please people i need help
first i check my tecnok7 (2gb ram )using antutu benchmark app. n every speces is correct except that it displays unknown board n 1000mAh for battery capacity
2ndly. after 3 days o internet surfing right now it can display "you are offline" for two days with only whtsaopp access no facebook no chrome no google search n the likes of them. please help ive even been to carlcare n was advice to factory reset the phone which i did but then after one day it return to same old story of you are offline am pissed. its so annoying for a phone i bought (#38,500.00 ) n its just a week n two days old as at this post please help me

did you receive a system upgrade on your phone recently?

Not much upgrade though, but battery percentage now shows at the top all time with the upgrade... along with some problems and bug fix.

well... this is one of the down sides of the phone. i noticed it on mine too.

This happens when you try to run various applications at once. i think this is because the device runs on 1GB RAM and makes it difficult to run many apps at once, so, some apps will stop responding to give room for the app you are currently working on. Those apps that usually stops responding are "big apps" like google playstore, facebook, whatsapp, even the system app sometimes.

I don't seems to have a solution to it than not to "overload" the phone with many apps and heavy apps, and to run the "big apps" alone when they are needed and release the ram afterwards.

This is a really not-so-good aspect of the phone.

Mine usually display clock while charging... And i dont know how to switch it off too...except by pressing the power button

I can't make calls unless my data is on. If I'm making a call and the network becomes bad, the call will drop by itself. Whenever I tried making calls without switching on my data, it will drop from my side but beep at the recipient's end. So they'll think I'm beeping them.

Seems your device need a technical check up. I suggest carlcare

Your K7 should have an app called 'freezer'...use it to freeze it... Doesn't require 'rooting'

Guys I am tired... I cannot successfully restrict background data on my tecno k7(2gb ram version) if I restrict background data for whatsapp i will still be getting messages on the background...
I doubt if anyone here has rooted his k7 spark..if u have rooted yours successfully, pls signify

I dont know why it doesn't work... Buy maybe u should try to 'freeze' it

I knw for u dis is a high end phone and ur happily blind abt it, i don't knw OTA update but i knw wat ur happy or glad for does not wort it, i will not b surprise if u buy same spec of phone next year just because of android 8.0, mr OTA update!!!

lol... tecno K7 is never a high end devise...everybody knows that, even tecno said it. And i know the little value of what am using that satisfies my need, and i never spat about it.

If you read major tech sites like GSM arena, you realise that every time security updates and bug fixes are sent to popular phones like the S7 and iPhone7, they write articles about it and inform their readers. Anyway all i'm saying is that you may need to cool your hate down.

who is also experiencing this software error...........go to settings and under micro intelligence, switch ON "double tap to wake" .

I have noticed that the inadvertently red light comes ON after Double tapping to unlock and does not go OFF again, until I initiate a call and hang up.

I noticed it this evening after making a call. make sure you are in a dark room, in order to see the red light.

well... i dont experience dat... the light only comes on when i double tap to wakeup the phone or i use fingerprint to wake it up and goes off immediately after the phone wakes up.

yes... i updated mine last week or so....and someone testified on that with a screenshot in a post above.
Although, the update is basically for those who have problem with split screen and also for improvement in performance.
But for system upgrade... we will have to wait till android orio 8.0 is released for all android devices, before we know if it can upgrade.

well, I don't know if you have bought it, but sincerely speaking if you want a device close to the likes of Samsung, iPhone, HTC..... interms of display, I mean colour saturation and colour separation, I will advice you to go for infinix.

also interns of sound reproduction either through ear phones or Loud speakers infinix still beats Tecno hands down.

I'm currently using the spark k7, and I'm NOT impressed considering the fact that I switched from infinix. after reading so many positive reviews about the k7 I decided to give it a try. I thought Tecno have upgraded their game, but they are not there yet.

the sound reproduction is very poor both on ear phones and loudspeakers .the color saturation and separation is also not good. this is common to all Tecno phones.

I will eventually sell this one and go back to infinix

interestingly...the person asked if the phone has system upgrade... which you never addressed.

and concerning the colour quality, the spark k7 is good enough when it comes to display, sentiment apart. i have seen infinix hot4 and hot5 display and no uniqueness to that of k7.

and on sound quality, of cause infinix hot5 is better, why? because of the dual speakers upfront. Aside that, the K7 is loud enough for me.

Bottom line: it is obvious that you are a lover of infinix phones, but you shouldn't let that cloud your judgement. No harm intended.

Pls who knows if spark k7 (normal or 2g ram version) or d spark plus k9 is OTG enabled. Pls I need info from peeps who have verified and used OTG on d said phones.

i tried using USB OTG with it... but it failed to recognize it

am not a gamer but i do play Dream league 17, asphalt nitro and oda games on it...flawlessly


i dont av any problem with any app...except dat of auto RAM management feature of the phone... it clean up some apps u open and don't use for sometimes, to save the RAM.
