Taal17:Thanks for your input. More than 3 hospitals I contacted said they don't accept family donor. So I'm beginning to think it's a Nigerian law/policy thing.. |
Whytehandy:Okay, thanks for your advice. We were just thinking of having children that have our traits. Not having a child that might end up not looking like us both academically, physically and morally. But at this junction guess we just have to take what fate has in store for us. |
Peachesarewhite:And why is that ?. Although have contacted Primecare and the hospital told me they don't accept me bringing my own donor. Even when I told them I will provide all legal documents need. The hospital told me point blank it's against their policy and didn't give me any reason. |
I don't know how to begin my conversation. We're both 35yrs old and we've been married for 6years now. And ever since we got married we've been trying to conceive. But guess God is still saying the time is not right yet. We tried IVF Jan/Feb but it failed cos the hospital said our eggs began to fertilize after some hours then failed. After a followup consultation with the gynecologist , she suggested we try getting egg from a donor. She suggested we buy eggs from any voluntary donor. When we explained our situation to my wife's sister, she was willing to give us as many eggs as we want. Considering the fact that she has 3kids already and is not planning on having more anytime soon. Have tried checking Google reviews of some fertility hospital in nigeria. But it just seems like I'm going in circles. Thats why I'm thinking of the good people of nairaland will be kind enough to point me to a reputable hospital in nigeria with a reasonable cost. |
goldtosure:Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. |
Rega99:Okay, I will take a note of that. Would like to ask if you've had an experience with them or what made you suggest them. Thanks a lot. |
Nowayback10:Can you send your email address. Thank you |

lanresz:Thanks a lot sir ... Guess I'll just take things a step at a time. |
ednut1:Thanks chief... I'm very grateful sir. I'll work with the information you've just provided sir |
Treadway:Oh okay sir |
1stGenAmerican:Thanks for the information sir . Gracias |
Have been thinking aloud lately... I don't know if it's possible or the right approach to take. Is it possible to start a logistics business in Canada. Don't know if $10,000-$20,000 will start a mini logistics business. I'm thinking of going into business while my wife pursue her nursing dreams. I'll appreciate your opinion Ednut1,1stGenAmerican,Lanresz,Treadway |
jesmond3945:Okay sir... Thanks for the headup sir |
jesmond3945:My msc course is IT related to health sir. Besides my wife intends starting bsc nursing when we relocate sir. |
ednut1:Sorry to bother you sir... Have Seen two universities that offer a course I might want to go for my MSc sir. This two are cheap from my own point of view sir . Namely, University of Waterloo & Dalhousie University sir. Is it still feasible for me to start the application process as I'm 32yr old already. I tried checking on Google and I can't find any age restriction for msc in Canada sir. |
Lastbornbuns:Okay sir... Yeah, she nurtures the dream of been a nurse someday. But I intend having more then enough funds to Carter for our needs and her schooling anywhere we decide t o relocate to. |
ednut1:Thanks for the links sir... Guess I'll just settle for Canada then. And crush the idea of leaving sooner . I appreciate sir |
Lastbornbuns:Okay sir... Though have got a poor maths background and have phobia for programming. I'm searching to see IT skills that are in demand in Canada that doesn't involve my weak areas. Thanks a lot for your input sir. I appreciate sir |
ednut1:Student route seems to be the only way out. Don't know how Canada, Australia and US immigration thing works. Cos I'm hoping of moving by next year Max (September). |
justwise:Pardon my imprudence sir |
I don't know how to explain this. But I'll appreciate inputs and advise from fellow Nairalanders. Have been a guest for a while. I had to open an account so I can post my ordeal. pardon my grammatical blunders. I'm 32yr old, who resides in the south western part of Nigeria. I'm a graduate of information technology. Though I came out with 2.2 In the university ( This is a story for another, cos all I did in the university was to cram all the calculus and Schrodinger Equations). I'm an entrepreneur, who is into logistics and farming(egg production and fishery). Got diagnosed with HBP( Early last year, not that I live a reckless lifestyle. Its hereditary). Got married to my best friend couple of months ago(she is an undergraduate who has been home for months , thanks to ASUU). We're contemplating on moving abroad for the benefits of our unborn kids. And for a better life (Taking into consideration my health condition). I noticed UK, US and Canada is the most sought after country. Would like inputs from anyone in the know which country gives Spousal visa(Though I Google this already) but I'll appreciate others opinion. Which country is easy to migrate to? I intend starting the process before the years runs out( Cos I don't want to restock another set of birds after selling off my old layers by Dec). CC.
