Same thing have happened to men around the world too. You don't see or hear them shouting about it, do you? Life is a struggLe, that's a standard fact, struggling isn't only synonymous to women alone, is it?

I have it better than 90% of girls and I know it. Do you really think I'd have gotten this job in a regular setting if I didn't have someone's recommendation? Same happened to me also, I got my current job via sweet nepotism. My competence too was questioned and most of what you typed was said to me. And you know what, it was and still is my greatest pleasure to make them eat their words.

If there's one thing I love doing, is proving myself and making my nay sayers eat the negative words they say about it. I don't whine, I take a challenge and entirely love it, even when I was a teacher, do you know how many times I was called poor, wretched and won't amount to nothing?

The world will never be shot of oppressors, they're everywhere. So please, never let anyone oppress you because you're a woman.

My niece was denied her position as sports prefect because it'd be shameful for people to knw that a girl is better at sports than all the boys.
My baby had the same marks with a boy in her class but came second because the teacher thought it best since men are the head... the mother of the boy said in front of me 'Aniebe,it is a small girl that you're letting compete with you?'

What did you so about the boled? Lord knows if my daughter have the same marks with a boy, and they gave her 2nd position, I'll rain fire and brimstone on the school.

A man I saw at an org whisled at me nd ordered me to 'come here',when I ignored,he walkd up and grabbed my hand. He said 'Are you nt a woman? I'm a man,If I dnt touch you who will touch you? Still again, what did you do? Did you ask to speak with the manager or did you tongue lash the man who wanted to force himself on you?

Please, you should know these times aren't the times when a girl or person keeps mute when harassed. It's that simple.

These are just 1% of my experience and I've had it better than a lot of others.
Did you say move on? How do you move on from abuse if every other man is a potential abuser? How do you move on if there are laws nd policies restricting you?
A woman died in FMC keffi because her husband was nt there in time to give the go-ahead for her transfusion. How does she move on?

Who else would have given permission for her transfusion? Did you expect the doctors to go ahead without the say so of a family member? Come on now.

I believe such cases usually involve the say so of a family member. I too have lost a brother during the 2007 doctors nation wide strike, I watched him die when doctors littered the place.. so let's not feel as if we're the only ones who experience pain.

People die everyday. Women aren't the only ones dying, I hope you know this. Whenever there's a struggle, death is usually inevitable.

Nigeria is a country that crash dreams, this usually happens almost every other day. Let's not see it as if women are the only ones suffering, please.

*The ratio of girls who are outta school is nearly four times that of boys
*Women can't possess property in their name
*The gap between the annual salary index of males to females is ludicrous
*Men are three times more likely to be considered for a leadership role than females..meaning,girls need to work thrice as hard
*Its illegal for a woman to go out un-accompanied
*Women only recently acquired the right to vote and run for office

Joe,can you honestly say that you do not see,every single day,how women are being treated like objects to sustain a man's ego? You do nt see how women are constantly being treated like second-class beings? Wait,I can't even believe I'm explaining this

Frankly, if women are being treated the way you described above, I'll tell you categorically that you won't be having the job you're having and commanding respect.

Look Hanny, I've told you this countless times, in life, you show people how to treat you. It's that simple. Any woman who is being treated as second class citizen put herself in that position.

Allmost everybody has been a victim of circumstance, the trick is not to wallow, but move on.
