I just received my test scores for MAY 20th 2023(Academic with BC) and I must confess that I am completely bewildered because of my performance in writing (SLRW - 8.5, 8, 7.5, 6). In as much as it is hilarious, I will not rule out the fact that I am absolutely distraught. A band 7.5 in reading is fine considering the fact that I was very sick on my test day and somehow, I tried to navigate my way through the passages. However a Band 6 in writing is something I honestly cannot fathom. I am here wondering and asking myself : how the hell will I rewrite another IELTS ACADEMIC? I do not want to think about the finances involved because I broke the bank just to write this exam. What is so heartbreaking about everything is the level of preparation I put into this exam even though I was in and out of the hospital 2 weeks to taking it. Right now, I am exhausted, mentally drained and overwhelmed with an intense feeling of disappointment; for someone who once had a thriving writing career, I guess I do not know what I am doing after all PLEASE I HAVE A QUESTION TO ASK: IS PENCIL NO LONGER ALLOWED IN IELTS WRITING? PLEASE IGNORE ANY TYPOS. I am currently experiencing a throbbing headache. Let me sleep and wake up, then I will decide on my next course of action THANK YOU ALL |

Doyenro23:Ideally, second class lower can not apply to university of Manitoba. It is 2.1 above. However, there are scenarios whereby some schools take 2.2. You have to have a mad ass sop, work experience, have written enough journals etc. The wahala plenty abeg . Even at that some schools like University of British Columbia requires that the 2.1 should be from 4 and above. You can try out Cape Breton and some colleges. |
Please I am quite perplexed. Can someone whose CGPA is 3.6/5 (second class upper) a graduate of Medical Laboratory Sciences apply to Canadian universities for masters? I have sent couple of cold emails to some Professors at the University of Manitoba yet I have not received any reply. Can I get a reply to this please? I am beginning to consider going for a post baccalaureate Diploma in Healthcare Management at Cape Breton University Nova Scotia |
