Fadimatu Umar, daughter of the district head of Umar Ardo in Yola, Adamawa State, has claimed that her father bribed the Police Commissioner in charge of Force Criminal Investigations Department (FCID) in Abuja to cover up a case of an attempt to kill her. She alleged that her father planned to use her corpse for a ritual. Ms. Umar claimed that her siblings - Murtala, Aisha, Abubakar and Aliyu - were hired by her father to carry out the murder. . Her siblings, she said, attacked her, leaving her with a badly damaged arm, which may have to be amputated. The victim, 28, disclosed that less than a year ago, her stepmother, Bintu, died under mysterious circumstances, which she alleged was the handiwork of her father. The woman's death, Ms. Umar added, convinced her that she would be the next target. . After hearing noises coming from the front gate of her home, Ms. Umar jumped through her window in fear of her life. She alleged that she was pursued by her siblings until they caught up with her in front of the National Identity Card Management Office. . Ms. Umar said she reported the attack to the police, who subsequently arrested Aisha and Abubakar. But Aliyu Umar Ardo, an Air Force officer, and Muitala, who works with Intels Services, escaped arrest by fleeing. . Aliyu, she said, later emerged and wanted to shoot her, a fate she escaped through the intervention of family friends. She maintained that Aliyu and Murtala have continued with their plot to kill her in an effort to end the case of attempted ritual killing she reported to the police. Ms. Umar then fled Yola and petitioned the FCID in Abuja. The petition led to the arrest of Murtala. Their father used his connections to free Murtala, who proceeded to bribe Mr. Jonah Mava, Police Commissioner in charge of the FCID, to dump the case. . She also disclosed that her case with the family would be brought to court in Adamawa State on April 6, but she has been warned not to appear in court because she would be abducted. http://looknaija..com/2017/03/daughter-accuses-adamawa-traditional-attempted-ritual.html mynd44

Some Nigerian guys tend to toast (woo) any girl they are interested in without even considering the time and place. Not minding the location and with so much confidence, they approach you and begin to run their mouths, spitting lines they have specially practiced for wooing girls. Oftentimes, the thinking of certain guys is that they want to take the opportunity to toast the girl as they may not meet her again. That’s true. However, you should be conscious of the places you intend to hit on a woman. Here are the 6 places you should never toast a nigerian girl. Hospital Even if she is Miss Nigeria, you should not toast a girl at the hospital. You don’t know her purpose at the hospital. You appear from nowhere to woo her. You are just disturbing her and wasting your time as she will not answer you. At work You hear what it is called work. She is very busy at work and you still want to collect her number or you want to ask her out? She will just ignore you and at the end of the whole episode, you will be embarrassed. Well, some girls will have pity on you and walk you out. Church/Mosque The Church is a place to listen to the word of God and receive anointing. The same for the mosque. These places are not hubs for chasing women. But it is today. That doesn’t it make right. In danfo buses/BRT Stations Imagine in serious traffic (even when there is no traffic) inside one of those Lagos’s rickety danfos and these guy sitting beside is trying to get your attention. The girl will even be angry that under such harrowing and uncomfortable situation you are toasting her. What she just want is to get home. You are a distraction. For BRT stations, you see a girl standing in a long queue, you want to woo her. That is a wrong time. Cinema We all go to the cinema for different reasons. Some go there to search for potential lovers. But the cinema is a place where you to enjoy the movie you paid for and leave. So, enjoy your movie and when it is over you can go talk to whomever you are interested in. Don’t do this immediately after the movie, though. Her father’s house When a Nigerian father sees their daughter with, they think about all sorts of things like she has joined bad gang. Most of which are negative. Hence, quite a number of girls don’t like guys wooing them in front of their father’s house especially if they are meeting you for the first time. http://looknaija..com/2017/03/not-woo-nigerian-lady-any-of-places.html

This is a very sensitive topic and a typical African woman when approached with the matter comes with a lot of shyness and embarrassment, that’s just the honest truth. When a woman is making love with her husband, lover, boyfriend, friends with benefits and she gets direct clitoral stimulation and is able to reach her pleasure spot which brings an overwhelming sensation that makes a woman feels she is in another planet hmmm! And she moves her body to the rhythm as the pleasure gets more intense and her sounds gets louder followed by an apparent release then That woman is definenatly not faking this particular orgasm. But my article is talking about the women who fake orgasm and the reasons why they fake it. HERE ARE THE REASONS WHY SOME WOMEN FAKE ORGASM. TOO YOUNG AND INEPERIENCED This is one of the natural factors - when a girl, woman, young and inexperienced. Been inexperienced doesn’t necessarily mean these set of ladies is young just not exposed enough to know much about sex and lovemaking and the pleasure that goes with it, as per the young being disvirgined then having to meet a partner who would actually teach the woman about lovemaking and that she needs to learn more about her body and not been ashamed to have the feelings of an orgasm. Due to inexperience and being young and being with a partner who is very selfish this set of women will definitely fake an orgasm just even out of curiosity. It takes a caring and sensitive man to make them realize their body can give them intense pleasure with the right partner. NOT IN THE MOOD FOR