Application For NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2015 (SHARE THIS)

Nigeria LNG Limited is pleased to call for applications from qualified candidates into the NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme for entry into Masters Programmes in the United Kingdom in September 2015. The scheme is administered by British Council Nigeria.

2014 NLNG Undergraduate scholarship application
Criteria for Award
Potential beneficiaries must:
be entering into a Masters programme in Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Management Science, Information Technology, Law and Medicine
possess a 2nd Class Upper degree in a relevant field of study
have completed the NYSC programme
be no more than 30 years of age
be Nigerian nationals resident in Nigeria
provide identification documents from their L.G.As
must possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September 2015
provide evidence that they are available to travel in September 2015 if selected.

The Application Process
Application forms for the scholarship can be downloaded from www.britishcouncil.org.ng
Completed application form, along with an attached colour passport photograph of applicant should be submitted via email to nlngpgscholarship@nq.britishcouncil.org

Please do not attach any documents to the completed application form. Only application forms accompanied by a single passport photograph will be considered.

Applications into the Nigeria LNG Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme will be received only via email; if you do not have regular access to the internet, you can download the form onto your personal computer and email it back after you have completed it. Only applications sent to nlngpgscholarship@ng.britishcouncil.org will' be considered.
Exceptions will only be given to applicants with 'special needs'

Application deadline is midnight on Friday, 21st November 2014.
Applications received after this time will not be accepted.

The Selection Process
Candidates whose application are successful will be invited to sit for a test. On the basis of the results of the test, applicants will be invited for interviews from which the final selection will be made.
Please note that only those who make it into the various stages of the selection process will be contacted.

Try going through each of the scholarships, I think the levels eligible are also attached to each of them,
If you are eligible, nothing stops you from applying......

You apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible for but providing all required information as accurately as possible
For example, Are you a beneficiary of any scholarship?, If you already have a scholarship, truthfully fill out "yes"
In conclusion, you can apply for all scholarships that you meet their eligibility

Sorry dear, OP is the admin of Nigerian University Scholarships website and has a better deal with the scholarship bodies
NLNG pays 300k because they combine the 200L payment with that of 100L cos the result always comes out in year 2...

So year 1 + Year 2 => 150k +150k = 300k....
Do you now understand why I wrote 300k in the post..

Era of Strike in Nigerian Education Sector Over

Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau yesterday expressed optimism that issue of strike is over in the Nigeria educational sector, LiveschoolNews reports.

Excerpt:

He disclosed this during his official visit to Federal government institutions in Lagos Tuesday. He said: “By the grace of God we have seen the end of strikes in our various institutions.”

Shekarau who visited University of Lagos, Federal College of Education, Yaba and Yaba College of Technology, Yaba respectively said that having seen the White Paper of the NEEDS assessment report, he is set to implement it. According to him, “we shall forward them to the various Governing Councils for implementation.”

He explained that the fund that has been released into the education sector will be used in paying salaries arrears, improving the infrastructural development and addressing other academic issues in the various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

What is baseless about this information, did you visit the waec website link above to see that the Nov/Dec 2014 WAEC GCE is already there.
I said it will soon be out with the the link awaiting to receive the result or you want to tell the whole NL that you are assisting thse marking the papers
