Prior to the removal of the former Chief Justice of Nigeria ,Justice Walter Onoghen , the PDP had perfected plans with the former CJN to use the instrumentality of the court to destabilize APC in the country. Aside Rivers State where they had succeeded in denying APC from participation in the forthcoming election, Delta State was a major target of the Onoghen cash and carry judgement. The PDP targeted the leader of the party in the state , Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan with a view to distabilizing the party and get victory through the back door. Governor Iferanyi Okowa who is the arrow head of the plot in the state was said to have prepared a kangaroo judgement and handed over to Onoghen who gave it to a judge in Abuja to deliver at an agreed date. The plot was however exposed after the removal of Onoghen as CJN. This is the reason PDP members in the state were very angry when the President sworn in the the acting CJN Justice Ibrahim Tanko. With the obvious sign of defeat of the PDP in the state, the PDP decided to announce a judgement prepared by Okowa and James Manager without any court proceeding. They had initially prevailed on the judge contracted by the former CJN to read their judgment because they had given him money for the judgement but the judge declined their request because APC has exposed the plot.
However, not satisfied with the action of the judge , the PDP decided to propagate falsehood in the social media using a compromised Delta north APC member who has been accused of anti party activities by APC members due to her strong agitation for anioma governor contrary to the outcome of the APC primary in the state. Mrs. Laureta Onochie who was not happy that Chief Great Ogboru emerged as the APC flag bearer in the state made herself available to be used by PDP in furtherance of their anioma agenda . A presidency source disclosed that she may be fired by the president for conspiring with the PDP in the state to ridicule the party that is working hard to deliver Mr. President in the state.

Senator James Manager was said to have given Governor Ifeanyi of Delta State the assurance that he is firmly in control of the Ijaw speaking areas of Delta State. This assurance was said to be the reason why Okowa supported him to win the PDP primary. Sahara news gathered that the recent endorsement of former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan by Ijaw traditional rulers and community leaders has shown that Ijaw people are tired of James Manager and PDP. The imminent defeat of James Manager prompted him and the governor to blackmail the former governor with a porputed court judgement which has fallen like a pack of cards. Pondits believes that the governor made his greatest mistake by allowing his predecessor to leave the PDP.
ONLY A MIRACLE CAN DELIVER OKOWA: Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State requires a miracle to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election. Political observers believes that Okowa has lost ground totally in areas that have the bulk of votes in the state. Delta South and Central have about 80% of total votes in the state and it is abvious that APC will sweep both senatorial district leaving Delta north as a battle ground for both candidates. Effort to speak with James Manager proved abortive as at the time of filling this report as calls made to his lines were unanswered.

Breaking News! EFCC arrested Senator James Ebiowu Manager in Abuja this evening. Senator James Manager who is representing Delta South senatorial district was arrested at about 11pm on Wednesday in Abuja after escaping the siege mounted on his residence in Warri by officials of the EFCC. His arrest is not unconnected with an allege N 5billion curruption case instituted against him by the Presidential Investigation Panel for the recovery of public properties headed by Okoi Obono-Obla. Senator James Manager was accused of acquiring properties worth over N5 billion located within and outside the shores of this country with government funds. Sharareporters gathered that his arrest was as a result of a pettition written to the Federal Government panel by the conduct and due process group calling for the probe and prosecution of the law maker. According to a member of the group who simply identify himself as Justice, it is a known fact that James Manager, through NDDC amassed wealth through sharp practices and currupt manner as well as contract grabbing with name of cronies. They had requested the federal government to confisticate the properties curruptly acquired by James Manager which are scattered all over Delta, Abuja and the United States of America. They include: a mansion in USA , KFT event centre in Warri( the biggest event centre in Delta), Bendel Estate Warri, a mansion in Apo area of Abuja worth over N500 million, as well as filling stations in Delta State among others. As at the time of filling this report , the PDP is making frantic effort to secure his bail before the presidential and national assembly elections which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 16th February 2019 .

