FashionRe: African Women No Longer "Believe Black Is Beautiful" -by Sede Alonge by AfricasSon: 5:57am On Mar 21, 2015
I believe this has to with the level of self hate that not only black people have but people of color have in general they're are forced this image of what is beautiful and whats not if they are not close to white or white at all then it's not right we must stop being brainwashed into believing that we are less than anyone else and that we must conform to white or eurocentric beliefs of whats beautiful basically we must decide for ourselves and define for ourselves who and what we are stop being the white people's puppets and be the masters of our own fate it's sort of like black people and people of color period suffer from post traumatic stress disorder not trying to make fun of that disorder but that's what it seems like black people don't seem to understand that the western world fears black people especially intelligent and properly educated powerful black people the ones who have not learned by western standards but have truly dug deep enough and have navigated through all the bullshit and has put the puzzle together people like Malcolm X, Huey P. Newton, Marcus Garvey, Angela Davis, Fredrick Douglass, Assata Shakur, Tupac Shakur and even various Hispanic Revolutionaries such as Che Guevara and Carlo Montes which is why most people are not thought about these great people in western academia it's what they fear the most knowledge is power.

I agree that's how I always seen it the nilotic and cushtic people have a common ancestral bloodline which is pretty evident but most on both sides nilo or cushite would never admit to that both have similar features and some have completly different features but are more related than they actually realize it but i don't believe that the difference in skin tone an hair textures means ones more or less mixed than the next but simply environmental adaptions i believe that whoever the original ancestral bloodline they descended from split they developed their own unique features and looks yet still share similarities between them phenotypically and culturally and depending on where they live and how they live they are going to share those similarities. Sorry if this is late to the topic i just never heard anyone who shares the same idea on that too.
Hello Pagan Welcome to The thread.

The cushtic are Related To The Nilotic People, Most Kushtic People Today are mixed with other race or within themselves. Nilotic people are the most Unmixed Group in africa, 3000 or 4000 Years ago Most of the kushtic groups would have been in similar position. There is even Nilotic Groups who speak a cushtic Language today and at many Tribes who are Nilo and kushtic Mix. None more Visible today than in The omo Valley In Ethiopia (Omotic People/Tribes) Some Look Nilotic But speak cushtic language and some look Kushtic but speak a nilo Language. Also The features are the same if you look carefully Both Kusthtic and Nilotic have Long Neck, Head shape is similar, they are both tall (Nilotic slightly taller) But kushtic are more mixed these days so their shade is lighter. Beside All East Nilotic Language is today Known as Hamitic-Nilo Languages Because it was Created By mixing Nilo langauge and a hamitic language (In particular Kushtic).

Here is a picture Of anuak Nilo... I can Mistake Him easily for a Kushtic person , His features is not far off from how a kushtic would look like.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Does The Whole World Think That The Negro Is Inherently Stupi..d? by AfricasSon: 3:53am On Mar 20, 2015
Let me explain to you a little something first thing is we as black people across the world are not inherently inferior in any sense of the word nor do I believe in the word or term negro caucasian or mongoloid we have a long and varied, diverse and complex history and as such the idea of us even being inferior stems from the ideas of eurocentric and the western world bias idea of what and who we are yet has been proven wrong on every count the media and propaganda spread has led many to believe that we are incapable of anything great yet choose to ignore the fact that we have done so much great things that it would take forever to go down the list of what has been done. The reason that there are black people today some but not all that are living in such bad conditions and are poor is the situation they had no choice in now not that it can't be overcome or fixed but its quite a difficult and complex situation for them a'lot of black people and people of color period are living in terrible conditions and those situations were caused by the government and a white dominated society that believes if it's not white it's not right not all whites are to blame but they live on white privilege and would not understand our complex communities and history we must do for ourselves and not rely on white people to fix the problem because they do not want to adress the fact they have caused the bullshit which surrounds us today.

