Hello everyone please I need your help. I’ve applied for visa now for my kids over 2 months now in vfs lagos. It’s not out. I recently applied for withdrawal. I’m so tired. I have a valid permit. I only came back to give birth here and be with my family then I’ll go back once I’m strong which I’ve been trying to do ever since. Had to close down my business coz I couldn’t be running it in absence and I can’t keep staying over here again. I don’t know what else to do anymore coz I can’t leave my kids behind. I thought kids visa don’t take to come out. My 1st child has South Africa birth certificate still nothing. It’s the second one I came back to have here coz I went through so much having the first without support.

Due to some health issues, My sister finished her undergraduate with third class and even had an extra year before graduating.
I applied to almost all schools in Scotland( UWS, GCU, RGU, Edinburgh Napier, Edinburgh University, etc ) all rejected her citing she didn't meet the minimum entry requirements, no work experience and bla bla.
Then I contacted the school agents , Edinburgh Napier agent was charging me 250k just to process admission, I laughed like this on the phone Buhahahahaha
UWS agent did free of charge and she got admitted for MSc in HR management but it was too expensive considering UWS is the least ranked University in the UK and the future prospects of HR is limited.


I have heard alot about University of Glasgow and Strathclyde University as the Almighty ones in UK and most expensive, well I applied there for her and second day she got an offer for MSc Education from both schools. University of Glasgow was too expensive so I ignored it, then Strathclyde University gave her conditional admission asking for minimum deposit of 2k while promising 4k scholarship plus also employing her as the School Ambassador after paying the deposit.
The total school fees was 14,800, minus £4000 making £10800. Wow so cheap for a top 10 University in UK and the number one in UK interms of Educational courses.

Paying such a lower amount of money for a highly ranked school in UK plus offer of employment is such a great opportunity. We accepted the offer, applied for visa but patiently waiting for the decision

Yeah a lot of green areas, parks which is nice. The city is well planned and organized. It is relatively clean too. I took some few pics when I was there. Would love to go back tho.

I lived at Kanombe, right opposite that Kigali airport, in fact if you scream loud in my house people at the airport will hear you, that's how close my house was to the airport. One day I went to the airport to change money and was stopped by a police sergeant to identify myself, which was normal because every one going into the airport is expected to have a means of identification, i had my international passport on me but wanted to see how civil their police are. So when the police sergeant asked for my ID i told him i didn't have any and he told me that i can not go in. I told him but i must go in and he said no, you can't, while we were arguing a 2star police officer beckoned on us to come. When we got to him he asked to know what the matter was, so the sergeant told him that i didn't want to identify myself, so the senior officer again requested for my Id and i told him that i cant provide it, then he politely told me that the rule says NO id NO ENTRY. I put my hand in my pocket and brought out my passport and handed it to him, the moment he saw the green passport and noticed I'm a Nigerian, he shook his head, laughed and said. Nigerians! and gave me back my passport and said go in. I smiled and went in. The point I'm making is that they have regard to their laws and they respect Nigerians and others.

Which currency do you change inside the airport? Can I change naira there or just USD ?

Lol, at Edward. Well I was in Rwanda for 3 or 4 months too. That place cost die. The duty on their cars is 100%. Imagine buying a car of 1m for 2m, I once bought iPhone 6 for 120k rwf, phone of 30k or 40k in Nigeria here. Even d house we stayed in Gacuriro is $1,000 per month. Well internet is cheap (liquid telecom). The country is good generally, nothing concern me with their leader. And if I’m ever going back, I’m going back cos of those tinder ladies Make woman no kill me lol.

I hope someone will learn one or two things here:
- South Africa used to be a haven for Africa immigrants looking for better lives away from their home countries, but of late South Africa is also struggling economically to keep her head above water. Many reasons are alluded to this: one is the impact of Covid-19 and consequently, majority of South Africa workforce and students are currently working from home.

- What does this mean?, South Africa is no longer " a land of hustle". What some of you are experiencing is not only targeted at Nigerians but also some Africas countries. As we speak, South Africa will not renew the work permit of about 250, 000 Zimbabweans when their work permits expire. In fact, many Home Affairs offices are operating a skeletal services and some categories of permits have been put on hold.

- If you are coming for holiday, this may not apply to you. If you are coming to study, there are fewer jobs available. If you can, try Europe, US, Canada etc.

- South Africa is in a perilous state, choose other countries for 'hustling'

So yesterday I got one of the greatest shock of my life, can you imagine after 10 weeks, SA embassy, Lagos denied my application based on “SCHOOL NOT RESPONDING TO VERIFICATION REQUESTS” isn’t that crazy? So they mean to say the school didn’t pick phone or reply emails for a whole 2 months and 2 weeks? Meanwhile I met a guy here few weeks ago. He applied to the same school and also same course, he applied 2 weeks after I submitted, his application was denied for the same reason after using 8 WEEKS. “NO RESPONSE FROM SCHOOL ON REQUESTS FOR VERIFICATION”. Meanwhile I’ve paid a total of 10K rands to the school, R5000 Is for health momentum (insurance) for a year and the other R5000 is in my schools account. The guy I met here contacted his school immediately after he submitted to inform them that the embassy will contact them for verification and they should watch out. The same school the embassy claimed didn’t reply them replied 2 of my emails this week, so how come they couldn’t reply the embassy for 10 weeks. This is not an ordinary school. It is a FLIGHT SCHOOL and the total amount for my training is over 15 million naira. Imaging the school loosing 30 million naira based on the stupid decision from the embassy? I mean how would the economy boost if they keep rejection students. Even Canada no reject students like this. It’s just crazy mehn. Worst part is I can’t appeal cos VFS in currently on holidays. I think it’s just 2 people that are at the embassy and the idiot that denied us just came last week and started making decisions without verification. He’s the same person that denied the 2 of us and even this guy visiting. LEAVE SA for now peeps. Sadly the ministry of foreign affairs knows about this but won’t do anything. What a government!

Your visa is purposely denied not that you did not qualify for it

Don’t reapply. And also you can’t appeal because appeal has to be done 10 business days after the Denial, and VFS is closed already for the year. Don’t bother to reapply once more, no stress yourself. E get why
I will share my story soon. It was this same idiot that denied you denied me and my padi too.

Oh, I forgot to add, mine is student visa and not visiting visa. Student visa takes a minimum of 8 weeks and can extend to as far as 24 weeks. Awon oloshi

I won't advise you withdraw your application, you may be withdrawing your approval and re-applying for a refusal.. Some days back, we saw a moniker on this great forum getting his/her approval after 11 months of applying, so yours isn't a closed case.. So I wont advise you withdraw ..

What you need to do now is to start throwing daily mails to IRCC cos you have every right to do so...
