Because not only would you be dissing AAs but West Indians and Afro.latinos as well. If you choose to diss, then please diss Kony as an individual. I don't want to have to bring up some facts on here and make it an all out us vs them thing. Worst of all we are all black here!

@Kony, I know exactly what your problem is brother/sister. I truly would hate to offend you but I sense a bitter tone coming from your posts. Believe me I have been there. Reaching out to Africans only to be given the cold shoulder or verbally reminded that you are a descendant of slaves will definitely cause the best of us to pull away and say "fuk Africa!" but the reality is, by saying so one would be saying "fuk myself!". Whether we like it or not we are who were because of our being of African descent. I will say though, that we are different and have formed our own identities. However, we did not start off on western soil. As I have stated before I have been there and I will agree that the accomplishments made by AAs and other 'slave descendants' are for them to boast and enjoy as Africans really did not have anything to do with most of them but don't use that as a tool to feel superior because at the end of the day by doing so, you stoop just as low as the Africans who dislike you for 'not being poor'. Some Africans will be hateful and that is a result of GUILT and IGNORANCE but a lot more will embrace you. Trust me.

Why must we fight all of the time to prove who is better? Can't we not see this is the same mentality that led to the slave trade, the genocides in Africa and the social-ethnic-color caste systems within our separate communities?
