With Twitter’s encrypted end-to-end direct messaging, no hacker or government agency can intercept users’ DMs.

How to Send Secure DMs on Twitter

For now, Twitter’s encrypted end-to-end direct messaging is only available to a few users, and this is for testing purposes. Note that Whatsapp and other messengers like Apple iMessage have beefed-up communications similar to Twitter’s encrypted end-to-end direct messaging, but Twitter’s is different because all your communications are not encrypted by default like in others.