CultureRe: Cushitic people the most beautiful people on Earth by AfricasSon: 7:29pm On Mar 18, 2015
The nilotic and cushtic people have strong dna my brother if anything the people currently living in the middleeast have a mixture of all people today so somewhere in there is the nilotic and cushtic bloodline which is evident if you look at the people of Yemen and the countryside of Saudi Arabia they have similar cultural affinities and even phenotypes so the genes are in no way weak or inferior at all knowledge my brother.
RomanceRe: "Black Guys Finish Last" by AfricasSon: 7:19am On Mar 17, 2015
First off i have to say being that i am a black American man i can tell you firsthand that there are many Successful and Strong Independent Black Men here in America who aren't rappers and basketball players just like with anything else there is going to be issues here and there in our communities. The problem here is you seem to believe what media has to say about black people when they do nothing but lie or don't tell you the whole story in America and around the world they pretty much try to push this idea that black culture is monolithic and limited when in reality it's more diverse and larger than anyone expects also the black community always receives unfair bias against us in America but for those of you who don't understand how America works you would never understand until you experience it firsthand and then there is the black community itself it is probably the most diverse and most complex communities in not just America but in the world so not all blacks are ghetto hoodrats selling drugs and running the streets but there also rich successful business owners and CEO's of corporations and lawyers and doctors from all parts of the black community they don't tell you about that and most blacks that live in hoods and do sell drugs never asked to live like that but when thats all they know its understandable why it's like that sometimes but we are still moving up anyways most of American culture is derived from the black experience in America me personally I don't judge those who have to adapt to their situations to survive. I accept the positives and negatives of my people and move forward but not without reflection on whats going on and how it happened and what I can do to change it so other brothers and sisters may have a chance that many of us still don't have or didn't get so no not all black men are irresponsible I rest my case good day.
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Was A Black Man by AfricasSon: 11:24pm On Mar 15, 2015
While i see where you're trying to get at I agree and also partly disagree yes It is true if you go back in biblical and Qur'anic and even Judaic scriptures or text and even historical text the descendants of Noah Ham,Shem,Japeth are all described as being of darkskin which is how I usually define black as and it's also known that the descendants of ham and shems lines intermarried exclusively until they were indistinguishable as was seen when moses was raised as an Egyptian despite being an Israelite and even the story of Jesus and his family blending in amongst the Egyptians now i don't but into the negro caucasian and mongoloid bs because it has no historical meaning and background. I don't believe that anyone group of people have a monopoly on features its just human features and being that Africa itself is the cradle of mankind it makes sense that Jesus is a descendant of Africans as well and honestly science and scriptures go hand and hand and can both actually beneifit each other so yes he is a dark skinned or brown skinned man similar to people you would see in yemen and on the country side of Saudi arabia living a more nomadic life but not black african in the sense you are thinking of just thought i would drop in with my opinion.
CultureRe: Meet The Most Beautiful People On Earth- The Fulanis by AfricasSon: 1:57am On Mar 13, 2015
Omarbah:
Before Islam, fulani pastoralists practiced an initiation called Kumen and whenever they gave sacrifices, they would to do to ask Geno( the Eternel, GOD in the fulani culture) a favor. There was a sort of priest in each fulani camp that was initiated to interpret signs and advise de Ardo( head of the camp) on what they are supposed to do to keep themselves and the cattle safe.
Kumen was a sort of boyscout thing with a touch of spiritualism. One would study how to care for the milk, how to properly make an altar, what are the different tools that one will need, how to interpret signs from nature etc...The Pullo( fulani child) would learn the different clans of fulani, what is their significance, how a cow of a certain fur texture is different from others.
As Fulanis started settling they embraced Islam. The first ones to do so were those of Tekrur, a state that existed in Northern Senegal around the end of the first millenium. Pastoral fulanis were progressively converted by their brothers through peace or wars as did Seku Ahmadu.
Islam brought more peace and cohesion among fulanis. It is a people that loved fighting...way too much lol.
Kumen huh i have to look this up and study and see what else i can learn from this thanks for the info and may peace with you my brother.

Fulaman198:
OmarBah and myself were discussing that as he is a Fulani from Guinea (Fouta Djallon). We are not 100% sure, because we have been Muslims for a very long time, but we are trying to find that out. Right now, all Fulani groups regardless of how much Islam is practised are 99% Muslim. There have been some attempts by missionaries to brainwash Fulani people into becoming Christians (mainly whites trying to do this), but it has not been too effective.

The real answer to your question is, there are some present day Fulbe groups like the Mbororo'en who do indeed practise Islam less than other Fulbe groups. Those Fulbe that still live in the ladde (bush) don't practise Islam as much nor care for it as much as those who have settled down permanently in residential areas.
I see thanks for the information and knowledge take it easy my brother.

Fulaman198:
No, because all it is is B.S. we are Sahelian West Africans and the most nomadic people in the world. Also, it's considered a taboo for a Fulani to mix with others. So mixing with whites never occurred. At least one white male told the truth in this video:

Thanks the fulani are one of the most interesting people to me one more question if you don't mind me asking but what exactly are the fulanis pre-Islamic beliefs and is there any groups of fulani who still practice those beliefs.
CultureRe: Pictures From Soon To Be Yoruba Village In London!!! by AfricasSon: 5:13am On Mar 12, 2015
Nice it reminds me a bit of China Town actually hopefully it can retain the culture of the people instead of someone coming in and exploiting the people and their cultural heritage yet still be accepting of outside people.

Wodaabe and other Mbororo'en are supposedly the purest of the Fulani
Yes I've heard which poses the question now you yourself are a mbororo am i right and my main question is do the wodaabe buy into the whole Caucasian hamitic bs or are they there own community who are unique to themselves and others.

Some ethiopians might speak Semetic language but that is not a race. The people in the horn are all related and have a common ancestor thus the reason why they look similar in appearance and have a common history.
Whats you said is true and remember if you actually look back in history the Middle East was and still partly is connected to Africa mainly the Sahara places such as Yemen,Saudi Arabia were inhabited in earlier times by peoples of Cushitic and Nilotic background also Cushites once inhabited whats now known as Iraq so they're everywhere keep the topic going and ignore the trolls who are trying to derail your thread.

One thing I have noticed about the nomadic Wodaabe they have a very diverse bone structure that's out of this world very beautiful and well defined it seems more unique to other people's around the world period it's very interesting to me at least but i believe it's indigenous and native to them and has nothing to do with foreign admixture they tend not to mix with people outside of their ethnic group which I have to say I really respect about them they stick to their culture.
