We do many things with the Nigeria Currency (Naira) Here Are they list of some things you should not do with the naira; 1.Do Not Squeeze The Naira Rather Arrange Neatly In Your Wallet/Pouch – This is common with male traders as for the female traders most of them have pouches , people hawking on the road or traffic and those woman that sells beans cake(akara),yam , potatoes are also guilty of squeezing the naira . it is an offence and it's punishable by law 2. Do Not Deface The Naira i.e Do Not Write Anything On the Naira – Many Atimes , You buy some thing from a shop and you get a change that have ink all over it . some of the write ups make be phone numbers but most of the time it is money value written (like 15,000 or 4,000) and so on . 3.Do Not Spray The Naira – This is common during weddings many people spray money at the bride and groom but it is wrong the right thing to do is package the currency and present it as a gift. 4.Do Not Stain the Naira – Do not keep the naira close to substance that can put stain on it substances like palm oil, ink etc.. 5. Education / 3 Proven Tips For Generating More Creativity In 5 Minutes Or Less by Africanpoint(m): 10:30pm On Nov 13, 2016 |
Creativity has a way of only
finding us when we don’t need it,
doesn’t it?
When it comes down to the times
we need creative thinking and
perspective the most, the mind has
a way of freezing shut – offering
nothing but a painful headache or
unwanted frustration in return for
our best efforts.
The following 3 approaches have
proven themselves to be very
effective when the creative chips
are down. Try one, try them all on
any given day when you need to
think outside the box on an
insurmountable problem that
requires more abstract thinking
than usual. 1.MEDITATION I’ll be the first to admit that the idea of putting myself into a mental trance while assuming some legs crossed, palms-facing-up, seated posture while humming like a patient from an insane asylum is the last thing I think of doing when creativity eludes ..

Celebrities / Nigeria Army Order For 50,000 Made In Aba Boots(shoes) by Africanpoint(m): 10:05pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
This is what we are saying.
No doubt the local industry,
apart from being
encouraged to stay afloat,
will be forced to improve
the quality of it's products
to attract more patronage
from local and external
sources. Of course, so much
foreign exchange which
would otherwise have been
frittered away will be
conserved. One is wont to
appreciate and congratulate
the Senate President, Dr
Bukola Saraki who began
this crusade, a worthy and
commendable initiative. The
Nigerian Army too desrves
no less for yielding to this
clarion call. By the time all
organs of government (the
biggest spender) follow suit
or take a cue so much
would be achieved in forex
savings which will
ultimately firm up the value
of the naira. Let us do away
with the destructive
conspicuous consumption in
automobiles, furniture items
and scores of other items
(luxury goods) on the
import list for just 5 years
or so. The result will be so
astonishing! While our
naira will wax so much
stronger to less than N100
to a US dollar, the local
assembly plants will come
back on stream to create
employment opportunities
and mush-rooming of
anciliary industries too
many to list here. This, in
fact, is the time for Nigeria
to take the bull by the
horns towards real
emancipation from
economic slavery, brain
washing that killed our
initiatives, and lethargy. A
stitch in time saves nine! www.africanpoint.tk

Education / How To Identify Fake Naira Notes by Africanpoint(m): 9:56pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
Con men cannot produce a real naira note. That’s a fact. Even if they can, they can’t produce real note without bloating overhead cost. In view of this, there is always obvious differences between a real naira note and it’s counterfeit. These differences are not hidden; they are there only if you look well enough, even for an untrained eye. You should also avail yourself of the fact that the use of counterfeits is punishable under the Nigerian constitution whether you’re aware or note because “ignorance is not an excuse in the court of law”. Taking advantage of the marked differences between real and counterfeit naira notes, I’m going to list ways you can identity counterfeits 1. Through Mercury Bulbs In the real paper naira notes (₦100, ₦200, ₦500, ₦1000), they are some texts that are not visible to the Unclad eye; they are only visible through the rays from a mercury bulb. So, to verify the authenticity of a naira note, bring the said note in contact with rays from a mercury bulb. If it’s real, you’ll see a greenish- yellow glow of the note’s denomination across it. For example if it’s a ₦1000 note, you’ll see a glowing 1000 (in numbers) written across the note and smaller 1000 written on specific spots on it. The same goes for other paper denominations. If the money is in a stack or bundle and you want to test for counterfeits, arrange the monies (it should be the same denomination all- through) properly (i.e. the front of each note in the bundle in contact with the back of the next note and top to top and bottom to bottom) and subject a side of it to rays from the mercury lamp, the greenish- yellow glow should be visible on the first and last note in the bundle if no counterfeit(s) is hiding in it. In either the single note and the bundle (if properly arranged), absence of this greenish-yellow glow means the note or a note in the bundle is fake. Sorry, I couldn’t get you the picture but the glow is very visible. Make sure to switch-off other light sources so as not to hamper the result. While mercury bulb is available at shops where electrical materials are sold, this method is preferable for business owners or people who handle bulk cash. 2. Through Water Or Other Liquids The colours used in printing counterfeits are soluble in water and some other liquids while that of real money is not. Wet the suspected money or a part of it with water or any other liquid—I have only tried water and petrol—and scrub the wet part with your thumb. Counterfeits will wash-off their colours as you do this but real will not. Do you notice the way the colours of an artwork painted with water-colours wash-off when water touches it? That’s the kind of wash-off I mean. 3. Through The Ribbons On every paper money on the naira is a thin silvery ribbon running from the top to the bottom of the note; it’s roppy on old notes. In real note, you can feel and even pull-out this ribbon on some old notes. However, in counterfeits, there’s something that looks like a ribbon but it’s not— just paint. Try scratching that ribbon, it come off like the silver panel on a recharge card. 4. Paper And Colour Quality While counterfeits are made of ordinary papers, real money is made of a special kind of paper. Fealing the paper-quality of counterfeits, you’ll find out that it’s just like that of paper found on the street. The colours of counterfeits also betrays it. The drawings on counterfeits are more blurry, blotchy and sometimes more darker than real paper money. Of the four methods listed above, the first, second and third is more reliable. source www.africanpoint.tk

