Please what's the way forward?
for those with CROUS residences that don't accept cash and only credit card payment, how did you go about the payment? My naira card won't be able to carry it because of international transaction limit

Thanks. An email informing i made it to the next stage of the interview and i'm to send some details back to them regarding course, institution and some other things. Interview will be next week

I received an invite this evening. So, i guess maybe its not

Dropping update for the future people that apply (If it'll be helpful). Got an invite for assessment. Did the assessment today. All i can say is time flies really fast.

Assessment was 18 minutes. Verbal, Numeric and Diagrammatic (6 minutes each). They used saville assessment. All i can say is the practice test is way easier and the questions are shorter than the actual test.

Verbal - 2 different passages (3 mins each, 4 questions) - Total of 6 minutes and 8 questions
Numeric - 2 different graph/chart or table questions (3 mins each , 4 questions) - Total of 6 minutes and 8 questions

You'll understand better if you go through the shl questions someone posted on the thread.

Brace yourself for longer text in Verbal. You might not be able to go through the long text. Reading the question and skimming through the text was faster for me but it is very tricky and there are some questions you'll need to read through both texts to get a similarity between the two. For the numeric part, all i can say is God safe us. Diagrammatic is the easiest and the best way to redeem yourself (do it carefully because you can make mistake).

I've been admitted to the MDS programme at UBC. I have however not gotten any scholarship offer yet from MCFSP. I think I have to wait until the end of February.

Just curious, did you eventually get the invite?

Yeah. Am wondering the same. I got to the interview stage last year but this year, I haven’t heard back. I have a feeling not all applications were checked cos last year, it was strictly decided based on the completeness of one’s application, meeting the deadline, etc.

I guess we wait till the end of the month. Hopefully something good comes up

All Applications for UBC MCF closed in January

Let me rephrase or explain. You know after they tell you to apply online. And you submit application before the deadline. For the MCF.

So your faculty has to review your online application. And its those that get admitted that will be shortlisted.

What i'm saying is what of those that applied and submitted before the MCF deadline and they have neither gotten any information on their admission status because it is still in progress on the portal. Does this mean they won't go through every application?

It is stated on d website that they may not be able to respond to unsuccessful applicants bcz of the number of Applications..

There's a WhatsApp group for people that were invited to the interview.

Yeah I know it's stated on the website but that's for the MCF. I'm referring to the main admission. Like if application is still in progress on the portal, how were they shortlisting. Strange

Is this for all programmes or just a specific one. Because some have not received acceptance or rejection from UBC?

Plus how are you people getting this information? Is there another thread or a group