SEX: Some set of women are not in the mood to have sex, it depends on the situation its either they are not happy with the man and don’t know how to tell him and don’t want to lose him so they endure. So most time when their man comes to have sex with them they do it with them and fake orgasm to make the men feel like a Don and the king. TO HURRY UP AND GET DONE WITH IT: Well some ladies when they are with their steady partners that they are sexually active with, they have gotten so used to their partner so they just want to have sex most times and get it done with very monogamous. In the process of their sexual intercourse their partner isn’t hitting their center of gravity that would lead them to having a mind blowing orgasm so they fake it so they can move on to other things and probably work load to cook, or even go clubbing they just want the sex over and done with. SEX NOT SATISFYING: Some ladies who have been victims of sexual abuse as a young girl and probably from a dysfunctional family. Their mindset towards sex is already messed up, misguided views from their mum that sex is only for procreation and even some ladies make it hard for the men to discover their center of gravity because of their frigidness and moral values, they even feel dirty when they find themselves moaning to sex at all, they feel it’s bad, they are getting wayward so this makes them not enjoy sex at all. These set of women who are equally married to rigid men might not fully enjoy the beautiful euphoria of intense lovemaking with their partners and give them orgasm because even the men might think their faking their orgasm is bad and that their wives will cheat on them so they are even mindful faking orgasm. And those who have worldly husband who has plenty mistresses fake so as not be look like a wood in bed whereas the man is the one not getting her center of gravity cause he has other girlfriends. TO PLEASE THEIR PARTNERS NOT TO HURT THEIR FEELINGS: This is a major reason and most of these women would really want to be able to give their husband mind blowing sex, and keep him satisfied. And when in the process of having sex and their partner is not able to get across to their direct center of gravity through the sexual positions they are used to, instead of telling the guy which would destroy his self esteem. She would fake the orgasm like mehnn she is really on fire with mind blowing orgasm sensations whereas she isn’t feeling anything especially when her man pays the bills. Instead of telling their man what pleasures them how they want it they feel their man might think they are having an affair. Been open with your partner is the key to discovering pleasure spots in your body you never imagine possible. After all well said and done faking orgasm isn’t good for us women because we are denying ourselves the ultimate pleasure of lovemaking. God created it with a committed and loving partner. Sex is for matured minds and you would take your time to explore each other’s body to have a very satisfying sex life. Let your man discover your center of gravity for you, don’t be shy and we are not in 1968 even then women became aware of their sexuality they were not completely primitive due to some ancient movies I have watched, women who inhibit themselves and hold on to grudges can’t fully enjoy sex. You have to let go, having a mind blowing orgasm is part of having a great sex life with your partner it’s very important for a relationship, so faking an orgasm one day the culprit will get tired and the truth will be out, not always a nice sight. Ladies faking orgasm sort out your mindset issue and look for caring and loving partners. http://looknaija..com/2017/03/5-reasons-why-some-women-fake-orgasm.html lalasticlala mynd44 |

The Dana Air plane crash that killed 159 people on the third day of June 2012 was a man-made massacre that could have been avoided, Nigeria’s Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, said in a final report on Monday. At a press conference packed with about 100 journalists, AIB Commissioner, Mr. Akin Olateru, read the AIB report. The report detailed how after Dana Air first engine failed 17 minutes into the flight, the American pilot could have landed in a nearby airport. But he did not. Rather, he risked his own life and that of the 152 other passengers and crew for nearly 40 minutes until the aircraft could no longer reach the runway of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos. “Engine number 1 lost power seventeen minutes into the flight, and thereafter on final approach, Engine number 2 lost power and failed to respond to throttle movement on demand for increased power to sustain the aircraft in its flight configuration,” Engineer Olateru said. Then followed series of actions and inactions that caused so many lives. “The inappropriate omission of the use of the Checklist, and the crew’s inability to appreciate the severity of the power-related problem, and their subsequent failure to land at the nearest suitable airfield” could be blamed for the crash, he said, reading a report that was approved by virtually all stakeholders in the industry. There was also, as he put it, “lack of situation awareness, inappropriate decision making, and poor airmanship”. All these revelations are likely to anger again families who argued with little evidence back then that the airline failed to put the safety of their loved ones first. AIB had published four interim reports since the tragedy occurred. On Monday, along with three other accidents, it released the final reports. The Dana Air tragedy occurred on a Sunday. Many people who had gone to Abuja, the Nigerian capital, for the weekend were just coming back that bright afternoon of third June 2012. Visibility was perfect. Nigeria had spent several years without any major plane crash. Hopes were rising and many people from other African countries were travelling to Lagos to learn from Africa’s most populous nation. And then, 17 minutes into the Dana flight, the first engine failed. Abuja-Lagos is roughly a 55 or 60 minutes flight. The