Besides they need to do a thorough due diligence because if the make payment and it eventually turns out that they paid to the wrong party they will be held liable and have to bear the loss

1. Create an X account and followed the late mother bank
2. Drop the administration document on X app account and narrate how the bank has frustrated you for over a year and half.
3. Request for your mother statement of six (6) months before she died till date. I know why.

The truth though is that these things take some time to process.

The bank will forward to the legal team, who will forward to their external lawyers (usually a law firm engaged to verify documents like this).

The external lawyers will then carry out the document verification process at the court where it was purportedly issued.

While I believe this can be done in less time than it is currently done, the workload and bureaucracy are also responsible for the delay. You can only imagine how many tables that document will pass through before it's finally approved.

Just hang on a little longer.

don’t drag anyone on twitter, it’s not only your late mum details they’re dealing with. Just develop relationship with them and call them regularly.

see it happened to my late dad account, we committed everything to God cos’ these accounts officers are very busy and they don’t want to make any mistakes in your credentials screening and presentation. What my mum did is getting the contact details of two of the officers in charge, Infact before the money was released, it took 1 half years. Mum was following up and calling them often. Just be patient and some follow up. The funds will be release.

I will advise you in this way. First commit everything to God’s hands. Secondly, try and have the bank manager or the officers in charge of your mum account details. Have their contact numbers and call them regularly.. at times they delayed the deceased payments cos’ of series of verification here and there. Best of success. Just pray on it sir..

Yep same thing dey kept yapping, they were waiting for The Probate Department despite the fact that I submitted a certified true copy of the LOA.

After the LOA was cleared, they started with BVN wahala, mad frustration, but las las dey released the dough through same UBA.

Like I said earlier nothing u can do, but just wait, they will reach out to you when they are ready.

well it's money in the account not shares,they are saying the problem is from probate,that they have taking the letter of administration them for verification

Been one an the half year my mother died and the bank she used freezed her account saying we should get a letter of administration,which we have now,we submitted to the bank since first week of January up till now they are saying the have sent it to the head office,legal department is still working on it a whole three week going to the four week,account that they freeze for over one and the half year,nigeria banks are wicked
