samincredible44:The idea for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Agency was conceived in 2011 where some departments in the Federal Ministry of Health was moved to help setup the agency. The departments at that time were Epidemiology Division, the Avian Influenza Project and the Nigeria Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Programme. In November 2018, the bill of an act to establish Nigeria Centre for Disease Control was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari. |

My neighbour yesterday was asking "which party is this" I answered him its not any party in Nigeria." And then he ask again, is it a company? With anger I answer him yes, before he could ask again the full name of the company, I rushed quickly and told him is Nigeria Corona Development Company Jor. He ask me what brings the Jor inside when there's no letter J among those letters NCDC, I said to him, ok Jor is the name of the Chinese man who owns the company. |
Some people were making noise that it can only happen in the North. Lagos how far? The south-westaners always paint tribal picture of anything in Nigeria |

Bayern Munich have appointed Miroslav Klose as assistant coach Germany's all-time leading scorer Miroslav Klose has been appointed Bayern Munich assistant coach for next season. The 41-year-old has been a youth coach at the club for the past two years after retiring as a player in 2016. He spent four seasons as a player with Bayern from 2007, winning league and cup honours. "This is the next step in my career as a coach," Klose said. Bayern head coach Hansi Flick, who signed a contract extension last month, was Germany assistant coach when a side featuring Klose won the 2014 World Cup. "We have known each other very well since our time in the national team and we trust each other both professionally and personally," Klose said. Klose scored 71 goals in 137 games for Germany between 2001 and 2014. He also played for Kaiserslautern, Werder Bremen and Italian side Lazio. |

With the Bundesliga returning next weekend and the Premier League hoping to be back next month, some of this rules may be applied as seen in Koreans league that kicks off today 1: All officials will be on face mask 2: All players on bench will be on face mask 3: No shaking of hands 4: No spitting on close range 5: No discussion on close range 6: player's on pitch don't need mask. 7: Crowd noise will be played over the speakers This was a valuable glimpse into what the new normal looks like as experienced in Koreans league. |
The K League kicked off on Friday as viewers around the world got an idea of what football will look like in the coronavirus age. The stands were empty, bar a few officials and the South Korea manager - all wearing masks. On the benches the subs wore masks - club branded ones in the case of Jeonbuk Motors - and so did most of the coaches and the fourth official. On the pitch there were no masks but handshakes were banned (although players did bump fists at the end) and players were not allowed to spit or talk at close proximity to each other. The atmosphere was surreal with silence for most of the game - apart from the players' shouting. There was the occasional spell of crowd noise piped in (it was surprisingly genuine sounding). And the final whistle was met by deafening silence. The game itself ended in a 1-0 win for champions Jeonbuk Motors over cup holders Suwon Bluewings. Substitute Lee Dong-gook, 41, scored the only goal with a header. There was also a red card and VAR check for a penalty not given. With the Bundesliga returning next weekend and the Premier League hoping to be back next month, this was a valuable glimpse into what the new normal looks like.
