Thanks for the advice.. I ordered it from Jumia and not a claim. Like I said, the issue has been resolved and even using the phone to send this reply and others since.

I finally resolved it by turning off private dns and downloaded the missing security components and the phone is working now. I guess this can be of help to someone out there someday. Thanks everyone!

I'll suggest that if you want to buy phones or gadgets, make sure to get them from recommended outlets. Issues like this can be resolved if you do.

I've contacted Jumia on the issue. They need to be aware and address the issue and also prevent future occurrence. It might end up in a legal redress

Easy buy service allows a lot of people buy phones and pay later it's just that Nigerians as usual are trying to abuse the system by defrauding other unsuspecting Nigerians so this is not easy buys fault it's a case of an attempted scam

Nigeria is a lawless country with no regard for customers. We need to start putting our feet on the ground to seek redress and make sure businesses wake up to the situation of customer satisfaction

I finally found the solution. I turned off private dns and downloaded the missing security components and it installed. The phone is working now. Thanks everyone!

I use a cammon 18 device and it's fully updated but I have never experienced something like this
I think you need to contact where you bought it from

Currently on that..I've seen the way EASYBUY and other loan apps show on the phone. It allows one make calls and use some apps.This one,no notification displaying who to reach out to.I can't even make calls with the phone.

Well..Like you can see,I bought the phone from Jumia(new and fully paid) and opened the pack myself.I've contacted Carlcare and Jumia and working on how to resolve it. If anyone has such issues after upgrading to Android 12 or not can share.

Good day! My Camon 18 has been working well with no issues and have been doing updates since I got it in April,22(bought on Jumia). Not until I got the upgrade notification and decided to do the Android 12 upgrade OTA and after doing that I could'nt use it again, as I was getting notification that it is locked! I made full payment for the phone and did not get it through EASY BUY or any of those ways. Gurus in the house, any insight into this? Please, stay away from the upgrade for now!
