Hello everyone,

We want to formally inform the community that we are permanently stopping the weekly giveaway on Nairaland.

We originally chose Nairaland to build in public, share progress, and engage in meaningful conversations around what we are building. The giveaway was never the core objective, it was only a secondary effort to support engagement, not the foundation of our presence here.

Due to the direction things have taken, we’ve decided that:
• All giveaways will no longer happen on Nairaland, permanently.
• We will continue giveaways on other platforms such as Instagram and X, where participation is tied to real, identifiable accounts rather than faceless profiles.
• A clear structure for how rewards will be earned and distributed will be announced on those platforms.
• We are also handing over all PR and community engagement to a dedicated team, allowing us to focus fully on building and execution.

We appreciate those who contributed constructively and followed the journey for the right reasons. Updates may still be shared here from time to time, but giveaways on Nairaland have ended permanently.

Yes, it will be a random selection.

We understand that there may be concerns about foul play, but we will proceed with Cyndy, provided there is no evidence against them before COB.

For next week, the 4th comment will receive the money.

In the meantime, we will work on a more transparent and verifiable method for random selection going forward.

Our founding team has expanded. We now have four new highly experienced members, including two airline captains, one of whom is a former CEO of a North America–based airline.

I just came across this beautiful thread, and I'm truly inspired that Nigeria has bright young minds that are still trying to create impactful ventures despite the many challenges that have plagued us in recent times.

The only thing that yet irritates me about this thread is seeing people scrambling to make non-contributing comments every Sunday midnight. I understand their actions but it's still low-value and irritating in my opinion.

If you believe that Nairaland is home to bright minds who can outthink you and contribute unique ideas that will help enhance your project, and you have chosen to build in public via this platform instead of Twitter, Facebook, or even YouTube, then you have to demonstrate that by the type of activities/contributions you choose to reward.

Anyways, I'm keenly following this thread, as I believe there are a lot of things I could learn from your seeming wealth of experience and the journey of building this project.

We’ve been slowing things down a bit to reassess our direction. From recent discussions and research, it’s looking like there might be a stronger opportunity in starting with cargo operations first.

I’m currently in the US with @ComeBackKing (my co-founder), and once we’ve made our final decision, we’ll share everything in detail.

It’ll be worth your patience.

We can’t apologize enough for the poor communication. We are nearing the end of it. Tomorrow, I will be flying over to Washington/Virgina to meet my cofounder on this for a week. So after that we will be more consistent with communication here.

This means anyone can now read, improve, and contribute directly to the plan, whether it’s refining the market analysis, tightening the strategy, or even just fixing typos and formatting.
