Nothing wrong with going if it doesn't negate anything you stand for and it doesn't amount to an unnecessary sacrifice of sorts. This is so true. I once had a girl I was trying so hard to get but she kept using her dad as an excuse, saying she likes me but she's scared of coming over and all that because of her dad. The issue of texting and proximity reminds me of my university days.
I'm a bit of a nerd, so back then in my department people always wanted to join me to read and all that.
