Kamryn Stargell could not hide her joy and gratitude for having been awarded the scholarships as she is now set to pursue her dreams of becoming a medical doctor.

“After all of the hard work we put in applying to them, it was really a breath of fresh air knowing I got into college, if I just got into one of them,” Kamryn said.

There was no time to contemplate any shock. I turned to my Yoruba brother with an expression that asked if he saw what I had just seen. He smiled, brought out a small bottle and drank from it's content, he too vanished into thin air. I was now alone and the fear of death now gripped me. In that loneliness, my heart threatened to tear out of my chest. I looked to the heavens and hoped that God will make me vanish but I knew that was not going to happen.

The rebels drew closer and I could hear their boots shaking the sands beneath me. I got up and ran into a nearby bush and they chased after me with flying bullets. My ear was shot but I soldiered on, all and all in a long race for my life. I had heard of the black magic before but I had doubted it's potency. As I ran, I recalled how I was warned by relatives to be initiated into the dark arts for protection, and how I laughed over it. Regret and determination fueled my race and I soldiered on.

I came upon a banana plantation. The perfect camouflage for my colour. I slid in between and mumbled some prayer. I had a Gideon pocket bible with me so I placed it on my chest and prayed to the almighty to save me. The rebels came running by in troops. Scores by scores they passed until their numbers diminished. Then a single rebel armed with an AK47 passed by, he was the last, he was not even running, he spotted me and came right at with his gun...........

Elephants are known as highly intelligent creatures, yet the massive mammals are not too famous for their agility. Well, at least that we knew! However, a recent footage shows the largest land animal on Earth could be quite nimble, too.

The tourists at the Mfuwe Lodge in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia have witnessed something incredible and so hilarious. An adult elephant has gently climbed over a 5ft wall to steal some mangoes from the safari lodge. Despite its fine moves, the giant’s visit hasn’t passed unnoticed.

“He just chose the most direct route and made himself right at home,” Ian Salisbury, general manager at Mfuwe Lodge told DailyMail. “The guests were very amused at the idea of a climbing elephant. They were in amazement that it would bother to climb over such a high wall. He was a stranger to us. He wanted to investigate. He wanted to get into the central area where this big mango tree grows."

It is very common for elephants to visit the safari lodge trees in search for mangoes, but usually they choose a way around. Needless to mention the mangoes season is between October and December. Therefore, the unexpected visitor was a bit too late.

The elephant’s way to enter into the park spread amusement to all the guests. “He came and stretched over, had a look around, ate a bit of grass, then strangely turned round and came back the same way, which was quite amusing,” Ian said. “His easiest way of getting there was to climb over this high wall. It’s really unusual behaviour for an elephant to climb so high.”

Andy Hogg, managing director of The Bushcamp Company who own the lodge, somehow managed to capture on camera the hilarious moment, so we can all watch the playful elephant!

Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has been slammed by her uncle for ‘forgetting her family’ since she met the footballer.
Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Georgina’s uncle Jesus Hernandez, claimed she abandoned her old family after moving in with her billionaire partner.

According to Jesus, he took care of the model at the age of four when her father was imprisoned for smuggling $100,000 worth of drugs till she became a teenager.

He said: “I was in charge of providing for Georgina and her sister, buying them clothes, paying for their electricity and water.

“I did everything. Georgina was living with me during her teenage years until the day they sent my brother-in-law back to Argentina.”

He also claimed that the 27-year-old model has only called him once or twice since she started dating her fiancee, Ronaldo. He added that she is probably ashamed of him and the rest of their family because they are not rich.

“She may feel ashamed of us and consider she’s better than us because we don’t live with her luxury. I’ve never asked her for anything. She has only rung once or twice since I found out she was dating Ronaldo,” he said.

It was gathered that Jesus also dropped a comment on Cristiano’s Facebook describing Georgina as a evil woman.

He commented, “You’ve got the most evil woman at your side.”

It would amaze you to know that there is a hole that is as deep as 40,000 feet below the surface of the earth. This artificial hole is only covered by a rusty metal lid.

Legend has it that a team of Russian geologists drilled an 8.9-mile hole into the permafrost-covered ground of a remote region that is located in Siberia. When they had drilled to the 9-mile point, their drill started spinning widely which indicated that it had broken into a wider area.

Their motive for drilling this whole was purely science-driven and they did not hope to discover anything that was out of the ordinary. Soviet scientists had the motive of learning about the outermost layer of our planet which is called the crust, they wanted to understand how the crust was formed and how it evolved.

To their surprise, the temperature in the hole measured up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, which was unusually high. What was even more shocking was when they put microphones into the hole and according to them, it came out with the sounds of human voices.

Locals in the area have claimed to hear the screams of people that are being tortured in hell, this was why they named this hole “the well to hell”.

However, the authenticity of their claims is still in doubt.
