It is important to know what your recruiter is looking for and ensure that only those things are presented to them. Giving less or excess can deny you of your dream job. Here is a list of 3 things recruiters hate to find in your curriculum Vitae. 1. Inappropriate Email addresses You know that email address that you created when you were young and without a care in the world? Employer do not like them, especially in a case where you are applying for senior management positions. The likes of babyjoy@something.com, sugarspice@whatever.com etc. If you are still using these email addresses it is time to grow up, trash them and create new professional email addresses that will depict you as being professional and mature. 2. Head Shots/pictures Has someone told you that the current CV trend is attaching your photo on the CV? This is not advisable unless the company you are applying for has specifically asked you to attach a photo. Photos put employers in difficult positions as they put themselves up for questions about discrimination in all forms. Stick to these simple tips and maybe your CV will receive more attention and consideration the next time you apply for a job. 3. Poor Formatting Is the font in your CV all over the place? Do you have a mix of calibri, aerial and times new roman for creativity? It is time to introduce your CV to consistency. Choose just one format and stick to it. Do not add color or calligraphy to your document. http://pastquestionsandanswers.com/3-things-recruiters-hate-to-see-on-your-cv/ |
Written By Ajah Excel Anayo Those who are highly confident are the script writer of their life story. They believe in themselves knowing that it is faith in oneself that will convince the rest of the world to believe in such a person. 1. They Don’t run away from Scary Ventures: It is the zone called out of bounds that men who made records wrote their name on the walls of history. Highly confident people like it when it is scary. 2. They Dont Make Excuses: The face life contingencies squarely and see the end of it. 3. They don’t put things off to someday: Being very much aware that someday is not a day of the week. 4. They dont obsess over opinion of others: Highly confident are always wearing a bullet proof to guns of negative feed back from the outside world. 5. They Don’t Judges Other: They understand that each will be judge with the measure he judges others. 6. They don’t require anyone’s permission to act. Since they know that they are the captain of their own ship then, taking permission to achieve a goal is not necessary. 7. Highly Confident People dont find joy in people-pleasing: I may not know what it is that brings about success, but the ultimate cause of failure is very obvious, “the quest to please every one” 8. They don’t let lack of resources stop them from achieving their goals: Idon’t school certificate, i am not educated, I don’t have money etc are not word of highly confident people when it comes to achievement of set goals and objectives. 9. They Don’t Make Comparison: The failure of a man start at the point he begins to measure himself with others. What if you are the superior being? Wait you never asked that question right? FUTO Students Almost Burnt To Death As Inferno Guts Students Public Bus (SEE PHOTOS) August 5th, 2015 would have ended on a sad note and many would have been sent to their untimely grave if not for the timely intervention of good-spirited Nigerian students. It was gathered that a dilapidated FUTO bus with registration number "KMC-555 XA" got engulfed with fire as it was about leaving the park. The inferno which started gradually beneath the vehicle would have been disastrous if not that the petrol tank was detached from the vehicle minutes after the fire started. Report has it that the students who were already in the bus as it was loading passenger had to run for dear life. As such none of the students was wounded by the strange fire... As at the time of filing this news, all efforts to reach the bus driver proved abortive as the driver was in a state of dilemma and was still yet to recover from the trauma. However an eye witness who happened to be a FUTO bus driver disclosed that the affected bus belonged to the chairman of their association.
