I had a very very very very very painful first labor and still had to go for cs, i can not even begin to stress the horror, ontop all I lost the baby cos of prolong labour. So for the love of Jesus can someone pls talk about epidural and where around its done and the possible cost. Any contribution is very appreciated.

prepare the raw pap as usual ie soak, blend and sieve using muslin cloth.
leave till the following morning. decant the water layer
pour the remaing pap into the muslin cloth.
tie it tightly: u can do this in the sink, then place a heavy object on it maybe a clean heavy stone for several hours.
what u get after can stay in a a freezer for months.
u just remove few hrs before use.
i just finish my pap this sunday since November 14

Abeg make I come in as old mama consain. We tried this last year, one mama suggested it. So a whatsapp group was created, it was A huge mistake. Everyone shifted to the group, nobody bothered to postr here, nobody was available to answer questions etc. Then a lot complained about battery draining etc. Drama plenty juo. It nearly distabilized the thread. So they all came back and we started building our family again. Lol
That's the end of my story!!!

A suggestion: I have been thinking of a way to bring all women here in this room closer as one family, to make communication easier, yet I dont know how it may sound to the mamas in d house.

The idea is for mamas to share cell-phone contacts within each other, here in the room or via emails: as this will make it easier for you all to communicate especially when offline, and for private prayer sessions, one with another.

If this is a welcome idea, I wish it be considered and contacts shared.

i tot seeing physically maybe once a year based on geographical zone ie those in d north meet sw common; those in southern . i wish to know proud mum n dad, kaffy, beedam and so many more

5 weeks is a bit early for waist pain but i think it might not be because of the fetus that you are having pain. It is largely perhaps your own body mechanics.

Were you in normal health and average weight pre-pregnancy.

I would advice a trip to ob for vaginal or abdominal ultrasound to check fetus, beta HCG and confirm gestational age and such.

If you must, NSAIDs like ibuprofen are safe within reason at this stage. Try alternate cold/heat pack at low back and sides, practise good posture

Am extremely gr8ful 4 ur advice. i had gone to see my doc d next day after d pain. was told to rest wc i did, i also changed my bed n am feeling better.

Goodmorning beautiful people! i went for the scan today in anoda scan center and the result has got me thinking. Am really down since i collected ds result. abeg mak una help me interprete the result which says:
Observed in the uterine cavity is an irregular gestational sac with no obvious fetal pole seen.
G/SAC DIAMETER = 30MM
GA = 9WKS,5DAY
EDD = 07/09/2015+2WKS

No ovarian lesion seen and puuch of douglas is free.

CONCLUSION:
A Blighted ovum at 7weeks 5days.

Am emotional dwn as i write this result, sumone shld please cme to my aid, though my ANC appointmnt with my doc is on 31st. dont knw wat to expect from him. please i wil also want to knw if d baby is still ok am just confused. thanks as i await ur response.

many things happen beyond human comprehension. put your mind at rest, b prayerful n see ur doctor as scheduled All is well

I have been stooling since last night and am 14weeks. dont know wat to take so am just swallowing cups of water. once i use the rest room i quickly drink lots of water for strength. Dont know wat to do but will try the ORT when i get home since am at work.

The morning sickness is a discomfort common with primigravidae(1st time pregnant women). It's likely due to surge in hormones, particularly histamine. You just have to endure as the pregnancy advances.

You can regularly go for ultrasound to observe the foetus as it develops. I'll suggest you run the scan every week or 2weeks if you can afford it. You can begin the observatory scan from week20+

There is relaxation of muscles and everytin in d body,return blood flow is even slow. Plus ao many weeks r u, third trimester comes wit diff package for diff pple, sure the swelling wil go down and u wil feel beta wen ur body has adjusted to the feeling of waking. Pele dearie
