The 2022 Online English quiz competition ceremony held at Islamic Medical Foundation of Nigeria College of Health Science Technology Tudun Wada Kaduna on 28 May 2022 to mark the end of the English Quiz Competition. The Online English Quiz Competition organised by SMS DIGITAL EDU-CONSULTS, an educational consultant in Kaduna state has its core services in training teachers, Organising Competitions, recruiting teachers, career guidance and other educational services. 92 (Ninety-two) participants drawn from SS2, SS3 and 2022 JAMB-UTME candidates took part in the competition. The keenly contested online English quiz competition came to end on 28 May 2022. Khadija Suleiman Kirki of Abumutali International School Kaduna and Barakah Adesanya of learning-Field Academy Kaduna emerged the overall best winners with the aggregate score 75.6%. Abubakar Ishaq of Aisha Standard Learners school Kaduna also took the best student of the year award. Mr Victor Akinola of Katari Schools Kabala West, Kaduna and Mr Nase Philip of classical model School Tudun Wada, Kaduna emerged the most Outstanding English Language Teachers of the year.
The dignitaries that graced the occasion include Alh. Abdullahi Maikano, Alh. Muftau Abdulraheem, Alh. Ahmad Tijjani Nababa, Pharm. Iliyasu Ahmuda, Mr Saidu Mustapha (Deputy Provost IMFNCHST) represented by Mrs Fatima Abdulkadir. Others include Mr Nurudeen Yahaya, principal, Gems High School; Mal. Suleiman Abubakar Kirki, Director, Abumutali International School; Mr Solomon Jigide, principal, Princess Rahmah International School Kabala West Kaduna; Mr Bello Saraki of Silverbright model School Rigasa Kaduna.
Mr Nobert Umole, the event coordinator, in his closing remark urged schools to always encourage students to participate in Learning Competitions as by doing that encourages students to take their studies serious.

THE LORD OF PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHERS
How Mr Babatude Folarin, a Vice principal in Ogun state government school and Proprietor of a private school became the president of private school teachers union.
During the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown, the fact that private school teachers were completely abandoned without salary for almost a year led to the emergence of National Association of Private School Teachers (NAPST). We took up the struggle and engaged the Federal government calling for financial support for all private school teachers in Nigeria. The Ministry of Education then accepted to help us secure funds meant to support the small and medium business. We painstakingly collated and submitted almost twelve thousand names with their bank account details of the private school teachers from the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. During that period we needed to register officially as a union to enable us seek better welfare for our members across Nigeria. Hence, we approached the Registrar of the Trade Union, Ministry of Labour, Abuja. On getting to the office to register, the Registrar of the trade Union called us to his office and told us that one organization had applied for Independent Tutors Union and that they intended to register it. They then advised us not to go ahead with the registration but to collapse our association with theirs since we had almost the same aims and objectives. We insisted on going ahead with our own union because we did not know the character of the people that birthed the association we were asked to merge with. We paid all the expected fees and submitted all the necessary documents demanded for.
In line with the procedure in the office of the registrar, if two or more groups apply to register a similar union, at the point of approval, the registrar was supposed to call all the parties and ensure they agree to work together as a union before the union certificate was given. But to our greatest surprise, the Registrar in the ministry of labour secretly handed the Certificate of the Private School Teachers Union of Nigeria (PRISCTUN) to one Mr Batunde Folarin, a vice principal in a public school in Ogun state and private school owner in the same state.
Our contact was then given to Mr Folarin to call us and we met with him. Even though due process was not followed by the Ministry, we were ready to work with him for the interest of the teaming members of private school teachers in Nigeria. To our greatest disappointment again, we discovered that the man, Mr Folarin, aside being a public school teacher and private school owner, he singlehandly brought five persons who are government school teachers and state ministry workers and gave them principal posts in the union. We have the video clip as televised by a television station when he was made a vice principal in Ogun state government school. Apart from that, he also brought in some school owners as executives in a union of Private School Teachers. Other evidences pointing to our background check on him and the friends he came to the union with that they are public school teachers and state ministry workers are with us.
We hereby call on the Registrar of the Trade Union to retrieve the certificate of private school teachers union from the public school teacher, Mr Babatunde Folarin and carry out their independent investigation about Mr Babatunde Folarin and if he is found wonton of the allegations levelled against him, the registrar should immediately give the certificate to the genuine private school teachers or call for a convention of private school teachers within three months to elect their leaders that will champion the cause of private school teachers in Nigeria.
We hereby use this medium to call on all private school teachers in Nigeria not have any dealing with Mr Babatunde Folarin and the illegal state EXCOs he secretly inuagurated.
The oppressed and the oppressor cannot be in the same union because the oppressor will always work against the interest of the oppressed. So we want it clearly stated that private school owners and public school teachers MUST NOT be members of PRISCTUN.