In urhobo land our boys are called armed robbers and kidnappers and they are killed daily but in the coaster areas, the kidnappers are called militants and sea pirates and they are paid monthly. Is this not injustice to urhobo kidnappers. President awarded pipeline contract to ijaw militants but he refuse to award same to urhobo militants that was why criminal elements in urhobo land blew a gas pipeline recently to tell the dumbo that they have capacity to destroy oil facilities in their land. for peace to reign Buhari should put a stop to all forms of patronage of criminals in the name of amnesty otherwise urhobo youths will create more problems for him.

Amnesty program is not supposed to be continous without end. Are they undergoing training for ten years. The truth is that other ethnic groups in the Niger Delta who represents 90 percent of the population of Niger Delta are against the amnesty because it is designed by Ijaws implemented by Ijaws for Ijaws alone. I said that Ijaws are minority in the Niger Delta but some of you disagree with me but the results of the presidential election from Bayelsa vindicated my position. They make so much noise because of Jonathan. Well I blame OBJ for hand picking the dullest Niger Delta PHD holder as Vp to yaradua. THE SECRET IS THAT THEY ARE NOT READY TO LEAVE THEIR BILLIONS AND GO BACK TO THE CREEK TO FIGHT AND THEY DON'T HAVE WILLING BOYS TO USE ANY MORE BECAUSE THE BOYS HAVE REALIZED THAT THE FIGHT IS FOR THEIR SELFISH INTEREST.

Don't ever try to continue with the amnesty program. if Buhari tries that, we law abiding citizens in Niger Delta will take up arms against Buhari government. our problem is not amnesty but job creation, electricity and massive development of the oil producing areas. The amnesty program is one of the reason we worked against Jonathan. If he had allowed us to vote freely in the Niger Delta, the results would have been different. militants should go to school or learn hand work.

Voters were on queue before the president came. Were they waiting for the jammers to arrive before the commencement of accreditation?

After watching how GMB and wife voted using one card reader in few seconds, one would have expected that the president's accreditation would have been faster owing to the fact that I NEC and his protocol officers would have been on ground to test run the equipment to ensure a hitch free accreditation. however I know that this will happen but what I didn't envisage is that the PDP will be foolish enough to jam as much as four card reader before allowing the fifth one to pass. First, let me say that the probability that all four card readers that were previously tested before deployment will fail does not exist. another factor is that card readers to be deployed to the president's unit will have been tested and authenticated by no other person but the REC himself. If there is any polling unit where card reader is not expected to fail, it is that unit 13. The I NEC staff operating the card reader appears to be seeing that machine for the first time. The way she received the card from the president shows that she doesn't know what to do with the card. channels TV reporter was afraid to report exactly what was going on there and he pretended that he did hear the questions put across to him, even when they were repeated, his answers were incoherent as if he was held hostage at gun point.

WHILE WAITING FOR THE PRESIDENTS ANSWER, MY ANSWER IS THAT THEY WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE THEIR ORCHEATRATED FAILURE OF THE CARD READER IN ORDER TO JUSTIFY THEIR INITIAL REJECTION OF THE CARD READER. I AM IN PDP BUT I WANT CHANGE.

The militants /ex militants as Jonathan want us to believe are not from Warri south west Local government where the project is sited. They are from Burutu local government. They have no connection with the project. Jonathan has a plan to relocate the project to Bayelsa State. Deltans are aware of the plan and we shall stop him with our votes.

Those militants who shot at Ogidigben are Jonathans boys. He pays them salary every month through the amnesty office. He just gave them another contract last week plus the war ship he bought for them. I was reliably informed that the boys took instruction from Jonathan to attack Ogidigben. Shame to the worst president in Africa.

Delta people will roll back Jonathan with their votes. Jonathan is a cancer that should be rejected by all Nigerians. Roll back Jonathan like the malaria parasite. He is a problem to us in the Niger Delta. Terrorist president.

EPZ Postponement; Jonathan is insane. I now have more reasons to believe that the president is insane for hiring militants on his payroll to fire warning shot to create an atmosphere of insecurity in order to justify the postponement of EPZ ground breaking for the third time. It is not about Itsekiri or Ijaw, it is about Delta . This is a project that will create jobs for Deltans and impact positively on Nigeria's economy. I feel very sad for a president from Niger Delta to behave like this. I can only conclude that the president is insane. Mr. President please give me one reason why Deltans should vote for you.

