MD, LL.D, PharmD, DMLS, O.D, DPT are all professional doctorates in their rights. They cannot suffix in any academic setting as replacement for PhD, it is an anomaly and you all know this.

Before now, you have over the years threatened Nigerians with strikes in order to armtwist them to get what you want, you now believe you can wake up one day and declare that M.B.B.S is greater than M.Sc and your fellowship certificates are greater than PhD, that's laughable and nonsensical.

I don't know of any professor or assistant professor of Medicine/Medical science without a PhD in the US. All their textbooks and publications are usually people with a PhD or a MD, PhD. We all know these things.

Even ASUU is not buying your crap. FG, ASUU and NUC should collaborate and sack the MDCAN members if they go on strike, they are even overfed. Declare their posts vacant and fill it with other physicians who are ready to work.

Gov. Fashola sacked them in 2012 in Lagos and put up an advert for vacancy, the next day Health service commision off Broad street was filled with unemployed and underemployed physicians ready to replace them, heavens didn't fall.

guy, i am not a post ume candidate o. I am a 200 level student of biochem in uniben. For ur in4mation, i wuz admitted 2 study medicine in uniben and later relocated to biochem because dey lost their accreditation. There4 i can tell u boldly dat uniben admitted 7000+ last yr because dey announced it during our orientation. Tanx

@jazinogold, what do u think is uniben's capacity according 2 nuc? 5000. And how many students do u tink uniben admitted last year, 7000+. So pls she has a point, dont accuse anyone for info posted. Afterall we all have freedom of opinion

@elobabi, u will surely be admitted but i doubt if u'll be given medicine because even if dey are admitting medicine, d cutoff will be very high. I have friends with an average of 66 whose status is still showing pending. So just chill

Anyone planning 2 use connections, i will advice u 2 just keep praying 2 God because He's d only hope. If u use connections, nemesis may catch up wit u because, in 300 level there is what we call certificate screening committee which will review all d credentials u used 4 clearance and admission, and people have bin told even in 300 level dat dey were given fake admission and dey have 2 take jamb again. So just pray 2 God, dats all
