How much did it cost pls
I actually bought the items myself from Cocharis. I bought the inverter at dealer price, 288k while the batteries cost 240k each at dealer price also. Then the Jinko panels cost 129k each. That's about 1.155m. Then I paid for the installation

Good afternoon all. I want to appreciate everyone for their advice and help, I was finally able to get my inverter system set up. Mercury 2.4kva hybrid, two 220ah mercury batteries and three 475w Jinko panels. I have been enjoying it since 5th of this month, it has been a wonderful experience, 24 hours light since then. My fridge is always on from morning till about 6pm.I also use it for ironing and blending, and for my washing machine. It was installed by solarengr

I've eCool Ox Solar ceiling fan for sale @ 40k with the power consumption range of 12w to 30w. The lowest speed of 12w is what I always use.
I've another type @ 33k with the lowest speed of 12w and highest speed of 30w.
I've another one of plastic blades @ 27k with the lowest speed of 10w and highest speed of 27w. I made use of the lowest speed everytime.
All of them came with the remote control.
Where is your office located?

Get QASA AC/DC, it's the best, it goes from 1 to 9.. 4watts to 65watts. most time you'll use 4 to 6 that only 12wats to 25watts.
7 8 9 are on another level.. consumes 36w, 45 and 65watts but omo, you don't want to use those always.
I use 2 or 3 for all day just for continued ventilation which is good enough 7 and 10 watts
I shared a picture here some time ago of the power consumption by Levels. I can't find the pictures now.

Updated: I found the post.
1 - 3w
2 - 5w
3 - 8w
4 - 14w
5 - 18w
6 - 27W
7 - 35w
8 - 45w
9 - 65w
Thanks a lot. I actually checked for this fan cus I had a qasa ceiling fan before but since I moved to my new apartment, I have not been able to use it cuz I can't find any electrician that knows how to install a rechargeable ceiling fan. The one that was supposed to come just sent me a message this morning that he does not know how to install it. I can definitely attest to how good the fan is, used it for two years.

I also asked for the current price cus I want to put another one in my parlour, they said it is 46k. I might just have to call the electrician who fixed mine for me the first time though he stays very far from my new apartment.

Good morning, thanks for your response to my question on my fridge, a repairer fixed it yesterday.

Is there any ceiling fan that consumes very low power? Like 10 to 20w?

I just hope he didn't run a freezer with an MSW Inverter. Apparently the compressor coils are bad. Your suggestion of a professional fridge repairer is in order.
The inverter is a pure sine wave inverter. I will call a fridge repairer to look at it. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate

My freezer has been on programmable timer that turns on at 8:40am and turns off at 3:20pm for two years now. I doubt the issue with the fridge has anything to do with the timer.

From what you described, it appears the fridge may be experiencing a technical issue something to do with the power circuit in charge of powering up the compressor. The 800w you see is I think the fridge compressor's initial power draw when the compressor is about to kick on . I'm afraid you may need to invite a fridge repair person to take a look at the fridge (special attention to be paid to the compressor circuit control power board).

But before doing that, I'll recommend connecting a 60w or 100w incandescent bulb (old school yellow bulb) to the digital timer and set the timer to power on and off to see if anything happens to the bulb.
OK, thanks a lot, I will do that

When Plug the fridge directly what is the response?
Same thing. It makes a click sound every few minutes, the fridge light is on but the things in the fridge and freezer are not getting cold

Also, whenever it makes the click sound, the inverter fans start working and the inverter becomes noisy, and the load shows almost 800w before dropping but when before using the digital timer, the fridge never takes the inverter load beyond 300w at any point in time

Good evening all. I bought a digital timer to use with my fridge for my inverter. I used it for the first time on Friday and set it to turn on my fridge by 8.30am and turn it off by 3.30pm.

The problem now is that when I got home around 7pm, the fridge was off, since there was light at that time, I turned on the fridge but the fridge is no longer working. It makes a click sound every few minutes, the fridge light is on but the things in the fridge and freezer are not getting cold.

Also, now, when the fridge makes the click sound, the load on the inverter rises to about 800w for a few seconds before dropping down to normal which did not happen before.

What could be the problem?

low battery disconnect should be at 24v for your battery type, 23.6v should be the minimum you should get to and it should not be always, 27.6v is okay as your float voltage although that should be written on your battery case
OK, my battery is a tubular battery, the installer left the low battery disconnect at 20v, I will change it immediately. Thanks

I checked the battery case, nothing is written on it

Reduce the utility charging mode to 20a or 25a, leave the solar charging current as it is as that will be determined by the number of solar panels you connected to it
Thanks for your response. My Low voltage discharge is currently at 20v for a 24v system. Is that too low? If yes, what is an appropriate level?

Also, my float charge is at 27v, I saw somewhere they said it should be 27.6v, what should I set it as?

Good evening all. Under utility charging mode of my inverter, it shows AC maximum charging current of 60A. Should I leave it at 60A or reduce it to 20A (dats what I saw online) while the maximum solar charging current is showing 80A, should I set this to 80A as well? I am using two 220ah tubular batteries

As someone that has used, supplied and worked on almost all battery chemistries, I will advise that you look into going for LITHIUM, if of course money is not an issue.

Now back to your question, I will assume it's a solar system because the inverter is hybrid and that it's a 2.5kva 24v inverter.
24vdc 220ah flooded Vs. 24v 300ah SMF

The flooded has a total of 5.2kwh storage with 2.6kwh usable (50% DOD) while the SMF has a total of 7 2kwh with 3.6kwh usable.
Flooded is more durable and can take or withstand large charging amps while large charging amps can damage SMF chemistry.

4pcs 150ah batteries requires more installation cables and increased point of failure than 2pcs 220ah batteries, it's also easier to upgrade to 48v system by adding to more batteries and get more watthrs than converting the 4pcs 150ah to 48v and get less watthrs or be forced to add four more batteries - more expenslve.

Flooded requires periodic maintenance, the electrolyte is acidic and can damage stuffs if it spills, it's also not advised to be used in a room with little or no ventilation, outdoor use is best while SMF requires no maintenance and can be used indoors.

Personally, if those are your options, I will advise 2pcs 220ah batteries

Thanks.

NB: If cost is your only consideration when buying batteries, I'm afraid you will not get premium battery and might spend more on the long run
Thanks a lot for the time you took to explain to me. Money is an issue sha, I heard lithium batteries are quite expensive.

I plan on going for mercury batteries, heard they are quite good
