I sent in PP via Vfs 2nd of July 2024
PP received back 4th of July 2024 Instead of W1 visa I got V1 visa is this an error ?

You can attach a reconsideration request letter as an attachment to your webform.

I believe I did and some documents might have been overlooked.

I think one of the answers should.

Where it asked if your spouse have recently graduated from a postsecondary institution in Canada. Since your spouse have pgwp, it means he or she has graduated. And should select yes.

If you are still studying, you would have selected the study permit to be Yes as well but not applicable since you don't study anymore.

once all the info are updated on ur profile, in 2days time you should be able to track it.

It will update automatically show on your tracker under the work permit closed application.

Can I track a visitor visa application when I already have a previous work permit on the tracker? I am trying to check, but it is the previous work permit I see on the tracker. I cannot track a new vv application.

That's incorrect. It not always the case.

It depends. It could be earlier or longer than the official processing time. Average processing time is often 10-12 weeks.

[There were two mistake from the visa officer.
1. That applicant was applying for study permit and didn't show the funds required for studying.

And this was incorrect. It was purely work permit.

2. Applicant didn't explain lump sum.

It was incorrect. Explainedlump sum through Gift Deed documents.

We saw these reasons in the GCMS notes. The generic reason was a bit different and didn't tell us the reasons except that applicant didn't have the funds required to get the visa she applied for. The GCMS note revealed things to us.]

Can one submit a fresh visit visa or open work permit after a previous work permit was refused and is under reconsideration request. Made a reconsideration request some time ago but waiting for outcome.

So I want to know if one can make a new application while waiting for outcome of reconsideration.

Just want to put this year for those applying for sowp after March 19, 2024.

To answer the eligibility questions before starting, the key answers you must fill in are now as shown on the IRCC website.

Might be RROC handling your app. Most app are handled primarily by RROC in Canada. Raise a webform but that your app is handled in Canada. It will go to the Canada office. Order your GCMS notes to know what is happening.

Brethren, IRCC Abuja have become a thorn in my flesh. I have finally discovered that my SOWP application is lying with them for processing.

My spouse and kids are already in canada studying, since 2023.

I applied for SOWP on November 25, 2023

I have a valid travel visa, and have visited Canada once.

But as I speak, SOWP eligibility is still pending. They have not even touched my application, but I see folks that applied in 2024 already getting PPR.

I have sent emails and several webforms, I keep getting their generalised responses from IRCC kenya. Abuja office have not even bothered to respond to my emails, and they don't seem to have a specific webform page, unlike Lagos and Nairobi. I have run out of ideas on what to do. This is so so unfair. Please gurus in the house what else is left for me to do that I have not tried? I done pray tire. Please help me!

For the authority to rlease personal infor, you must hand sign, otherwise, they won't process that document. It must be hand signed with a blue pen. You cannot sign on the PC. Print form and sign, then scan in color.

With the recent refusal of SOWP due to proof of fund. I will like to give few hints.

1. Let the student in Canada submit bank statement. This is easy because the person inside canada can easily pull funds together. The only document to show here is a letter from the Canadian bank showing available balance at the date of printing. So utilize this well to make up for the funds required. You don't need to show transaction history for Canada bank statement.

2. If the student is working - please add payslips and employment letter. No matter how small it will help.

3. Ensure you submit all tuition receipts.

4. For non canadain account where history is required please remember to explain every bit of deposit and sources of fund.

5. You can use gift deed to support funds coming in as lump sum.

6. Provide detail explanation on how you make money if your are a business owner

7. Add pictures, contract document, invoices, social media pages and links, reference letter from clients.

8. Ensure you add bank reference letters stating you are sole signatory

9. Ensure you provide a table of Content to make the VO work easy

All of them sent back automated response, only Nairobi replied later that it is in queue for processing bla bla bla as they always do.

Yes, primary center is RROC according to the GCMS note.

I dropped this earlier in the week. Try to read previous messages after your last message so you won’t miss anything that would be helpful to your application. There is every possibility your application is not with Nairobi but another visa processing center.

Klm too. But sometimes they go through USA. Check flights path to be sure. If Amsterdam is the only stop for klm from Nigeria, then you will not need a transit visa. I think Ethiopia airline too.

Always check the number of stops and flight paths.

I have been a silent reader and learnt a lot here, thank you all for that.

Second time applicant.
Date of application: 31/12/2023
Eligibility review, medicals etc were update same day as PPR
PPR: 29/02/2024

First application was refused on 01/12/2023 ( reason: not enough proof that my spouse is in a DLI) then for my 2 kids they stated that they won't return.

I just thank God that it's finally approved cos the wait can be very depressing. I wish everyone the very best and I pray that God will perfect what he started, Amen.