Celebrities / 7 Things To Let Go To Enjoy Life More by Africanpoint(m): 3:14pm On Oct 26, 2016 |
Do you feel something in holding you back and you don’t know, exactly what those things are? There is the saying: “ When life gives you lemons make lemonade ,” and that is true. Most times, the way to move forward is to use what you have. However, other times the wisest thing to do is to give up on lemons to make room for something better. Letting go takes courage and confidence that you can do something else. Do you know people that insist on doing something or marching on the same road out of the fear to give up? Digging an even deeper hole for themselves? Enjoy life more by giving up and letting go the following seven things: 1. Negative people A negative person can drain the life out of you. Even though they are not doing it intentionally, nevertheless, the effects can be devastating. Did you know that nocebo has a higher “success” rate compared to placebo? Let go of those people that are dragging you down. If you can help them, do it, but if you can’t, move on. They are not your responsibility. Give yourself permission to be a bit selfish and give up on them. Some lemons are not ripened enough not even for a lemonade. 2. Past negative experiences The charm of life includes, unfortunately, some not so pleasant moments and events. However, there is a value in everything that happens to you, good or bad. Take the lessons and discoveries out of your unpleasant events, experiences and moments and let go of the rest. Concentrate on the present and stay focused on your goals and dreams. What happened, happened. You can’t change the facts of the past, but you can change your emotions and feeling about it. Move on and give yourself the chance to live up to your potential. 3. Being a victim To be honest, it is bothering me to see people that have been victimized in some horrible way, forced to say: “I’m not a victim, I’m a survivor.” Yes, for some people regarding the event that way, helps them to move on. However, there are other people that, before letting go, need the society and their community to acknowledge the devastation and magnitude of what happened to them. If you have been a victim, give yourself the time to heal. Learn more about yourself, your value and worth and know that no matter what happened to you, you can succeed in life in spite of it. 4. Learn to say NO Be assertive, put your foot down and say “yes” only when you feel that is the right thing to do for yourself. Say No to those things that are infringing into your interest, make you feel used or step all over your rights as a human being. Let go saying “yes” to everything and everyone. 5. Trying to be perfect We are subjective beings, and we like what we like and nothing more no matter what you do to those things that we dislike. Be your own person and strive to be happy and fulfilled, let go trying to be perfect for the sake of others. 6. Being pessimistic Pessimism is taking your power to see, notice and acknowledge the good part of thing and people. And even when you do, makes you doubt that the positive part you see will be there too in the future. Yes, most things that seem to be too good to be true are not true indeed. Yet, being optimistic is not about going blindly into believing fantastic things. It is about searching and finding the value and what is right about everything. Like a coin, all the things and people around you have two sides: a good one and a negative one. Go with the good one! 7. Dreams that turned into nightmares Your dreams and aspirations are showing you how great you can be; how many other things you can achieve; how many others things you have to live for. Your dreams can motivate you like almost nothing else. However, that motivation is not always positive. Let go of those dreams that you feel consumed by, night and day and bring you no satisfaction or sense of achievement. Let them go without fear. As you were able to build that dream, you can create many others and better next time. Remember that your life belongs to you and the person you owe everything (protection, safety, understanding, care, love, achievement, etc.) is yourself. more go to www.Africanpoint.tk |
