Funny! Nigerian engineers don't even want to do the jobs that the Indians are doing here, because the pay is poor. Our engineers prefer to go to Middle East, Europe and North America, where the pay is good. If Nigerian companies pay well, more Nigerian engineers will stay here and suffer with the Indians. For now, the Indians are the only one willing to do certain jobs in the oil and gas sector and go home in a molue staff bus. |
Igbos doing the Lord's work. The Igbo man can find a way to better his life, no matter how you try to put him down. I hope Nigeria can realize that God put Igbos here to lift Nigeria. Give an Igbo man the presidency and watch this nation rise. |
My own smart wrist watch is still with the Nigerian customs for over two months, according to the shipping company. It's just a less than 200 dollars smart watch and they have refused to release the watch. Nobody has contacted me from the customs, the courier company said the item is still with Nigerian customs and this is over two months. Some people are saying that the item has been stolen and I am wondering, "stolen by who?" This country na wa! |
Omodua:Do you live in Mile 2, Oji River? |
They have been rescued. |
DeepSight:Sadly! |
Sad! Imagine if this man had spent the last six months pushing bills and policies that would ensure that legislators do not earn higher than university lecturers and local government chairmen do not earn higher than secondary school principals. He would have boldly written his name in the heart of every single Nigerian. I hope the other legislators can reflect and start working tirelessly to end the income inequality between the Nigerian workers and Nigerian political office holders. |
1Sharon:Wow! That's crazy. |
Very unprofessional. Your first attempt after noticing that the child has died is to try to revive the child. In most cases dead children can be brought back to life with this kind of interventions. |
Skit makers! ![]() |
They may not even be Nigerians. Could be some Black Americans who read one novel about old African Empires and decided to create one for themselves. |
Kobicove:Sorry for the mistake. Damn autocorrect! |
Wow! Instead of fixing the country, we are encouraging our people to spend money on visa centre. |
I see no problem here. Just a dance! |
This is like APC saying that they have expelled Buhari. Kwankwaso literally made that party. |
Crazy! These are the real unknown gunmen. |
Sad! Who goes to quell a riot with live ammunition? Only in Africa. |
Sad! This is really sad. Someone wakes up to go to work, tells his family that he will be back but not knowing that evil people are after his life. |
Oh no! My girlfriend is there oo. |
Cardiac arrest! They were probably busy fanning and pouring water on him instead of administering CPR to kick start his heart. When someone's heart stops you can still bring him back to life by doing CPR immediately. A lot of Nigerians have died out of ignorance. |
Jesus! |
Wow! |
Okay. |
BossGerald:Stop this childish attack on Imezi Owa. My grandma is from Ogwofia in Imezi Owa. |
Good! My problem is that a politician that stole millions of dollars is probably walking free, but this poor man gets to do 46 years. Can we maintain the same energy when it comes to politicians who steal people's money? Just an honest question. |
DonroxyII:Thanks for the perspective. Internet keeps reminding me that I need to get my MBA. 😂 😂 |
Every business sector in Nigeria has gatekeepers; you can call them mafia. Their job is to make sure that an outsider does not come from nowhere to enjoy what they believe they've built over time. We have them in the music industry, the movie industry, politics, tech startup ecosystem, motor parks and even among agbo sellers. If you come from outside and try to disrupt their industry, you'll be met with a very sharp and sometimes lethal resistance. If you think I'm lying, go and start a record label tomorrow or a fintech company without consulting some people. After a year, come back here and tell us your experience. |
Where is the food? |
Starzo:Read it again. He said that when people were depositing the old currency notes that the Igbos had, so they can exchange them for the new currency notes, he noticed that the bank officials were not counting the money. So if an Igbo person brings ten thousand pound of the old money to open an account, the bank will open the account with 20 pounds instead 10 thousand. The bank will eventually pay the account holder only 20 pounds of the new money. What he did was legal. He opened 20 bank accounts and distributed his entire life savings across the 20 accounts. He ended up getting only 20 pounds from each account, as against his entire life savings. This is one evil metted out to the Igbo. However, like Phoenix, they rose to become the most successful and most enterprising ethnic group in Africa. |
yarimo:Okies! |
yarimo:Yup! |
