@Win7 ,I just got my 50% scholarship for a non thesis masters program at EMU...What next shud i do...theres no document stating the exact amount i am to pay with respect to the 50% scholarship.What is the payment procedures?

wip7: Basically, the thesis based option has more research, while the non-thesis has more classes. However, ALL master’s students must conduct some sort of research or project.

Thesis students will conduct a research project, which will likely involve less courses and these students must write a thesis, which is likely to be published depending on the graduation requirement of the concerned school. The thesis option is for students who wish to get a background in intense research, such as students who are going to pursue a Ph. D., or students who will be conducting research.

Non-thesis option is designed to be more flexible and is tailored for students who don’t necessarily need a great deal of research training. Non-thesis students will take more hours of electives than thesis students, but they take fewer hours of research credit. Non-thesis students still must do Project. Luniyi_Glo: No problems my brother, that's what the NL community is for. . .  If you let me know your current situation (where you are at) I can give you the best steps to take next.  All hope isn't lost, but if you still wanna ship the CH please MARKET, MARKET, MARKET!!!  I cannot stress this enough.  The ideal scenario for a starter would have been an R Model (1980s) or a tipper (Dump truck) in Lagos or PH.  With a CH you have to be very patient, I could send you a link to two or three NL-ers that have posted a CH truck on NL since Nov and still hasn't sold (regardless of how low the price was dropped). If you didn't buy the CH for a "steal" price then you might wanna either:

(i). Chalk this up as a learning experience, you can still ship it and try and sell it, but if anyone offers you a price that will give you somewhat of a profit, go for it. . .
(ii). Before you ship the truck, (if you have the money) buy a tipping trailer and send them both together and PUT THAT TRUCK TO WORK!!!  If you did, I could give you some advice. . .  Believe me, if I could do it over again (not entirely, but ending of last year) I would have made the move to put the trucks to work rather than selling.  I don't know what your entourage situation is like in Nigeria but to put the trucks to work you have to have a small entourage (not many at all, just a few) for oversight and a darn good reliable mechanic, these are the only drawbacks.

Anyway, I have exhausted my NL time today so I shall add more tomorrow. . .

PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS. I have a forum for my school and my aim is to display 20 to 30 posts on the screen at a time just like nairaland.com ,so that even if my visitors doesnt want to register,they can see and read people's post that is showing on the home page.please look at nairaland home page, u will see recent posts abt 50 posts.
Now my question is how can i display most of the forum post in my home,ie i will have upto 40 recent posts on the home page,so that ppl can read them directly just like nairaland.com
