nwadikeokey11:I never said tourism and yes I came back to Lagos used a week in Lagos and went back. Me no settle here finally o, the numbers of mosquitoes in this country is more than the population of people. I de go better country soon sir. On God |
4everEdward:Check ur email br |
4everEdward:Hwf bro, how u take run the Germany visa na so, I de interested. Wanted to apply for UK visa with my Rwanda business visa but lockdown came, can you put me through with the agent and all, gisozi no far to Gacuriro na, we can link up |
4everEdward:Lol she try, I duh get pass 20 girlfriends here . Once they reach our house, they see free wifi, free food, beer and Netflix, they won’t want to leave again o lol |
Picture 1 was when I came back to Rwanda. Rwand here is the best just 4 hours . Ethiopia first took us to Addis, from Addis to Burundi then to Kigali, waste of time. Picture 2 is house rent for 1 month with my friends. Omo the house we rented in Gacuriro is $1,000 per month. House for here cost die Since 2 weeks now there have been curfew which was removed yesterday. They foreigners are the one bringing money in, imagine when I came in, I paid $60 for corona test, when you’re leaving you do another corona test, mind you d test i did in Lagos was still valid o, when u get here u spend 1 day in hotel till ur Results is out, my first time I stayed in the manor hotel at Nyarutarama. Very expensive hotel, second was the 2000 in downtown. Omo to buy Naija food cost die But the country is clean and peaceful, but their people poor lol
|
nwadikeokey11:You won’t pay anything for visa on arrival and you won’t get any visa just you’d be stamped in. The only thing you’re paying is $60 for COVID 19 test at the airport. |
4everEdward:Use map na, or google and show them picture of a church, they will understand. Another thing, check the church you’re going and call the church’s number you find online. Or you can give the phone to someone on d road while on call with the church. |
4everEdward:Bro enlighten more on this pls, cos I just checked now and Rwanda is Visa free / E visa to Australia, Singapore etc. |
4everEdward:Kagugi to MTN hqtrs is just 10 mins brother, so I don’t live in a village lol, I pay 1M Rwf a month so it’s definitely a nice beautiful estate, no point arguing my G. Stay blessed and I wish you success in your academics But Rwanda is not only expensive but very very
|
4everEdward:Hello my friend!
|
nwadikeokey11:Thanks a lot for this, he is a student, I follow him on Ig and he uploaded a video of where he is staying, you can’t compare a student apartment or maybe a college accommodation to what is outside in town ok? I stay in Kagugu, Umucyo estate and I rented a 4 bedroom duplex with my friends at $1,000 per month. 1 million RWF (agent still Collect money o ) The house doesn’t even have AC, I had to buy a very small fan of 6K or max 8k in Nigeria, I bought it for 40K RWF, na plastic fan o, no b OX fan we use in my church o lol , the house is just like a normal N1.5m house per year in Lagos. Things are expensive here, even the locals know. The 10K he is saying for 30GB is right but only on 3G which is like 2G in Nigeria and is very very slow even 4G we de beg God lol. I rest my case here |
Bro, hear say too lol. Wo, it’s your thread I’m not here to fight you, but know there is no reason id come to NL and be lying lol
|
See this JBL charge 4, it is just 60k naira in Lagos, see how much they want to sell a JBL charge 4 in this store. 350K RWF. Oga get your facts right.
|
This is a picture I took in Kigali city tower this morning. You can call that hear say too hahaha
|
4everEdward:Oga nobody is talking trash here. I am giving you first hand experience because I’m in Rwanda. The 10k for 30GB is 3G and not 4G, open your eyes and check my post where I said 4G, the 3G in Kigali is slower than Nigeria 2G lol you can’t even send a WhatsApp message or even load Nairaland pictures with it. Very slow. Get your facts right
|
So enough of d bad side, the country is beautiful, clean, and very secured. The citizens are friendly and d women get yarnsh and they easy to run, I still collect number this night self lol |
nwadikeokey11:I totally understand you but even at that, I think they have a wicked government cos these people are poor and the government imposes so much tax on them. I was talking to a lady at the liquor store today and she said if she has money for ticket, she’ll relocate to Nigeria. She told me the reason why the wine is expensive is cos they imported them. I laughed and told her do they produce Moët, Hennessy, four cousins, white Martin or jack daniels in Nigeria? Of course not we shipped them as well. So why are they super expensive here? So a Rwandese told me the government imposes 100% tax on imported vehicle In d country, but in Naija, d custom duty is just 30%. So if I buy a car of $1000 and I ship to Rwanda I’ll be paying a total of $2000 minus shipping whereas in Nigeria it would be $1300. Everything is crazy here so a venza that sells for 5m in Nigeria would be around 12m naira here. |
nwadikeokey11:Something else |
I went to a liquor store and ended up buying nothing. Hennessy VSOP is 130,000 RWF lol, even Heineken smallest bottle is like 1,200 to 1500. Even four cousins of 2k in Naija is 12,000 RWF here. They don’t even have AC in most houses same with their cars, even car here na die. So I wonder why things are expensive there and their citizens are poor, who de buy those things. An iPhone 12 pro max is 1.6M RWF lol |
nwadikeokey11:I love it too, but the presence of police everywhere makes me sick haha. Rwanda is just like UK in terms of policing. I mean it’s a Police country, everywhere u c police, maybe they’re trying to prevent another genocide who knows. Then Kigali is clean they don’t use nylon here. KIGALI IS NOT EXPENSIVE BUT VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE. RWANDA AT LARGE |
aboyaji:But they no fine o, they be like man lol |
There is a restaurant owned by an Igbo guy in Gicimanti or so, It’s called JOLLOF KIGALI, a plate of rice and chicken is $10... 10,000 RWF, with goat meat $12, pounded yam with goat meat $17. Omo the guy is in big money. Went to d supermarket yesterday and wine they sell 2400 naira in Nigeria is 11K RWF, socket of 5 phase is 11k, even cream Nivea men is 5,500. Bottle water like 1000 RWF. In short, Kigali is very expensive. |
Kigali is expensive, yeah i mean very expensive. I came in last week Saturday, arrived at the Manor hotel and later left for Ikaze B&B hotel. The room I lodged at the manor hotel with my friends is $150 per night. You can’t even compare it to a 4 star hotel in Nigeria. Very wack service. Housing is very expensive. Me and my guys rented a 4 bedroom semi detached duplex in Umucyo estate for $1,000 per month that’s like 1 million RWF, so we paid $2,000 total ( 1 month caution fee) I know d stress we went through b4 seeing a landlord willing to collect 1 month rent. Most houses here don’t even have AC, their taxi is expensive. Yegocars or so is like Uber. Very expensive, data is expensive 10,000 RWF for 12GB on 4G damnnn. What I only like is their ladies haha, big bummmmm |
Bro check your Dm, and why don’t you reply or check IG dm? |
