When they want to collect money, they just tell an innocent friend that a friend wants to send them money and something is happening to their account or any other excuse. They then collect their friend's account number to receive the money. So, it is not every time that account owner is complicit.

That's serious. The mutual friend must definitely be a stranger too probably they meet online too. I know someone you know can scam you too.

As for me paying upfront to get employment slot is too risky, this are not small money. Let find a mutual ground if you're so sure of yourself.

Who knows if those that always get fury anytime people talk about paying for slot upfront are the scammer agent or even the same person with different nairaland account.

I pray the victims recover there money but I'm quite sure it won't come easily because he must have spend a larger percentage of the money.

He must be deported. I enjoin the victims to come out and join your petition against the scammer and I think you should mention him and his phone number email and name right here so every one can know.

Well, he wasn't supposed to be a stranger but apparently, we didn't know him enough. I and some of these guys attended the same school with this scammer. I knew him during both BSc and MSc days. So, apparently we thought we knew him.

The guy doesn't understand what he is playing with, he didn't just scam people. He sent forged letterhead papers with NABDA's logo and the former DG's signature. This on its own is a crime that some people I told are already interested in.

So, I implore people to come out and not be ashamed to say I was scammed. It is one of the reasons people keep getting away with it.

By the way, 2 people already contacted me.

When we're talking about how bad paying before documentation can be, especially if the plug is a stranger to you, some sympathizers of scammers will be fuming all over the thread.

If we can't find a mutual trusted friend who can hold the money for us while the friend release the money when deal is done, then the risk is too excessive. Imagine paying 3million or even 1.5 bay sef to get a job only to come up with excuse at the end.

The sad part is that a mutual friend actually defrauded them. He claims to work there and used Nairaland job threads as his hunting ground. He took advantage of the trust they had in him.

They all even found out he offered all of them jobs via Nairaland when someone came here to ask if any other person was in her shoes. That's when about 5 or 6 of them found out that the same "mutual friend" collected money from them even though he claimed to have only 3 slots.

He claimed he has an uncle or area brother that is a house of reps member in charge of Science and Technology.

Many many lies that I cannot even begin to discuss here.

In short, he collected money from many people and used it to travel out.

I am currently working with a law chamber who will contact the British High Commission, the UK Police, EFCC, ICPC, NABDA, Interpol, the University of Sheffield, his school here in Nigeria and other relevant bodies. So, if anyone that was duped wishes to get their money back or get justice at least, they should send me a message. I will add their names to the petition.

This kind of person will not stop. He will continue to defraud people if we allow them to keep getting away with it.

Some people used this scheme to defraud a lot of people, including at least 5 people that I know about.

Hello, please what’s the update on this. I have two people who got appointment letters but there’s been no concrete progress since then.

They were told resumption date would be 3rd of February sometimes last week. Now they said there was a meeting yesterday where they decided to postpone it.

For those that sat for the 2014 WAEC November/December external exam (GCE), the results of the exam will be released this week. A message was released on the official Twitter handle of WAEC. The results will start rolling out on 18th December, 2014.

The Post-UTME result has just been released online at the University portal. If you participated in the screening held last week, you should go and check your result.

Am I alone on this one? I need your responses please!

Google Adsense is the easiest and best way to monetize a site especially for new and growing website but onr thing I just don't like is the $17 deduction for courier and my bank in Nigeria will still deduct $38 to send the check back to citibank europe to clear.

This is what I think, since Google has an office in Nigeria now, I feel they should by now have a bank account here. Why can't they pay Adsense publishers in Nigeria with checks drawn on Nigerian Banks? Or is there something I'm not getting? What's yóur take please.

Yeah, it looks like it's taking too long when it's your first check. Afterwards you should start getting a check cleared every month aside that it's easy.