pilot could have turned back and could have landed in a nearby airfield, the report suggested. But, he made the decision to fly with one engine. However, the second engine also failed some minutes before reaching the Lagos airport. With both engines gone, it was a tragedy that could no longer be avoided. At least 153 passengers and crew perished as well as six people on the ground who were going about their daily lives at Iju-Ishaga area where the flying machine crumbled. AIB said it made eight recommendations following the crash and Dana Air said in a statement on Monday that it had complied with them since 2013. The airline was suspended in 2012 following the accident and the loss of so many lives, but was allowed to begin operations anew, even though some issues were still pending in court, and some family members were yet to bury their loved ones. In a country where life means nothing, reports like these may not likely raise the protests and anger they deserve. AIB released three other damning reports of three other air accidents that Look Naija would discuss in subsequent articles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaJGdJhf4Jg https://looknaija..com/2017/03/dana-air-plane-crash-killed-159-man-made.html Download the final report here http://looknaija..com/2017/03/download-final-report-on-dana-air-crash.html |

Our Publisher at LookNaija Blog, attempts to provide answers to 7 key questions Nigerians and the international community have been asking about President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from a sick leave in the United Kingdom yesterday. When did President Buhari return to Nigeria and how long was he abroad President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria on March 10, 2017, exactly 50 days after he left the country on January 19 for rest and some medical checks. He had planned to return on February 5 to resume work the next day on February 6. But on February 5, he extended his sick leave via a letter to the Senate. The President said he was simply obeying the advice of his doctors who wanted him to carry more tests before returning to the country. Is President Buhari done with his tests now? Is he fully recovered now? On Friday, March 10, when he returned, he met some members of government and security chiefs and in a speech to them and the nation, he said he “feels much better now”, but added that there may be need for “further follow ups within weeks”. So, the President is healthy enough to endure a six hour trip from London to Kaduna and another 20 or 25 minutes from Kaduna to Abuja but he’s not fully ok. Some reports claimed that the President may be travelling back in the next two weeks to complete his tests in the United Kingdom. Does anyone know what ails the President? Has he disclosed it? Some people such as his doctors and close family members and friends might know. But he has not told the Nigerian public. The constitution and the law in general do not compel him or anybody to talk about their illness in public. It’s treated as a private matter. With President back into the country, is he in charge of the country now? Or is Vice President osinbajo still acting? The Vice President Osinbajo remains acting President until Mr. Buhari notifies the National Assembly on Monday that he is back. Although he is in the country, but in the eyes of the law, he is not yet back. His spokesman Femi Adesina was quoted as saying that Mr. Buhari would notify the National Assembly on Monday that he is now back into the country and ready to resume work. So, Osinbajo remains acting President this weekend. Buhari said he may go back for some follow ups within weeks, why did he have to come back then? Why didn’t he wait until everything is complete? Yes, indeed, many have said that the President should have just stayed in London to complete his treatment, but unconfirmed reports said the President was “forced” to return to reclaim power. An online newspaper has consistently said Mr. Buhari is unwell and may need many months abroad for his treatment. But that he was asked to come, show up and return, to at least disprove rumours that he was not well, could not walk or talk. But these are just unconfirmed reports and no one has any solid evidence to prove that Mr. Buhari returned to Nigeria against the advice and wishes of his doctors in London. How did the country receive him? Are people happy to see their President back? There are mixed reactions. People from the northern part of Nigeria were very happy. There were celebrations in Kaduna and Borno states, according to reports. And when the plane carrying President Buhari landed at the Air Force base in kaduna, supporters ran helter-skelter in jubilation. It was difficult to control the crowd. Many prominent people from northern Nigeria also welcomed the President. But in other parts of the country, many say the economy was improving without Mr. Buhari and he should have remained in London for many months. But officially, no one really came to condemn his return. But there are many people who wished Osinbajo remained in charge till 2019 when the next election takes place. What does Buhari return mean to Nigeria’s politics and the economy? Really, no one knows the direction the country would take in the next two weeks, especially as far as the economy is concerned. There are many politicians who were afraid of rumours of Mr. Buhari’s passing. Those fears would be put to rest for now. But if there are clear signs that Mr. Buhari is unable to lead the country, the power struggle ahead of 2019 may begin. Four men who will be watched closely are former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor of Katsina state, Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to a certain degree, the governor of Sokoto state, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, who, unlike El-Rufai, has a national appeal and seems to be doing well in Sokoto. As time goes on, the picture would become clearer. http://looknaija..com/2017/03/7-questions-answers-about-president-return-planned-departure.html mynd44
