t seems the very idea of stopping young folks from clumping up together into groups and factions may be non-comprehensive of how the human society functions. Humans are highly social beings, especially so in the years of youthful exuberance. Our ancient Afrikan societies combated this very excessive exuberance and energy of teenagers and young adults, by aligning youths into productive units with the formation of age-grade societies. These age-grade associations have several responsibilities allocated to them by the general society.

So too must our Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges and Institutes align this excess energy and drive of youngsters into productive units. Schools should promote their own instituted confraternities and organizations as a means to unite the students who are responsible to the general campus society. Brotherhood and sisterhood must be encouraged under the right platforms. We must cultivate a new culture on Nigerian campuses.

—Don't travel as a pack of young men… a big No. This is the key part of their profile they're trained to watch out for. Let them be a noticeable elder amongst the crew if you're to travel in numbers. Better still, let women and girls be in the equation. If you let a girl drive you guys, it does wonders. "Beautiful girls" generally don't fit the profile, so this would save you some level of harassment. Remember, always let the driver of the car do the talking. Once convinced that they're communicating with a "boy/girl", these abusive officers subconsciously feel they have the upperhand whenever you fit the first phase of this profile. Na why cases of police abuse of power dey more rampant for cities with higher institutions of learning that are a congregation of young folks.

—Put on a wedding ring; always refer to yourself as "Mr." when asked to introduce yourself (Trust me, this has a powerful subconscious effect on the minds of people you encounter, whoever they are.)

I am private school teacher. As Coronavirus sacked me for house. I took to farm, cleared a tick bush full of trees as d land has been left uncultivated for over 20 years. It's so troubling dt the maize & plantain I planted aren't germinating & growing healthy.

The soil is termite invested dark stoneless loamy soil.

I don't know much about farming. I'll appreciate your advice, Pls. I put a lot of effort, time & cash into this. Yet, I aren't seeing any hope of reaping sth from it. Please, advise me

Farming is a vehicle for both business and Investment. Business in the sense that you are involved combining the factors of production of Land ,labour capital and your entrepreneurial skill and getting returns for all factors employed. While as investment you may buy shares from Quoted Agricultural companies on Nigeria Stock exchange (NSE) such as Okomu Oil, Presco Oil etc and get return on your investment inform of dividend, share appreciation and bonus

It is a business and not investment. It is a business because you have to put in all the factor of production; land, capital, labour, etc. You have to be on ground to hire people, get them trained, even if you won't be on the farm. You have to develop a business plan, feasibility study, even the master plan, vision and mission of your farm, 5 years projections, etc. You are to monitor or develop a system that monitor the activities on the farm, ensure the income of the farm meetup and exceeded the planed income, and if not adjust the plan and farm activities from time to time to be able to meetup with planed income.

On the other side, investments are instruments or other business that you just have your money to work for you. You are not involved in the business in real sense.
