HOW TO CALCULATE UR POINT

Total pt = (O'L result % + UTME score %)/2

where O'L result % = ( sum of pts in 5 relevant subjects )/ 30 x 100.

UMTE score % = (ur utme score) / 4


A1 = 6 pts
B2 = 5
B3 = 4
C4 = 3
C5 = 2
C6 = 1

NB: few points will be added for candidates from educationally less develop states & candidates from catchment states.

If after decades of Web development skills becoming commonplace, this very important organisation (a key control point in our education ladder) cannot deploy simple browser- based document protection tools, why are we blaming recruiters of tightening controls at their own ends?.. Access to check result on waec website was denied frm arnd 11am on tuesday till early morning on wednesday. A reliable source frm waec office later disclosed that it became necessary for waec to filter out & withhold results of some students whose exam fees have not bn paid by some state governments. Most students frm state owned public secondary schools sat for 2016 may/june exam free of charge since d state govts pay. The results were witheld urgently becase students have started using them to pursue admission into higher institutions. pls go & recheck ur result to confirm whether u are affected.

B4 waec site was shut down, it ws discovered that some students ignorantly purchased invalid/used e-pin (paper printed pin). Hence, only scratch card is accepted. Be informed!
