China is losing but same US won’t allow a fair market.

If China is so bad l, why can’t America welcome free and fair trade without sanctions?

Let the Chinese EV come into the USA and let’s see how good Tesla will compete. Let Huawei mobile phones and infrastructure come-in and compete with Nokia. Also, Let FB, Amazon, and Twitter compete with TikTok

They will never allow such because, THE CHINESE WILL BEAT THEM!

Of the top 10 batteries manufacturers uses for EV in the world 7 are Chinese. Tesla had to reduce prices of vehicles to compete with the Chinese.

People talk about difficult life abroad, but do people in the UK work harder than Bus conductors and drivers in Lagos, who struggle despite working as hard?

The difference is that he can toil, earn money and progressively improve his living standards over time without struggling for the basics like electricity

5 bottles of origin for you for this your write up. People don't know how much 9ja has deteriorated in the last several years that it's so alarming. If people even get to invest in the country, they will be frustrated out of their investments by either the workers or their communities or the government. It's so painful.

Before the start of the war he has always been open to dialogue and Ukraine has been stupid enough to not dialogue, relying on the US.

So this is old gist, I really pray the fighting comes to an end. After all no one is right in a war, all that matters is who is left.

I pity people shouting authoritative rule, but you forgot that the prosperous days of Africa was authoritarian. Let me ask you, what has democracy brought to Africa as a continent.

The West are indirectly ruling countries in Africa authoritarianly, how you ask, by 1st meddling in your politics, installing persons who will dance to their tune, this is what happened in Ukraine politics as a sample and Ukraine went from a neutral state to a pro western state.
Lybia is another classic example.

America and it's allies cannot influence a country if the country has no political structure.

That's why America wants to infiltrate Russia and China by all means. These are the last strongholds of authoritarian rules and the places American has no say.

What's is Russia business telling a sovereign country which organization to join, they're becoming a bully to all the small countries around, Finland never considered joining NATO until Russia invasion of Ukraine. Russia should be playing a big brother role like China and America rather than go around bullying small nations because they want to join NATO,.

What are they afraid of? When they should have created an organization dragging those small nations together and protecting them they rather want to annex them.

Not when the sole purpose of the organisation is against it's freedom, liberty and most especially existence.

Finland, Ukraine, whatever country can join NATO if they fancy. That has nothing to do with Russia.

Have you really asked your self why NATO as a body was formed in the 1st place, if you can sincerely answer that question and follow history, you will understand why Russia is not happy with anything called NATO.

What do you expect when we have very strong appetite for foreign goods and services.

Ban Nigeria from any form of buying and travelling out if the currency will not appreciate

Sorry but your suggestion will lead to another severe increase in the discrepancies.

What we need is strategic and massive industrialization. Start build the major industries in small output scales, then run it for 10 - 20 years then do what you said above.

If done this way we will be forced to buy Nigerian and be forced to upscale our industries.

If we go by your approach straight away, you will find out that even if you want to buy nigerian you have no Nigerian substitute so you will be forced to look for scarce dollars and end up paying high price in terms of conversion rates which is what exactly Buhari did to the naira by banning importation of almost all things.

Believe this at your peril.
The first question to ask is why after spending 7 years and counting obaseki is just remembering these pensioners and even at that, there is also going to be their usual verification?
Don't be surprised that the verification alone would run into the next election for Edo.
It's like what some governors do:when they are about ending their tenures, thats when they employ thousands of people into the civil service and all other manner of agencies, trying to curry cheap popularity while burdening the incoming goverment with a wage bill they can't take care of.

Payment to pensioners have repeatedly been done at the state level, currently it is being moved to the local government level, mind you most states have over 300,000 works presently. Then the next question to ask is how much is Edo state federal government allocation.

When was catholic against it?
https://www.usccb.org/news/2023/pope-clarifies-remarks-about-homosexuality-and-sin

Oga the Catholic church has never supported LGBTQ, it's only of recent that because of love for neighbor and repentance that they have tried to allow them to even come to church, and while at church they are forbidden from anything else apart from attending church and repentance.

The 1st set of persons to even protest against it in America are the Catholics. Cuz in the bible 2 things stand out:
1. God made man and then woman. He looked at everything and saw it was perfect.
Not man in woman's body and woman in man's body which is a flaw.
2. Marriage is between man and woman.
The church seriously even frowns at devorce talkless of same sex marriage.

Don't get it twisted.

But immediately NATO gets involve. The petty war will stop. The nuke game will start.

U have a good idea what Russia is doing, if you follow this news back to its beginning you will see how Russia has gone on international media seeking for rights of its people in Ukraine as far back as 2009, to the breakout of conflict in 2012 to the annexation of cremea in 2014, to the UN resolution which involved Germany in 2014 - 2016 and finally the breakout of Russian troops in 2022 all dey Google but people don't read and understand things from the beginning.

Exactly the point I raised earlier. Why is every nation around Russia aligning with the west? It says a lot about Russia.

Look at when Mexico was planning to join BRICS, the US quickly started a romance with Mexico and the president publicly stated they not joining BRICS.

That’s how it’s done. Unlike Russia, it charges against all its neighbors

Aligning with the west, it's to collect free money from EU before na abi do they anything they are contributing to the EU or NATO in the 1st place.

Read and learn

Bros, the world knows, Russia's stockpile is enough to destroy the whole world 7 times over.

There nuclear technology is something the USA cannot hold a candle to that's why USA is screaming up and down and can only support Ukraine and not invade Russia. That one is a fact that even the USA knows.

Why are they not part of GDP?
Is mining and extractive sectors of a country's economy not part of the economy?

Who is responsible for the resources not been processed locally?

Are African countries, the only countries exporting unrefined mineral resources?

The same people who sow discord and arms as means of establishing peace. The same people who armed terrorist and extremist organisation such as ISIS and likes. They are the same people buying these minerals without the GDP benefiting from it.

What a dumb thoughtless comment.
The GDP of the entire western African francophone countries is not even up to 300billion dollars , so only you know were France gets such money from.

You do not understand, the resources mined at peanut prices and shipped overseas and turned into wealth I hope you understand that those are not actual GDP.

Take Nigeria for example, the tons of gold mined in the north and somehow find their way to the western world are they part of Nigeria GDP.
