Where have you been sis?

Actually for like 2 months now, no power (electricity here), yet they bring 10k bill for my flat every month. I think that its determination and well, I make out the time. See the maths.

1. I have 25 books and make guaranteed 5 sales a day.

2. So if I have 50 books, I should make guaranteed 10 sales a day.

3. If I have 100 books, I should make 20 sales a day.

4. If I make guaranteed 20 sales a day...that should net me about $1,500 monthly or more

5. That's the one-year goal.

Though in the last 3 weeks or so, I have made at least 10 sales daily, but you can see my goal. It will not be bad if I take one year to build a business that brings me $1,500 assured income monthly, while I do other things. What do you say?

I say that getting that much sales in spite of location, NEPA issues and just LIFE, makes you an inspiration lol. If I can make that much from publishing I will count it a success story. Bravo :-)

My greatest secret is that there is no secret.

1. I choose a niche I have a lot of knowledge.

2. I write quality stuff, at least to my best of ability.

3. I do basic and good proofreading (at least to my best ability)

4. I push the button ...that is publish...and then hope for the best.

5. I keep writing even when the ones published are not selling. I just write and publish more. I failed this Nov. cos I only published two books. That's failure to me. So far I have about 25 books on Amazon and sell about 5-10 daily.

6. This Nov, we have crossed $700 in sales...to the glory of God.

You must have good electricity supply and a whole lot of free time and determination.

You also picked a great niche where people buy books. In fiction it's a little different especially for new authors. We will all get there :-)

I'm yet to see my first pay since I published in September but going by the Royalty reports I earned over $100 in KENP reads alone (October sales). Book unit sales were just ok nothing to write home about lol.

So when does the money get into my Payoneer for crying out loud it's been over 60 days come on

I'm glad the issue was resolved but feel disappointed that someone can just stress another person with careless allegation. Sorry for that.

I believe there are many writers out there wishing to have their work published on Amazon. If that is your dream then you can start from somewhere.

I'm talking fiction authors. If you have a book you want live on Kindle and be able to be called "published author" then I can be of service.

In terms of formatting and cover I can maybe sort it out for you so long as you're really ready to publish and have a finished story. Anyone can then buy your book from around the world. Even if just friends and family from church school etc anywhere in the world lol

At least I can now do other things and work on Amazon gradually since it will bring in small change monthly on autopilot henceforth. At least 5 sales drop in every day. So I have to do other stuff. Waiting.

Oh ok. I met my clients on Freelancer. Very demanding work with deadlines and set premise to follow. You are given a brief storyline to expand into minimum of 30k words. Turnaround 3-4 weeks. Freelancer has great options so definitely start from there.

Amazon does not penalize for linking to your books. How else would people promote their books? What Amazon penalizes for is including excerpts of your books in other websites and this condition is only for books enrolled in Kindle Unlimited.

@miissy its a yearly challenge where you have to write a fifty thousand word novel in thirty days. Takes place every November. Although there are prizes to be won, the focus is more on creativity. Whether you can push your self to do that in such a time. Helps build your writing skill. The idea is that if you write 1670 words daily, you will have a 50000 word book by 30th November.

You are doing absolutely well out there. I am following you bumper to bumper. I get your book alerts, when you make edits and releases. Your BSR shows you wont earn anything less than $500 per month. You're really in charge in that romance fiction. Wish I could write fiction like you do.

I was just testing the waters in this business by just writing on things I know very well and do. Now it's time to venture into other niches and really get started...

I really love fiction and have a lot I've already written and just need to polish to suit the standards of the market. Thanks for the feedback and motivation. I didn't know you could get notified like that and I appreciate it really.

Those figures look inspiring. With 20 books out it's good to see that readers are interested enough to buy copies daily. That Createspace... Will jump on it soon.

My strengths lie with KENP reads which will average 25,000 pages read in October. I'm picturing what it will look like if I had 20 or even 10 books on sale... Whew. Got to get to work work work work.

I'm happy with the last title.. It got up to 8,000 BSR the past week. Thank goodness all those novel reading is starting to pay off... Maybe in big bucks soon... Yippeee \o/

I got to slightly increase my price for my new book and for subsequent Titles I will go higher while also improving quality and substance.

I now correctly check my sales records using the custom settings. I soon realized my sales weren't as bad as they looked in general. Thanks for your pointers which really helped.

This is really difficult even for primary six. What the... Even for me it's very tough to decipher. What kind of education is this. Can't you build them up not bombard them and then call them dumb.

There is nothing wrong with your sales or your money disappearing. Th reason for this is that the sales dashboard usually display 30 days report this means that if it shows from 1st september to 1st october sales to be $30. on the second it will show 2nd september to 2nd october. this means that any sales you made on 1st september will be deducted though it is still there if you chose the custom mode and select from 1st september to practically today you will see your entire earning displayed.

Hope this is descriptive?

Nothing is going on sis.
1. Check to be sure there are no returns.
2. If there are no returns, then check the date and refresh. Most likely when you enter a new date frame it will reduce, but the money is still there. You can select date range to view and you can see that your money is there

Hi everyone,

I'm having issues understanding this "royalty earned" stuff. Sometimes it will be a certain amount and then later it will reduce. For example in the section where it says "royalty earned" I noted it could be like $9.00 then the next day up to $10 but then suddenly it will go down to around $6.00 and now even $5.00.

Who understands what is going on? How can royalties be reducing even when you see you are making everyday unit sales? I realky don't get it.

I won't call that measly at ALL. I'm averaging a unit sale a day so I'm totally in envy of your sales numbers. You're killing both ends with some consistency, which is what I'm aiming for as I get more titles out (at a better price too as you advised!).

Thanks. I'm surprised and happy with it myself. On 21st (yesterday) I actually clocked an unprecedented 2,000+ pages in one day. Was really amazed.

It's romance fiction (the genre).
