#Word for the Day!

Knowing the times we are in - the era of the last deception; Christians are encouraged by Scriptures to grow in the knowledge and truth of the Word of God. The enemy of our soul is putting forth great deceit to put down the faith of God's faithful children.

It is a responsibility of faith therefore to equip yourself to be able to discern between the truth and the falsehood being publicized by the antichrist! You need the Word of God!

As humans we need physical food for energy and growth of our body and to sustain our health. We also need the WORD OF GOD, which is the Spiritual Food to nourish and enhance the quality of our soul and relationship with God!

The believer must desire the "Milk of the word" and the Shepherd ought to daily refresh the flock of Christ with the undiluted content of God's word!

FREEDOM FROM THE GUILT OF SIN.

Why do we need to confess and forsake our sins? What is the key to spiritual prosperity and divine peace?

The importance of confessing and forsaking our sins cannot be overemphasized. There is power in the Blood of Jesus Christ to liberate you from the shackles of sin and fill your life with divine peace. However, this can only be yours when you confess your sins and receive power and mercy to forsake all forms of unrighteousness.

There is good news! We have an assurance from our ever-loving Father, that when we confess and forsake our sins, we will receive forgiveness.

GOD'S UNCHANGING PRINCIPLES: THE QUESTION OF MORALITY IN THE WORLD TODAY.

God's standards/commandments are not subject to societal or cultural changes. The commandments of God has never been the problem, but sin! Jesus Christ died to take away sin from our lives, and not to abolish the law.

Christ's sacrifice on the cross did not remove our responsibility of obeying God's laws. Yes, we are saved by His grace and not our own power, but we have not become lawless by our salvation. God's commandments are for our own benefit; to guide us and help us guard our heart from the evils and immorality that abounds in the world today.
