The school I graduated from, Federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta, I have paid via online through remita as directed from their website. It's about 3 weeks since I made the payment, I have sent emails to funaab, send I think the transcript hasn't been sent to my UK university. I reside in the UK and about to start processing my Canada admission. Canada only allows students to bring their spouse and kids if they are studying at masters and PhD level? And the rule does not apply to colleges with 16 months program? |

■ That being written, the 3 - months visa validity for Nigerians is not affecting your Xmas travels and nothing bad or negative is going on in America. Well, if you decide to be absent on your visa interview day it doesn't matter. You are free to do so. Thanks |

If one doesn't attend their visa interview, does it matter??. Because with what is going on in America with Trump, and 3 months validity visa for Nigerians. I'm thinking it's not what to go for the interview again. I live in the UK, applied for us visa in April just fir Christmas holiday and have interview this November. If I didn't attend the interview, will it affect me in future? |

VisaZest: Hello,
With the DS-160 and your appointment confirmation letter, you are all set. You don't need to fill any other form.
Be sure to confirm the DS-160 number on your appointment letter is the exact DS-160 you want the visa officer to evaluate for your application. Okay, thanks |

For those who have applied for American visa from the UK, I need assistance and opinion. I submitted my application and wants to book an appointment for interview. I was meant to visit the US on five days holiday at the beginning of September this year. I have already booked the tour and hotel which I used the dates for my visa application. while I was trying to book an appointment, I discovered that the earliest date on the calender was ending of September. Will it be okay if I reapply adjusting the dates of my travel/holiday, maybe October and November or should I keep hoping to have earlier dates for me to grab?? |

Marcgrace: @Agidipie If you don't have a contact reference in the US, then provide the address of the hotel where you will be staying. Contact Person - Click on - Do Not Know Organization Name - The address of the hotel where you will be staying . Appreciate for this |

Efetobore1980: Hello Alagidi. That section is a two way things and it can be confusing. Either going for tourism or visiting there must be a point of contact to be mentioned. Did you register to any tourist attraction center (write the center manager's name and contact info) ? Are you visiting a particular family (write the head of the family's name and their contact info) ? ** You cannot just land in America and be walking or looking around (jaywalking), there must be a particular location of your interest.
Note: If you are undecided and plans to visit your desire places on arrival then write the name of your hotel (reservation) and contact info , the manager can be your point of contact. ** You have to choose between organization and contact person (tick do not know for the other). 👍 Thanks for this |

I just begun my application few days ago, all has been going well so far. I'm based in the UK tho (PSW) , and going on tourism for 5 days in September. I have booked my hotel and tour tickets to places I will be visiting in the city. My home ties is just my job here in the UK. Fact is, I'm genuinely going on holiday, not to run. What are my chances ? And any words of encouragement will be appreciated. |

I live in the UK and have an event coming up in September. I have already gotten the event tickets and want to apply for canada visa in April, but the stories I am hearing about rejection rate is alarming. Because I don't want to waste my time and money. I am worried, I don't want to add visa rejection to my record, lol. I am a content creator, don't work for anyone but myself, the event is a day event for people in my line of work. Surely, I am coming back to the UK after the event. I hope the will issue me the visa ? |

ednut1: its about the calibre of Indians. Remember Nigerians in UAE- the ones in tech and other corporate jobs are different from those ones that were doing olosho, cultism, and other nonsense.
In the last 3 years the amount of indians from punjab has been alarming mostly through student route/ temporary foreign workers. They have been doing some weird things ( uncanadian if that word exists) that has brought attention to their community

I am based in the UK. But what is really going on with Indians in Canada. Most of my social media timeliness especially tiktok are full of complaints about them by white Canadians, even blacks. They (Indians) have been under fire for the past few months now, even to people in Melbourne Australia. At first I thought it was the general anti immigration stereotype sweeping the west, but it seems the bulk of it is focused on them. Here in the UK, we all are facing these anti immigration talks biases but it is looking like the ones in Canada seems to target Indians more. They are really complaining about them and their activities. The Indians I am seeing here in the UK are doing great to an extent . Are the ones in Canada that bad ? Or what's happening |

jedisco: Not much is given on you post but as some have said, you need to consider all variables- (what job you're currently doing, course of study, skillset, family, e.t.c) and itemize what options you have and move on it.
As you know, to remain in the the UK after your graduate visa, you'd need a regular sponsorship (i.e salary of upto 38k) or a job in an exempt industry e.g the NHS or Care. There is also the teaching route. Lastly a second masters or phd which are all expensive and cumbersome. If you're unable to remain in the UK, what are your likeable options?
The issues mentioned about Canada are what can be stated about any western society with different skew. Moving to Canada as a PR takes significant weight off your shoulder as you face your career without all the pressures of having a visa.
P.s. nothing stops you from pursuing both. The Canadian PR process is fairly straightforward. If you get both, you can then weigh options from a more vantaged position. If you're targeting the Canadian healthcare draws, then you'd need to get on and apply as average scores are likely to keep rising. thanks for this |

maternal: The UK will kick you out, and you'll be forced to go back to naija. In short, the real question is, would you rather be in Canada or naija ? Let's stop forming like we have options here. To answer your last question whether Canada is worth it or not. It all Depends on your ability to adapt and/or hustle. Don't listen to others. What they eat don't make you poop. Thank you.. Noted |

I need a candid advice. I have finished my masters in the UK and currently on the graduate visa and I have begun the process of moving to Canada using PR. But with what I am hearing about canada; few jobs, high cost of living compared to the UK, and even the stricter immigration measures being put in place by Trudeau. Is Canada still worth it? Or should I stay back in UK? I need advice and suggestions |
