this not duplicate the function of the printed referee form? I need clarification on this. I've submitted my application already.

Morning, the site says we are to mail it but that is not what happens in reality. I have called some of the students and even a professor in Uniben and they all said i should bring the referee form on the day of exam or during clearance. Also if you go through the thread for last year Uniben pg, you will find the same thing there. Hope i have clarified it sir

Am also a prospective postgraduate candidate. Am yet to collect my form, can any1 pls give us a rough estimate of the Tuition fees we re to pay. And is it compulsory to use a professor as a referee?

it is not compulsory you use a professor, but better if it is at least a senior lecturer. The school fees i dnt knw, some one told me 150,000 per semester, another said 150,000 per session while one said 200,000 total. So, i am not really sure

Could you please give a simple and concise analysis of the online application, the steps taken and the documents printed? I should do mine tomorrow, go for my transcript next week. Thanks man.

Go to (https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants/pg2015), then click on register for application, fill in the data required with ur email (a reliable one), after which ur username and password will be sent to your email.
Go back to the Uniben site and log in with those details sent to you, after which, you start filling in your details, upload ur passport (red background and less than 20kb), ur waec result, ur bsc grade and details, name, NYSC details, etc and then you pay with ur ATM Card, when you are thru, simply submit, print out the application form when you are through.

Also print out the referee form using this link (https://uniben.waeup.org/downloads/PG_Referee_Form.pdf)

pls while registering i wrote 2015 instead of 2014 at d place of nysc year. I startd servin Nov 2014 n will b thru by Oct 2015; pls will d date affect my chances of getting admitted?

To mail the transcript, simply go to your School where you graduated from, and apply for your transcript, ask your school to send it to Uniben, i did mine last week (AAU).
Also, concerning the submission, i meant that i have submitted my application form online, so we are to hold unto the application and referee form till it is time for entrance exam or clearance.
Well, concerning the NYSC year, i cannot really say if it will affect but i remember seeing such complaints also in last year's Uniben pg thread, it will be best if you go to the school to confirm from the PG School, hope you dnt stay far away

Morning, just use your Atm card for any bank, go to the site, click students portal, and follow the instructions, the amount is 12,050 naira, i paid for mine last week, it was very easy. Try to follow the Uniben pg 2015/2016 thread below

Yes they have power and machine. I believe they should accept the statement of result but all the same, try to get the certificate if it is possible

Also, I'm having my official transcript with me which I collected in February to be uploaded to a foreign university. Can I use this transcript instead of requesting for a new one?

You are to submit the referee form by hand during your clearance, dats after admission (because i know by God's grace, you will be admitted). Yes you can also use that transcript, just mail it to them but ensure you address it properly