The Federal University of Petroleum Resource Effurun (FUPRE) in Delta State, Nigeria was established and approved by the Federal Executive Council meeting of 14 March, 2007 and admitted its first set of undergraduates in 2008.
The university was established under the Federal Government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized university in the Niger Delta to produce manpower and expertise for the oil and gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.
The University operates a collegiate system.
The National Universities Commission(NUC) approved sharing of facilities between the Petroleum Training Institute Effurun and FUPRE until it moves to its permanent site on development of its main campus at Ugbomro,Uvwie Local Government Area. The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Effurun, Delta state serves as the temporary campus of the University.

I just cant stop laughing at those who said that entry criteria is what makes the university better than the polytechnics. The irony is that there are so many people with 7distiction and one credit at WAEC level in the polytechnics. Others. Said the quality of lecturers are different but most of the lecturers in the polytechnics were trained in the universities. Are they saying that those lecturers were not given quality education by the university to be able to train poly students? The truth is that we are a backward nation that is why we openly celebrate boko haram and militants. Can any one here tell me the difference between engineering and technology? If the difference is mathematics then the HND and B Tech are the same because the new HND curriculum in engineering treat all aspect of mathematics and focus more on its application. It is just like discriminating between some one who read pure mathematics and another who read applied mathematics. Technology is simply applied engineering , that is just the difference. Not that one is inferior to another. I know a lot of BSC holders are ignorant about this fact. Rather than go into research to understand the difference, they exhibit their ignorance in a public forum . Most lecturers in the polytechnics with university degrees are people who have worked in industries who are exposed to practical knowledge . You cannot graduate from the university and just become a lecturer in the polytechnic. How will you cope. You must be able to demonstrate what you are teaching practically.

How Hon. Victor Ochie deceived his fellow lawmakers and used his company to siphon monies allocated to the Delta State House of Assembly.
The controversial speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Victor Ochie whose company Dave Notch Ltd. is handling the Delta State Independent Power Plant Ogharefe has again been accused of deceiving the state house of assembly members and siphoning monies allocated to the state house of assembly by the state government to pay backlog to contractors and execute projects within the assembly complex.
Apart from renovating his official residence with the sum of 88million, the speaker was said to have awarded all contracts in the state house of assembly to his company called Peculiar consult. A source in the state house of assembly who spoke to us on condition of anonymity disclosed that the speaker deceived his fellow law makers that jobs awarded to them are delayed and poorly executed . He told them that hence forth, jobs in the assembly complex will be awarded to consultants who are professionals in those areas. Unknown to the law makers that Peculiar Consult which he brought in to execute all jobs in the assembly complex is his personal company. He thereafter dissolved the tenders board which was headed by the deputy speaker and awarded all jobs in the assembly complex to Peculiar Consult without job order and BOQ. It is the responsibility of the tenders board to give job order and make request to ministry of housing to prepare BOQ. In the absence of the tenders board, Hon. Victor Ochie awarded contracts to his company at any amount he deemed necessary. This account for the disparity between the cost of renovating the speakers's official residence and other lawmakers.
Some lawmakers interviewed over the issue stated that they didn't know that the speaker was fooling them all this while. They all spoke in unison that all the jobs being executed by the speakers company in the assembly complex and the legislative quarters have no award letter. They maintained that the house has a tradition of not paying debt, adding that there are debt which date back to 2007. They said the former speaker set up a committee in which Hon. Victor Ochie was a member some time ago to ascertain the debt burden and other liabilities of the house and submit report to the governor. The governor subsequently released money for the payment but the speaker decided to embezzle the money and used the balance to pay for jobs recently executed by his company (Peculiar Consult). Whereas jobs executed since 2007 that necessitated the release of the fund were not paid for.
Some PDP lawmakers also accused the speaker of sponsoring opposition party members against them. They cited the case of the member representing Ughelli South constituency Hon. Talib Tebite and his closest rival of the DPP as an example of where the speaker allegedly sponsor a DPP law maker against his PDP counterpart.

Ochie has gone underground to evade arrest by EFCC

It is this thinking that make him to see himself as god and decided to renovate his house with 88million while other legislators like him did theirs with 6million
