How I Was Brutalised And Shot At By Retired Chief Of Naval Staff, Usman Oyibe J.


Precisely on the 4th of April 2016  the wife of former chief of naval staff Mrs  Usman Oyibe Jibrin threatened to send her stooges after me to deal with me, these threats were issued after I put a call to her concerning my piece of land, with  the description : Plot no. 96 of about 1500m2 at Gbazango Extension scheme Kubwa , which she & her husband Admiral  Usman Oyibe Jibrin asked their boys to fence without my knowledge & permission.

 Immediately after her threats one naval officer Ali Abdulsallam started sending me empty text messages & every attempt to get him to pick my calls failed. later on one Dauda called me & threaded that he will get me that night.  On the 8th April 2016 at about 1pm I received a call from my supervisor that some officers who refused to divulge their identity has stopped work at my site & threatened to hand cuff workers & carry them away. Coincidentally the number my supervisor sent turned out to be the phone number of naval officer Ali Abdulsallam who's being sending me empty text messages, Ali Abdulsallam kept insisting that I should come to the site with my land documents despite my asking that we meet before a relevant authority , he kept insisting I come to the property with my document , i eventually agreed to meet with them at the site after I had laid an official complaint  at Kubwa divisionall police station & police  patrol team dispatched to accompany me to the site & invite  them to the station .After inspector Sunday heard both parties he said we should all wait for his suppirior  officer , while we were waiting I remember that my car was unlock & that I had some valuable documents, i left to be sure that they were still intact, as soon as I started  approaching my car, I noticed naval officer Okon JJ .whispering  something into the ear of an Armed naval officer , who started  closing in on me, he then cut up with me while  I was seated in my car & because the car parked at my right hand side was too close to mine he couldn't come into the car. With his gun pointed at me he commanded me to drive out gently or else he'll shoot me. As soon as I reversed the car he started shooting at me at random & in that panic stricken state I drove off but couldn't make a good distance because the bullets had deflated my front right tire, & damaged my car engine . 

I was dragged out of my car by  some plain clothes naval men who started beating me & later on the detailed personnel to retired chief of naval staff Jibril Usman Oyibe Jibrin Moses Kembi, officer Ali Abdulsallam , Okon JJ & their Lawyer joined them in beating me & subsequently forced me into their Lawyer's car. However at the entrance of their staff quarters , while contemplating on what to do to me a call came in from the area commander via my supervisor's phone & commanded to bring me back to the station .At this point the detailed personnel to retired chief of naval staff, Moses Kembi asked the  gun man to alight  & enter into their quarters & remain there.With the other naval offices dispersed, the detailed personnel, Moses Kembil & the acclaimed lawyer then took me back to the police station. 

At the station, the acclaimed  lawyer's was obtained under caution  but Moses Kembi refused to give statement to the police on the ground that he was a naval officer  & was detained by the police.  After statements were obtained from me & my car towed to the station,  looking at my condition, I was asked by the police to go to the hospital for treatment.In spite of the pain incurred from the beating and the trauma of the gun shots, I couldn't make it to hospital until the next day, Presently I am receiving treatment at the federal medical centre jabi Abuja.


 The Police released their lawyer after taking his statement, however the Detailed personnel to the former chief of naval staff Usman Oyibe Jibrin, Moses kenbi refuse to give his statement to the police & was detained. I later found out that Moses Kembi was no longer in their custody, when and who he was released I can not tell. Consequent to the petition written by my lawyer to the present naval chief of staff, their Provost on the 14th April 2016 sent a naval officer  to Area command Kubwa to ascertain rhe genuineness of our allegation .

 The police is yet to invite the former chief of naval staff and his wife, naval officer Ali Abdulsallam ,naval officer  Okon JJ and Moses Kembi is yet to produce the gunman. From the attitude of the police I perceive conspiracy, which explains why they have halt investigation and are desperately urging me to meet  with Jibrrin''s Lawyer to discuss the settlement of my bullet ridden
car.it is obvious that they are determined on destroying available  evidence. I suspect that the police has been induce to make this case less grevious . simply put Sir the  police is subtly coerceing me to settle.


It will interest every one to know that after I discovered the encroachment on my property, I wrote a complaint to the director Development Control, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, on 16th of October 2915,  intimating them of the trespass. Consequently , the afore described property was marked by the Kubwa District Office and notice served on same day being 18th of November 2015 . in the course of my private investigation Officer Okon JJ, who happen to be the manager of the Jibrrins hotel situate at Gbazango Kubwa confirmed the receipt of the notice served by Kubwa District Office demanding for the Jubrins tittle documents. And I asked him why they didn't respond Okon JJ could not give any coherent reason for the contempt. 

