No need for name calling. This is a public forum and topics are meant to be discussed in a civilised manner mate. Well volunteers and interns ain't officers anyway. So you misrepresented the fact cos I am certain that the pay for entry level position is above 120K

shikshark: The later is the answer, i was invited for an interview at their office in area 3 like two weeks ago for the post of travel coordinator,i met a lady and one thing i observed is that she keeps saying "humamitarian this, humanitarian that" alas asked me salary expectation and i said 120 then the lady said the will have to be really honest that they can only afford 35k, upon the fact i told her my current salary is 70k

FHI pays more than the 120 you quoted for FSN 6 which is entry level for graduates. So not sure who u spoke to

Seeing we are running a democratic system of Govt, it is absolutely stupid to even think of banning smoking in a country never mind the actual implementation. Mr President might wanna start from shutting down the likes of BAT. Can understand banning smoking indoors or in public places at most. Again, goes to show how intelligent our leaders are.

Edokpia: @aijay80 it is both that are showing application On File, inshort d one of dec shows on file since jan 8 while feb application shows On File feb 17, pls did u observe when urs started showing In Proccess, i applied 4 d position of finance an administrative assistance, which position did u apply for.

That recruitment has been concluded! Interviews were held in January through to February and the new intakes r currently on training. Source, an FHI HR personnel

@ OP, its a good opportunity and a wonderful place to work. A friend works there. I actually applied for a program officer but wasn't shortlisted, give it a go. Best of luck. And they will reimburse cost of transportation, so nothing to loose really
