Hello my people,

I applied for a UK Visitors Visa and had my Bio on 6th October 2022. A friend of mine we applied and visited the biometric together same day got a refusal email notification a week ago.

I sent a paid email on Tuesday to UKVI and I was told they are still working on my application.

I tracked my application today and its already transferred to VAC but I didn't get any email to notify me of refusal or approval.

People with experience can you please share your opinion?

Thank you

If you didn’t get a refusal email before your application was transferred to VAC, you will most likely get the visa. Refusal emails are sent before applications are transferred to VAC. Check your spam folder tho.

Thanks very much Airfay for your swift response, You wrote 2.6m as you mentioned in documents you submitted as your closing balance right?

Also do you explain your opening balance in your cover letter?

I actually didn’t do a proper cover letter. I had a word doc that explained everything I wanted to write in the additional info as I already exceeded the word count so I continued whatever I wanted to write in a word doc. My opening balance was 559k. I received a couple of deposits from friends asides from my salaries which I explained. Each of the deposits were not more than 60k tho. I classified them as loan and repayments from friends. I should also note that I started the part time job in September 2022. Prior to then, my monthly income was N300k

Congratulations
Please Your disposable income and amount to spend on the trip and for how long did you say you were going to stay

Thank you. I said I was going to spend £1500. I have a full time job and a part time job that amounts to N550k altogether. Monthly spending was about 90k. I also stated that my brother will be contributing £700 towards the cost of my trip and I will be responsible for £800. I submitted his 3-month bank statement and my 6-month bank statement. I stated I was staying for 12 days.

Hello house, my UK Visit application has now been transferred to VAC and I haven’t received any refusal email yet. Is this a good sign? I’m really anxious

Hello house,

Please I’m currently filling the form but I don’t understand this question. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Are they referring to how much I make yearly from my other income? Or how much I make yearly from my main job and other income?
