[b]He made it clear from inception that he will concentrate on four principal areas that the State has comparative advantage over others. He identified Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Commerce and rapid Industrialisation as the areas his government will pay special attention. The revolution going on in Anambra State in the afore mentioned sectors is sufficiently gratifying. For one, the presence of both local and foreign investors in the area of rice production is a clear demonstration that Governor Obiano is a man of his words as he has a clear vision of the path he is headed. It is expected that Anambra State will be a major exporter of rice within the next few years courtesy of the state government's well articulated agrarian revolution. Last week, the Anambra State government procured and caused to be distributed free of charge large quantities of fertilizer and Aban Super maize seedlings direct to farmers. Each local government area in the state is said to have received minimum of 600 bags each of the products, about 1200 bags in total. The beauty of this kind initiative was that the names of beneficiaries were collated through the various town union and the Local Government merely used as the anchor base for distribution. The implication of this strategy was that no farmer, no matter how poor or disadvantaged, was left out as there was no partisanship in the distribution.[/b] He needs to maintain the momentum therein while concentrating on Oil and Gas; it will be great to see Anambra State refine Aviation fuel and other petroleum products; Industrialization. it will be wonderful to see the Industrial Estate in Ozubulu come alive as Nest Oil and Denca Service set up the Power Plant in nearby Okija. Commerce; it is God-given and God-sustained gift and birthright of a free born Igbo man everywhere to excel in commerce and entrepreneurship. With security, good roads, banks and market everywhere in the state, the stage is set for Anambrarians to unleash their God given talents in this sector. 9 Likes

Rather, the list is populated by the very same people that whispered in their ears, suggesting that they've come to liberate them from the 'greedy' Igbos who are only interested in cornering their wealth!