Six days after the murder/abduction failed being the 14th of April 2016, the District Office again marked for demolition and a second notice served still demanding for their tittle documents. It will interest everyone to know that rather than ignoring the notice as usual which would have been more honorable, their Lawyer Ikemefuna Mojume through a means which he only can tell, got hold of the copy of the petition I wrote to EFCC informing the authority of my suspicion (that I fear that my original land papers entittling Plot no. 96 of about 1500m2 at Gbazango Extension Scheme Kubwa to me has been cloned,  imploying the commission to invite the Jibrrins and one Dauda to explain their source and submit their land papers to enable the commission send both our documents to the relevant authority for authentication). 

This barrister Ikemefuna Mojume pride stunningly brought out before my lawyer,my  humble self and two others. Worthy of note is that as at this time my petition was yet to be approved by the EFCC. Barrister Ikemefuna Mojume tauntingly told my lawyer to advice me to quickly accept whatever they decide to offer me or else it will be big man talk to big man and the matter will be swept under the carpet, that my pitching against his team is like an ant challenging an elephant to a fight. 

Although I have received my life back in a figure through Gods intervention yet I and every member of my household are daily  living in fears not knowing what their next move against me will be. I am using this medium to ask all that reads this article to join me to  pray the  Police to do their duty without fear or favor Police protection is one  of my human rights among others.

It was another free for all fight at the National Assembly recently when the staff of the Deputy Senate President, Dalingston Udeh disrupted  ‎the inauguration of National Assembly Aides Forum after a successful election won by Sam Melaye.

‎National Assembly Legislative Aide constitution stipulates that the Clerk of the house has constitutional right to call for congress and conduct election within the armpit of the law. Due to persist court cases and distraction 8th assembly, which necessited delays, another faction led by Dalingston Udeh conducted a kangeroo election less than 60 members as against the over 200 members at the Sammy Melaye victory dully conducted by the Clerk and leadership of the 8th assembly. 

At the inauguration of the elected officers who won after the dissolution of the caretaker committee and successful conduction of‎ the congress and election, Dino Meleye younger brother and his executives  who won were attacked and event dirupted at the personal conference room of the Deputy Senate President.

It was indeed a show of shame as properties and chairs worth millions were recklessly destroyed in a practical mortal combat speared by Udeh and thugs.  ‎They also further assaulted a sergent of arm at the complex as the fight continued embarrassingly at the lift where they seek to exhibit their legislative superority

Popular Abuja based comedian Fred Bright Ofoma has buried his father Late Pa Ozo Chief Peter Chukwu Ofoma recently, who died on the 10th of December, 2015 at the age of 121 years old.

The burial ceremony which was held at his hometown at Oduma Village in Aninri local government area of Enugu state attracted the high and mighty in the showbiz industry.

It was indeed a celebration of a life well spent especially with regards to his age and the ceremony held to honour the departed.

The outspoken Fred Bright is the last child out of 11 children ‎who was said to be very close to his late father.

The Maiden Edition of Ekiti State Excellence Award and Gala night held recently at Nanet Suite, Abuja attracted Ekiti sons and daughters as well as Abuja residents.

In a bid to keep the  performing musicians employers association of Nigeria (PMAN) FCT chapter ahead of its contemporary in the industry, the association during its usual general meeting held on the 31st March 2016 at Rita Lori Hotel Garki, Abuja unanimously and formally endorsed the deputy governor, Solomon NDA-Isaiah as the PMAN Governor, FCT chapter following the resignation of Collins Adeyemi who was the erstwhile governor.

It all started after the secretary Mr Vincent Omoko aka Cent Moko finished reading the programme of the day when, King FAJ, a former chairman of the association called the house to order by raising a motion that it will not be fair to still address Mr Solomon Nda-Isaiah aka Original Orokoman as deputy when the governor, Mr Collins Adeyemi had tendered his resignation.

That was when the Secretary of the association, Cent Moko called on King Waleman, a former national 1st vice president who was also present at the meeting to conduct an election. And a vote of confidence was unanimously passed on Mr Solomon Nda-Isaiah as the governor PMAN FCT chapter. He was immediately sworn in by King Waleman .

In his acceptance speech, Mr Solomon who doubles as the group entertainment editor of LEADERSHIP Newspapers Group promised to work diligently for the upliftment of the association and for the benefit of all musicians adding that he was ready to put in his time,resources, energy and contact to see to the success of the association . He also stressed the need for bringing in all aggrieved members together so that the great association could get back its lost glory.

His words: "I contested as the chairman of PMAN FCT in 2014 but lost to Makossa Queen. I had wanted to lead the PMAN FCT Chapter because of the big plans I have for the Abuja music scene and musicians. But due to some factors, I couldn't really achieve that at that point. But I later bounced back 10-years later to win the deputy governor position of the association. I am here on a rescue mission...It's time to face reality. I don't believe in talking too much, I believe in action and I need the full cooperation of all the musicians in Abuja in order to revamp the industry. I promise to do all within my powers and with God by my side , we are going to move PMAN FCT Chapter to greater heights" he promised.

