Latest Update on NYSC Batch B: Changes In Date of Orientation (Camp Opening) The NYSC Batch B 2014 orientation timetable has undergone some changes for some states. The date NYSC camp for Batch B 2014 that should start in August has now been changed to September for some states. CHANGES IN THE NYSC 2014 BATCH ‘B’ ORIENTATION COURSE(OPENING OF NYSC CAMP)

The NYSC Management has made a decision regarding 2014 Batch ‘B’ orientation exercise as follows:-

THAT PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS DEPLOYED TO SOME STATES WILL GO FOR STREAM II AS INDICATED BELOW
Duration:- 3 weeks
Commencement:- Monday 1st September, 2014.
Registration:- Monday 1st to Tuesday 2nd September, 2014
Swearing-in Ceremony:- Wednesday 3rd September, 2014
Closing Ceremony:- Monday 22nd September, 2014
The date NYSC Batch B camp is opening has now been changed from August to September.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO NYSCH 2014 BACTH B PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS:

All the states NOT listed above will commence their orientation course on 5th August, 2014 as indicated in item 8 of the NYSC time-table and at their respective orientation camps.
Lagos is going to have Two streams (I and II), both will take place in Lagos NYSC Camp.
The camp addresses and the reporting dates will be printed on your call-up letters. You are therefore advised to stick to that.

Applications are invited for Gani Fawehinmi Annual Scholarship Awards 2014. The Awards will cover 2013 and 2014. The award is for 40 (Forty) students each of whom will receive One hundred Thousand Naira (N100, 000.00) making a total sum of Four Million Naira (N4,000 000.00).

Criteria For Chief Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Award 2014
(1) Applicants must be poor and indigent

(2) Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in nigeria i.e Universities, polytechnicsand colleges of education.

(3) Applicants must have good academic performance



Mode Of Application For Chief Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Award 2014
Each applicant shall submit an applicaton form, not more than two (2) pages. The letter must include the following:

Name of the candidate
Course and year of study
State of origin and
Reason the candidate believes he or she deserves the scholarship award
The application letter must be accomplished by:

i. A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity card;

ii. A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session.

iii. A letter from the registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution

iv. A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester and

v. Two (2) current passport photographs.



The application letter, with all the supporting documents, should be forwarded (by hand or postal delivery) to:
