Education / LASU Graduate, Corps Member Implement E Library In Kwara State by akinola61(m): 8:07pm On Oct 05, 2019
A corps member currently serving at Kwara state IFELODUN local government make use of his policy making skills to improve the standard of education by making sure the community provides a E-library for the students within and outside of the community, Akinola Ayobami Steven is a graduate of history and international relations with keen interest in contributing selflessly to build human capital and potential. Thanks to Igbaja people's forum and the president of IPF the person of Dr Razak and Honorable Tajudeen and others people who supported for this project.....
The educational system of the igbaja community is gradually deteriorating. The schools textbooks are archaic and even the mode of teaching are obsolete. During survey of the community, it was discovered that there was an existing e library, this gave I and my colleagues much joy believing there is hope for this community, but after taking a survey we found out that it is not functioning since the day it was commissioned that was over 5 years ago. There is a need for a functioning community e-library for personal research and advanced learning, which is a concern for me and my fellow corps member Israel and John. There is no access to internet facilities within the community at large to improve research among students and to help develop them during home works, examinations and personal research. We also noticed that students cannot operate computer or write e-based test and there is an abandoned e-library in the community. There is popular saying that we are the product of what we see and hear, seeing aid learning and help what we hear settles down and process conceived information’s faster. The use of ICT to transform rural areas will enhance the quality and performances of educational services. This visual learning will help the students and teachers to learn fast and teach well, thereby amplify existing curriculum.
After meeting with different stake holders started soliciting for funds and equipment, it was not easy thou, but God was involved. Now the Library have started functioning with a lot of advanced equipment inside the library .Akinola Ayobami Steven is currently the first librarian of the Igbaja ultra modern E - Library

Politics / Re: Breaking News! Police Men Flee From Ewedogbo As Militant Advanced Into Lasu Rd by akinola61(m): 3:11pm On Jul 30, 2016
RE: THEREE (3) STUDENTS SUSPENDED FOR AN ATTEMPT TO ABDUCT LASUSU PRESIDENT, TAYO SEKONI; THE TISSUES OF LIES; THE HIDDEN FACTS; CONSPIRACY OF THE LASU MANAGEMENT; ABUSE OF OFFICE BY THE LASU VICE CHANCELLOR; CALCULATED ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE VIRILE STUDENTS UNIONISM IN LASU.

LASU Management led by Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun in its anti-student manner and incessant abuse of due process, fear hearing, rule of law, equity and good conscience and misrepresentation of the legal profession which he represents as a senior member of the bar and also a slap to the Professorship cadre which he represents, stoop so low by pronouncing suspension on some sets of students who are actually aggrieved and had issues among themselves; suspending one group for the other. It’s a known fact that the other group unsuspended mobilized cultist to attack, assault, threaten and abduct their colleagues at the just concluded NANS national convention at Gombe which was duly reported to the management by the groups suspended on the 28th July, 2016 but the management took deaf ears, stood passive instead of suspending LASUSU President, Nurudeen Yusuf Temilola Optimist (FRESH LASU GRADUATE), Mudashiru Eniafe & Adebayo Alabonla Nurudeen (BIGBOWL) who masterminded the assault on their colleagues at GOMBE STATE UNIVERSITY, Gombe, Gombe State instead suspended the other party because the Students Union President is already a rubber stamp to the FAGBOHUN LED ADMINISTRATION.
CAN THIS SINGULAR ACT OF THESE STUDENTS AND FAGBOHUN LED ADMINISTRARTION BE REGARDED AS GOOD IMAGE FOR LASU.?

We however, write in this instance to render and profess FAGBHOUN’s JANKARA MARKET suspension on the above named persons as null and void and does not hold water as it is lacking in merit due process and integrity. Hence, Lanre Fagbohun is declared biased, tyrannical, dictatorial, despotic and an ABACHA in Vice Chancellor gown who is more seen as a scalar quantity other than vector quantity just as he desire to cage genuine students unionism which we won’t allow.

WHAT LED TO THE OTHER
The saga between the two groups Fagbohun boys led by Sekoni Tayor and Comrades on campus began from Gombe State where all institution converged to exercise their fundamental right to franchise. Initially, we were all supposed to move as one LASU down to the venue from Lagos but because TAYOR (LASUSU PRESIDENT) had peached his tent with other candidate contesting (BIGBOWL) which was duly endorsed by the Dean of Students’ Affairs (DSA) in person of Dr Obayori. They i.e TAYOR (LASUSU PRESIDENT) & his team all connived to play politics of divide and rule by lying to the Erudite groups that they have left with the University Coaster Bus while they were still in Lagos (FCET AKOKA).

WHO REALLY WAS KIDNAPPED AND HOW??
Well, they thought because of the distance if the other groups won’t make it down but rather the Erudite team been proactive were resolute and hired two cars to take them down to Gombe. Our arrival was indeed a shock to the TAYO TEAM that faithful morning as we immediately swung into action campaigning and canvassing aggressively for votes for the ERUDITE TEAM, the popular acceptability gave them shock and put them off balance. This led to the TAYOR team mobilizing cultist to kidnap Erudite and five others which were beaten to comma and thereafter led into the LASUSU coaster bus in the presence of NURUDEEN YUSUF TEMILOLA OPTIMIST, MUDASHIRU ENIAFE, SHEKONI TAYO (LASUSU PRESIDENT) & ADEBAYO ALABONLA NURUDEEN (BIGBOWL) and we were later driven to an unknown destination at gun point. Erudite and others were beaten; phones and properties were collected and forced under duress to step down for TAYO LASUSU PRESIDENT’s candidate BIGBOWL. TAYO was therein heard saying word for word that ‘’ na Erudite make una kill am’’ we have support of the University Management to frustrate their candidacy. He further gave instruction to his cult boys which was duly carried out. He was also dressed in black saying he his now an Aye Member. Yes Erudite stepped down at gun point to save his life from been cut short untimely by Tayor Lasusu President’s gang with the display of different guns in the LASU coaster bus. After which we requested to be on our way back to Lagos since our reason for been there has been aborted at gun point which they disagreed with. Against all odds we manipulated our way out of there hands saying we wanted to go bath and eat but with the intention of embarking on our journey back to Lagos. Getting to our vehicles we realized its been vandalized by the TAYO LED GANGS bursting all our tyres, an eye witness, still very much alive identified MUDASHIRU ENIAFE from there group when he showed the cult boys where our vehicles were parked and witnessed how they punctured it (pictorial evidences are available). Still covered by the shock, we quickly called BIGBOWL’s attention to this and he was like they were only asked to deflate the tyres but later gave Thirty thousand naira (N30,000) for procurement of the punctured tyres. We managed to get back into Lagos and immediately rooted a petition through the Dean of Student Affairs and till now not been attended to.

THE TAYOR'S LIE ABOUT ABDUCTION
It is true we met him at the school gate, its true we got to OBADORE together, its a fundamental lie that there was attempted kidnapp, its also true we challenged him at OBADORE saying TAYOR come down lets do it like a man now, where are your AYES now? where are the GUNS you asked us to be killed with? And after all, we later let him go. We were unarmed and we were just two while he was in company of two other guys, it was a man to man challenge a case of two fighting. Am glad they said they have video evidences, they should please provide it to the general public and lets all watch and listen to the utterances.

QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED?
Does it mean LASU Management aided the transportation of illegal arms from one state to the other since they approved the bus for the CONVENTION?

Does it mean LASU Management was a party to the Gombe kidnap that till now nothing has been done by them on the issue and the persons were transported in LASU bus?

Why is the petition not been attended to for days but TAYOR LASUSU PRESIDENT’S verbal report could be swiftly attended to? We smell betrayal.

Does it also mean LASU Management is trying to protect their instrument?

Greatest Lasuites!!! the LASU Management as indeed bitten more than they can chew and the struggle to put an end to all form of oppression and anti-student policy as just begun, we can’t imagine Lanre Fagbohun threatned to suspend student if you wear face cap and lots more and all this seeing the light of the day because we have a prefect in the LASUSU PRESIDENT’S SEAT.

We call on genuine Comrade to take this as a generational fight as the struggle has just begun. Remember! Remember!! Remember!!! the struggle of our heroes past.

ALUTA CONTINUA, VICTORIA ASCERTA!!!