Also reacting, the PMAN Secretary,  Mr Vincent Omoko aka Cent Moko congratulated the new governor and pledged his undying support stressing that members should support the new governor to move the  association foward.

The last has not been heard of the litany of scandals involving the immediate family of President Buhari and some of his ministers. Reliable sources in the petroleum industry have contacted this paper to expose an alleged extortion racket in the sale and distribution of petroleum products.

An oil marketer has told this paper how Dumebi Kachikwu, brother to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has been using fronts men to collect “up-front payments” in US dollars supposedly to help fund President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 re-election campaign.  According to the source, who doesn’t want to be named due to the sensitive nature of the story, the illegal upfront payment imposed on petroleum product distributors was the prime reason for the persistent scarcity of fuel being experienced all across Nigeria in recent weeks. Further investigations by our reporters indicate these allegations may have basis as they were confirmed by at least two very senior staff of the state-owned Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), of which Dr. Kachikwu doubles as managing Director in addition to his ministerial portfolio.

Last week Wednesday March 23, Dr. Kachikwu had stated at the presidential villa that he was not a magician, and that fuel scarcity would continue in Nigeria for another two months. That statement earned the federal government the ire of the public and led to APC leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu condemning the minister’s “flippancy” and “insult’ on Nigerians. And just a few days ago, the opposition People’s Democratic Party had accused the Wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari of having collected 22 million US dollars from the Central Bank of Nigeria, which she allegedly sold at a huge profit at the black market. Meanwhile, both President Buhari’s nephew Mallam Mamman Daura and Chief of staff to the President, Abba Kyari are well-known associates of the owners of Sahara Oil, according to sources within the oil industry. 

However, what is not known is whether President Buhari himself is aware of these allegations?  Are the family members and Chief of Staff partners in Dumebi Kachikwu’s extortion scheme in the oil industry?  is the wife of the President  Aisha aware of this extortion scheme or a partner. are Mallam Mamman Daura the nephew, Abubakar Samaila Isa the son-in-law, Samaila Isa Fatua, the father-in-law involved? Nigerians are asking the President to please talk to the Nation as we all know that this is contrary to what he stands for? The citizens are waiting, Mr President.

I was approached to join the protest against Emefiele, I initially agreed because I will do anything as a patriotic Nigeria to help save Nigeria. But is Emefiele the problem of Nigeria? Is Emefiele the reason why the price of Oil has fallen? Talk about Bank Charges; which country will you live on the face of the earth and not pay for financial services rendered by the Banks and Federal Reserve responsible for managing its Currencies? 

Emefiele is not a Yoruba Man, does not mean he is weak or is not a professional.  Under the professional leadership of Emefiele, one of the strongest and most reliable banks in Lagos and Nigeria, Zenith Bank got to its height, and this successful achievement recommended him for the CBN job. 

Everything Emefiele had done, he did with requisite approvals from appropriate authorities as a law-abiding pubic servant. When Goodluck Jonathan's Administration requested for fund, after Due Process, to equip the Army to curb the Boko Haram Insurgency, would Emefiele who saw how Boko Haram was revenging Nigerian Economy in the North East say no?  After the release of fund was it the duty of Emefiele to follow the Presidency and the Army to the market to buy arms and also follow the Army to Sambisa to ensure that the arms were bought and used, no? 

Emefiele secretly employed children of the rich without advertising? We just discovered the CBN needed specialist skills and got approval from the Federal Character Commission NOT to advertise and instead to do targeted head hunts. And this is very common in both public and private institutions. Emefiele also got the Commission's Clearance Certificate after the recruitment because they supervised and ensured the FCC principles were followed. 
Moreover the names of the Rich whose children were employed were less in number compared to the names of those also employed who are orphans and who are of common backgrounds. 

If I may ask, is the daughter of Atiku or Arase or others not Nigerians who have right to employment in the CBN if found to be qualified. 

What is the meaning of EMEFIELE? So many people like to call this name everywhere and in everything. EMEFIELE, is like the African Tortoise, no story can be complete without the mention of the role of tortoise. Those who make profit on genuine business will hail Emefiele, those corrupt businessmen who have been buying dollars at N196 CBN price and sell to Nigerians at N400, those who have been buying dollars for payment of school fees abroad and those importating toothpicks with cheap dollars from CBN have met a brick-wall, so they must lead and sponsor protests against Emefiele. 

If I were President Muhammadu Buhari I will reappoint Dr Godwin Emefiele again, for humble, meek, committed, dedicated, loyal and patriotic professionals like EMEFIELE are rear and difficult to find. 
May the Almighty God, the most gracious continue to use Emefiele to articulate the economic policies of President Muhammadu Buhari so that we can begin to enjoy a stable economy and the CHANGE we voted for....
