@ abhost, am as puzzled as you are. This is a brand that prides itself as an international brand with global posturing and technical capabilities to deploy some of the worlds best infrastructures, yet Nitel is better than them. Maybe they should placed a vacancy ad in thet dept. |
Our darling Village Kitchen that inspired us to enjoy meals in our mother tongue, where at thy? It seems you have grown cold or am i imagining it? |
At a time when the ICT industry in Nigeria seems to be making reasonable progress especially in the prvision of affordable and 'reliable' internet products and services, our own 'abiku/Ogbanje' Zain is moving in the opposite direction, as their internet service is not only appalling but they keep sending annoying sms with all sorts of excuses for the disgracefull service. I may just be the only one experiencing this, please Nairalanders are other people enjoying Zain internet and how? ![]() |
pecu5:@pecu5, this one you are saying that they are "very conservative" is that you have experienced them? Do you mean they are old school? cos i need a bank that is up to date and innovative. anybody with real experience with this bank? is it true that they did something with Kanu and chimamanda recently? |
I see that this discussion has digressed into the 'Nigerian' situation. I think its instructive that even the so-called highly esteemed, internationally acclaimed industry practicioners and thought leaders dont know 'everything' about finance, marketing and economics afterall. That's the imperfection called human knowledge and intellectual ability. We all goofed. we all have to start an unlearning process and not take anybody's word as a standard rule. |
well guys the way it seems, its like no one has had business relations with this bank. I do however want to know what your perception of the bank is, i need to know what kind of bank you think it is? please help. |
Guys, abeg in this era of failing banks, am considering starting a relationship with Fidelity bank. Considering the fact that they've not had any negative controversies and seem safe. Does anyone really know much about this bank. Make i no go enter wahala ![]() |
whats the mileage |
Babs o Thanks for the detailed insight, its just that it doesnt come across to me that they are very well positioned, i believe you have to plant the corn long before the chicken becomes hungry. For me i see a lot of retail and short term financing, to buy cars, home aplliances etc. must they wait until they get all this monies come in before chatting courses for this more long term financing that will give biorth to more Dangotes and a much need boom in the real sector? i think the time to show that committment is now, or else, they will end up with more money and nothing to do with it. |
The past couple of months has been replete with one bank public offer or another; from 1st bank, to UBA, to Access, to Oceanic, to Fidelity, FCMB and now Afribank, even GT did a GDR offer. we are also aware that more are around the corner. My concern is not about them getting more funds, but what are they really going to do with these monies? Bankers and analysist in the house, whats up? Am worried1 ![]() |

Xanadu, i really cant lay my hands on the phone numbers, but the web address is www.ddb.com. The phone number for the Adeola Hopewell Address however is +234(0)12719330-39 check out the website |
Xanadu, Ma bad, just checked out your location. Are you still in the UK and which area? i know DDB also has an office in London. |
Xanadu, I dont really know what ur venture is or the scope, but u will do well to contact any of the Advertising agencies in town. You could check our DDB - they are on the Island; 6 Adeola Hopewell street to be specific. You could also try any of the other advertising agencies all over town for a professional touch. |
Please i need to know if there is a provision in the constitution, where citizens can galvanize a petition and signatures to sack the entire house of rep. The truth is that this bunch of aimless looters have brought this country to shame and African politics to disrepute. LET ALL OF THEM LEAVE THE HOUSE! |
like i said earlier, despite this personalities irresponsibility, we should take their threat seriously. I have been unfortunate to have encounters with these millitants and my guys, these guys are seriously high on drugs, cocaine etc. The leaaders of these millitants just keep supplying them with hard drugs, if you knew the amount of hard drugs in the ND, hmmmn |
Guys, despite the irresponsibilty of the personality that issued this threat, terrosist usually have nothing to loose i think its high time our leaders(of thought) engage this group and find out what really their grievances are and save Lagos the possible loss of lives and property. we do not need another IRAQ |
Hi guys, Guess i am overwhelmed by the amount of networking that can be achieved on Nairaland, and i think i have missed a lot. Promise to log on everyday from now. KEEP THE FLAG FLYING. |
