Computer science with mathematics. Folks what courses did you select abeg

To students in the faculty of Tech especially computer science and engineering department. Please be aware there is a program coming up on resumption called "OAU GEEKCLASS". The program will support only 20 students and is aimed at helping students develop their web and mobile application development skills. GEEKCLASS is sponsored by a company named Codulab and is in existence in a number of Nigerian universities already hence this is the OAU chapter. You are not required to make any form of payment for this program except for your commitment and passion. Like i said this might get competitive due to the limited number of students we were allowed (only 20 from part 1 -5 ). I guess am in real late this time. OAU kinda pissed me off last time i almost lost interest completely.

Lol , less than 60% of admission slots have been filled , so don't feel it bro, it's usually like this for OAU they take the VC list to later time so they can push there candidates in because most are not merited for the course they are given also the DE is yet to have a second list which I suspect will come out in two or three batches with the VC list.

first: the app u stated u wana design is one of many more things u can build with d android studio so u ar in d right space.

second: u dont av to be a bada$$ programmer b4 u can develop android app. all u need is the basic concept of OOP and som blazing passion to learn. oh nd dedication as u might feel lik just dropping d tin somtimz. u shuld read a "little" about xml if u soo av d time (not necessarily ).

third: d guys ar right u'll need more dan just drag nd drop dis time as d drag nd drop creates d xml code ( call it fragments or views if u want) for u but u'll av to link dem up with the main java class for functionality and manipulations as needed. else u ar designing a toy gun bro.

i think we all shuld get our minds off d thought of creating applications without actually coding. well bank phb sha
